Great hotel in the heart of Buckhead. Everytime I go there for ballroom events, I feel like I'm in some Hollywood movie. Pricey but seems worth it.
Beautiful and historic hotel, a must visit while in Atlanta. We hung at the bar for a while and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Must stay for the 6pm champagne saber experience; that was fun.
Saint Regis is located right in the heart of Buckhead, surrounded by pleasant dining accommodations and stores. The rooms are upscale and modern, and most importantly, CLEAN. Guest service is fantastic.
High tea was ridiculously overpriced but the experience was so nice. Great hotel, great service and great experience.
The Christmas display was beautiful. Make sure you try the complimentary hot apple cider. Thanks Robin (concierge) for the tour and escort to the Garden Room. With your assistance we were able to get a table and not sit at the bar.
Had tea today. Very different from the awesome tea we had there in October - the one I raved about to all my friends who in turn took their parents there the following month.
In October we received a warm drink ahead of the scones. There were 8 scones and plenty of jam and cream. The savouries were plentiful and separate from the desserts. The team was warm and friendly - it was just an overall different experience from today...
Today we were given tea, 3 scones and all the food (savouries and desserts) together on a smaller Tiered Tray. Much of the glamour and pristine attention to detail was missing. The staff/team was great and en masse but the quality of the food was NOT the usual (and I've eaten there many times). It was shocking. We paid $40 previously for something that I'd have willingly paid $75 but today it was $55 for what felt like sub par (not the usual St. Regis over the top incredible taste) food. I'm shocked. I don't know what happened.
Very kind gesture of macarons at the end of tea, wasn't expecting that. Very grateful as macarons francaises are our favourite but it doesn't make up for the lack lustre tiers with desserts and savouries shoved together. Not cool.
I will give it one more chance - maybe today was an off day.
Classically nicer hotel. Good location, quiet area of buckhead
A fabulous hotel. Great service but very expensive. The spa was pretty amazing as well, best massage I've ever had (of three in my life).
Beautiful, Regal, and Classy! Top of the line everything! I enjoyed my 1st visit and will definitely be back!
Spectacular service...ambiance..cleanliness...attention to detail!!
Gorgeous hotel with top shelf service from the minute you leave your car with valet. We are here for a family wedding weekend...so much attention paid to every detail. Would highly recommend! *Be sure to enjoy the Passion Fruit Whiskey Fizz by the pool.
Went to St. Regis after midnight on December 31st. The new years eve party had just ended. We wanted to have some drinks at the bar but no one could be bothered to attend to us.
HORRIBLE , UNTRUSTING EXPERIENCE FROM THE WEDDING/CATERING STAFF
UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES / BEWARE OF QUOTING STEEP DIFFERENCES IN PRICING
We were trying to book a wedding at St. Regis Atlanta, and I'm still at shock writing this. Originally we were going to hold a ceremony and reception at St. Regis Dana Point in California since most of our family is in that state, but have, at the end, decided to host it in Atlanta. And here it begins: we contact one person, Whitney, give her our dates and she says we normally charge $50-60K for our venue, however for those dates in November 2013 we can do it for $25K. My mom then calls and tries to further negotiate, and possibly close the deal, and another girl, Katrina quotes her at least $50K minimum requirement. My fiance then calls, tries to speak to the manager of catering, named Maryam, tries to explain the situation and what was quoted to us at 2 different times (since the difference between the two is steep) and she quickly transfers us back to Whitney. Whitney meets with us, and even though she remembers of speaking with us quotes us $35K minimum (even though we discussed $10K lower amount 2 days prior). Unbeliveable - the unprofessionalism is appaling!!
We will take our business, and November 2013 wedding elsewhere.
That all said, when we did try and talk to someone at St. Regis Dana Point, all the prices were upfront, Amanda Hardesty and her team quoted us 1 price the whole 6 times we communicated via email and phone. This by far, does not reflect the St. Regis as a company, but the unexperienced, immature team of women working at the Atlanta location. The trust has gone done to 0 after this ordeal with them, and we will not be booking any events at the Atlanta location.
I hope someone from the upper management reads this, I'm sure this is not the first time this has happened - how do you give 3 different quotes to the same people in 1 week of time?!
Unimpressed so far. We arrived at noon and were told our room was not ready. Fair enough. When I asked for a private space to pump breast milk while we waited I was directed to a bathroom. When I asked for something else they took me to a tiny printer closet in the business center and rolled a chair in. I definitely expected higher service from the St. Regis. This is far below the service provided at the NY St. Regis.
Went to dinner at Chops Lobster Bar. Service and food were top notch. Definitely going back.
Beautifully decorated rooms and Friendly and attentive staff
Amazing Customer Service and the best hotel in Atlanta. Absolutely the best accommodations I have ever stayed in and they were outstanding. We were upgraded to a suite for our anniversary! The staff is outstanding from the moment you step out of your vehicle. Exceptional service! Like another reviewer has stated "First Class service everywhere"
Top notch everybody treats you with genuine respect Tuesday this is 5 star at its best
A classic feel with modern amenities. Great staff quick and attentive.
The Regis was beautiful. Everyone working there were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too.
This was my first experience with high tea and it was fantastic. The food and the service was wonderful and we all enjoyed it.
We misunderstood the ginger house exhibit...we thought there were lots of gingerbread houses to see, however there was only one big one where they were selling candy. It was a disappointment.
Service was terrific! Food and meeting space above average.
Was there for a reception. It has a great open terrace which is great in the evening.
Beautiful lobby with fun ice rink in the plaza in the winter.
Such a beautiful hotel, and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was gorgeous and comfortable with excellent amenities like panel-controlled lights, a tv in the bathroom mirror, and complimentary turn down service. The only down side is the lack of a complimentary breakfast for guests.
Almost five stars except for the valet. When I came out of the hotel, there were no attendents and it took a while for anyone to show up and take out ticket.
Very nice hotel with good lunch meeting space with excellent and diverse food options
Old reviews on here! I was there two days ago. The worst "tea" I have ever been to. Ambiance "NONE"
Presentation "NONE"
Elegance "NONE"
Price ... More than Claridge's in London!
Perfect. Afternoon Tea was relaxing, and the ambiance was delightfully exquisite.
I cannot rate this place high enough! They want you to not only be satisfied but to be a raving fan. They created one in me!
Loved the Lobby Covid Killer girl. That's what they call her. I felt very comfortable and safe
Service was awful. I am a Platinum member and the were terrible to me.
Awesome, we had a wedding on the Beach and I swam with fish
The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The service is exceptional and very polite.
I stopped by the hotel to check out the venue and a band that was performing. The venue was beautifully ornate, and the band was wonderful.
Everything seemed to be of the highest quality, though I was only there shortly to visit someone staying there.
The St. Regis lives up to it's reputation. The location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the hotel is in excellent condition.
BILLING NIGHTMARE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD AFTER YOUR VISIT. My reservation at the hotel was booked and to be paid for by a Corporation for business purposes. The hotel charged me incorrectly for 3 nights of overnight parking when I never parked my car there overnight and charged my personal credit card for room charges that were reserved under a corporate group. Upon leaving, I received a $0 invoice but charges appeared on my credit card the next day without documentation or an explanation. I attempted to call numerous times requesting an explanation of the charges on my credit card. I finally received an email of the charges 6 days after check-out after talking and requesting it 5 times with 5 different people. The manager and billing person were not helpful and could not provide answers to questions I had regarding why I am responsible for their billing errors. They told me they would investigate and contact me back and have not as of yet. I work in the field of luxury and customer service and I am disgusted by how they treated me on this issue. I expected better from a 5 star hotel and in a hospitality industry that often works with our business. I now have to go through a long process disputing this with my credit card. Terrible experience with incompetent staff and poor system verifications and communications for billing the room duration and the parking.
We had a great weekend getaway at the St. Regis. The staff was attentive and the room was very nice. The property is well maintained and is located well.
It smelled nice had to literally wait 26 min to be served.
Beautiful property - nice rooms with high-end finishes.
Stayed at the St Regis to attend a conference being held there. I had never stayed at the St Regis and was very excited.
Overall, the service is superb. Accommodations, however are not as grand. Updates to decor needed and housekeeping could be better.
Spa if full service. I had a nice manicure there.
Restaurant is just okay.
I found the St Regis to be about the same experience as a Ritz Carlton, but for almost DOUBLE the price.
I likely would only return if someone else is paying.
So I come back from my swim to my room and found 3 people digging through condiments in the room ( counting alcohol and snacks) before the check out. Thought it s good hotel from the review. If you want people to dig through your stuff, you are more than welcome to stay here.Paid lots of money for the room too.
Friends and I had late night drinks at the bar after a charity event. The service was quick and atmosphere was great. The cocktail menu wasn't that inspired, but drinks good.
I went for drinks at their upstairs bar and the cocktail list is just embarrassing as well as ridiculously overpriced for the liquors and mixers they use ($18 for Bacardi and Bombay Gin based drinks). Not particularly charming inside the bar, the outside seating is better. Will be taking my fancy nights out elsewhere.
