We went to celebrate my sister's birthday at Astor Court and it was a spectacular experience. All employees from the valet to the waiters to the pool, where we went for a moment to take pictures, are super friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and they gave us a lovely dessert at no extra charge with a candle. The hotel and restaurant are very high class and both are very special.
!*EXPECTING MOMS BEWARE*!
Booked a massage here, and was the WORST I've ever experienced. Had nail marks on my back from the woman who dug in with her long nails, but the worst part was after telling them multiple times that I'm 5 months pregnant, they put me face down on the table for an hour, putting dangerous levels of pressure on the womb and baby. It was traumatic to say the least and I had to chase them down for a week just to get a refund. My husband and I even had a room there that night, and the best we got was a fruit plate, not even an "Are you OK?" I would have received more immediate concern and respect at a Holiday Inn.
Go ANYWHERE else to relax.
Cool atmosphere, but people were kind of pretentious and drinks were overpriced.
A-mazing service! From the time we stepped out of the car the staff was super attentive to anything we needed. It's not the cheapest place to stay but you get what you pay for. St.Regis puts you in the lap of luxury and makes you feel like royalty. Be sure to check out the great resteraunts and pool on site as well.
The ONLY place to stay in Buckhead and you will never be disappointed at the quality of service that the staff provides and the amenities that come standard with any room type. Have an issue with drycleaning, no problem. Need help with a special night on the town, done! Have a romantic event and need some help with the room planning, no worries. The staff at the St. Regis have always gone above and beyond my expectations and I will always return to them when I am in need of accommodations.
Be careful when you stay here. Place all valuables in the safe. My brothers belongs was stolen out his room. Staff used a key to access the room.
Beautiful hotel. Bar is nice, people are friendly. Service is excellent. I was here to celebrate the New Year, and the atmosphere was definitely vibrant.
Came for afternoon tea. Tea selection was small but good. Scones were very soft like rolls and delivered separately from the tier. Tier included standard sandwiches in addition to a smoked salmon roll. Macaroons and other small treats were good. Service was acceptable.
Very nice and swanky. Rooms and all outside accoutrement were very nice and very clean.
Wonderful large room with perfect beds and linens. Nice attention to details with the cleaning. Helpful and friendly staff. The red light in the bathroom mirror is a tv! Convenient location if you want to take a walk.
We went for a work Christmas party. It was a beautiful and pristine. They served us breakfast and it was just ok. Service was great and it was warm and welcoming. Hopefully one day I can afford to stay here as an overnight guest.
I attended a wedding at this venue. It's beautiful and luxurious. There are many small rooms that open up into larger spaces to make the transition from an intimate ceremony to a spacious reception. The staff is professional and friendly. I'd recommend this space for any event in the Buckhead area.
Beware of The Thanksgiving Buffet, room service food, and general food selections of the restaurant. Once upon a time The St. Regis Hotel Thanksgiving Buffet and food was par excellent pre 2017 before Marriott took over. Before Marriott the food represented the local heart of elegant southern cuisine. I'm not a buffet person for I can only eat small portions yet the Thanksgiving display was artistically orchestrated to entice even the smallest eaters to try samplings of scrumptious selections. It was also in a smaller environment in the front Astor Court unlike the 2017 & 2018 Thanksgiving buffets located in an oversized Ballroom with pathetic food selections stretching from one end of the ballroom to the other end and by the time one got back to their table from winding around other tables your food was cold and honestly it didn't matter because some of the food was not even palatable. You are probably wondering why we came back for the 2018 Thanksgiving Buffet after the disastrous 2017 Buffet. My Mom is a resident of The St. Regis and we come to visit her from out of town on Thanksgiving, for her its much easier to gather and for 2018 we were hoping it had improved from 2017, unfortunately it was even worse than the previous year. We have watched the patrons from the past Thanksgivings dwindle from the devoted locals to an array of unsuspecting out of towner's awaiting the miserable finale of the one foot by one foot plastic bowled milk chocolate dribbling fountain of what the heck do you put in that pathetic looking display. And for us born and raised southerners forget the dressing by the turkey the chef thought the dressing was the gravy. To make a real statement of what the present day St. Regis in the heart of Buckhead Atlanta thinks of Southern Cuisine on Thanksgiving, they had a buffet section labeled Southern Food which consisted of fried chicken and biscuits. The service attendants being from Cuba, Puerto Rico and other areas around the globe were trying to be helpful with the unusual circumstances thrusted upon them in the complicated layout of the buffet so they were burdened and visibly frustrated. The room service menu has changed dramatically and having a good fish or salad is impossible. The caliber of food at the St. Regis is disappointing for the quality St. Regis should be representing.
I stay at five star hotels all over the world, including in New York, London and Chicago. This one of the most beautiful hotels, with the best service, that I have ever stayed in.
I have been coming to St Regis for over 10 years and I must say it is the best place in town. From the exquisite decor to the attention to fine detail its my choice to celebrate special occasions or grab a bite to eat or just a coffee. Paula and Jefferson @ Astor court took care of me recently for my baby boy's birthday celebration and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. My guests were very complimentary and satisfied about everything.
This venue is gorgeous, however, very disappointed that we were not allowed to take pictures of wedding couple in the beautiful lobby.
Wonderful large room with perfect beds and linens. Nice attention to details with the cleaning. Helpful and friendly staff. The red light in the bathroom mirror is a tv! Convenient location if you want to take a walk.
Jewel was amazing. The service was excellent. I came in for a quick breakfast he made a few menu suggestions that were great. I would recommend you ask for him when you come in.
This place is nice. I couldn't imagine affording this but it's nice. The staff are very polite.
Beautiful upscale hotel near everything in Buckhead
Enjoyed our stay at the St. Regis. Very clean, excellent staff, and great location. Definitely home away from home.
Excellent hotel centrally located and beautiful property.
Food wasn t anything remarkably good, waiters and host even manager made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed at all. They messed up on our brunch order 3 times!!!! How?
The St Regis was more than we expected. Accommodations were excellent. Staff was friendly and courteous. I would definitely return. The wedding was spectacular and well planned. Beautiful hotel. Restaurants awesome.
Attended an event only saw ballrooms, amazingly beautiful and great buckhead location
Very Pretty, but Noisy and small but The numbers of people in MY group
Simply the best in the South. A world class experience all around. The decor is exceptional - from the lobby to the rooms. Likewise, so is the food at Paces 88. Wow. One of my favorite bars in Atlanta as well. But, by far, the best exterior setting in Atlanta is the patio around the fireplace. You need to come and experience for yourself. Can you tell I like this place?
As a nurse I needed a night of rest and relaxation, I stayed in room 510 it was large and clean, however there was a annoying howling, whistling noise coming from the air conditioning blower motor all night long....I am not sure if it s like that in all the rooms, but it was certainly disruptive to my sleep....For the price of the room I expect better.....so much for the R and R !!
We were filming on location at St. Regis, and it was clean, friendly, and lovely to be in.
This is an iconic hotel anywhere in the world and the building itself is spectacular. The hotel rooms could use a freshening but they are still deluxe. They have not been updated with the plugs where they should be. Do I really have to charge my phone in the bathroom? Not the desk or bed area as the plugs are full and you have to get on the floor. The pool looks lovely thought I never have the time. Service is spotty. Sometimes awesome, others non existent. For the price and the name this should never be at question. I prefer the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead but the restaurant is closed for renovations. Their location is also far superior
Met my family at the bar before heading out to dinner. Nice atmosphere and great staff.
Nice place for cigars and drinks. Relaxed atmosphere and nice outside courtyard.
My best friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the St Regis for her birthday. From the moment we were escorted out of the car, we were treated like royalty. I can't remember everyone's name so I'll just say all of the staff were true professionals and executed their roles in sheer perfection ! From the lobby ,...
The St. Regis Atlanta is quite possibly one of the most opulent hotels in Atlanta. The rooms are very posh and come with all of the technology you would need to enhance your stay, such as an Ipod dock and mirror televisions. The butler service is also a nice touch. (Be sure to ask for Ryan as your butler.) The pool deck is perhaps my favorite amenity at the St. Regis. In addition to the pool side service and outdoor restaurant, just up the stairs, there is a large grassy area that is perfect for tanning or just laying out for an afternoon read. Finally, the hotel car service operates pretty late into the night. Parking is a bit pricey, but you can always park at one of the self park lots across the street if you would like. Whether you are visiting from out of town or just enjoying an Atlanta staycation with some friends, the St. Regis has everything you'll need to have a stellar visit.
I've attended a fundraising event with Big Brothers Big Sisters twice now at this location. Each time I've had a great experience! Beautiful hotel with great service and acomidations for large special events.
Best hotel in Atlanta! Impeccable service. Recent room renovations are fantastic!
We had drinks for new year's Eve. They were really good and they also have out champagne just before new year's. Some of the bars were a little crowded but if you look for one you can find one that's got some space.
The St. Regis is #1 one for a reason. The hotel itself is well represented along with an incredible staff. Tiffany & Kia, specifically, we re absolutely amazing. You talk about some serious guest service, these two were a fine of example of that. Tiffany & Kia were both extremely attentive, polite, and extremely generous. They took care of my wife and I real well while we enjoyed lunch & live music that night at the St Regis. I hope some truly reads this review whoever is over them because it is notable that they love what they do & they do it well. Work ethic of a champion, and mind of an executive. That s how wonderful they both were.
Fabulous Hotel, next time I hope to get to take a bath in the gorgeous tub!
It is worth the spurlge. Great service and the rooms are comfortable.
I just called the lobby and I spoke to simply the rudest hotel clerk I've ever come across. I realize that this is consider to be a luxury hotel but that does not give its employees the right to talk down on the guests.
Hosted business clients for lunch and breakfast-The hostess couldn t find our reservation at lunch OR breakfast and that was after being reminded at breakfast about the lunch reservation.
At both meals, the service was slow and unsure. Great ambiance but the service was substandard and not at all what you would expect of the St. Regis.
Impeccable, bespoke and genuinely friendly service in luxurious ambiance. Truly a pleasure one needs to experience.
Accommodations were modern and elegant, common areas and ammenities were well maintained and nicely decorated for the holidays. Bars and restaurants were excellent. All of those areas I'd rate a 5. The staff was a zero. I was made to feel more welcome at the Residence Inn Downtown Chicago, which is a fine hotel itself, but you book the St. Regis for a reason, and part of that is the service.
The check-in was terrible, zero communication or welcome to the hotel. Excuse, I used mobile check-in and that prevented the staff from giving me a welcome speech. After getting keys, I was told my bags would be in the room. I called for my bags for over an hour without delivery. When I finally met the bellman in the hallway with them, he feigned responsibility and said someone just called for them 5 minutes ago. Another excuse. Just once, I wanted the first thing out of someone's mouth something other than an excuse. Valets couldn't find my car, until I finally went back to the deck to look with them.
Everyone seemed uncoordinated and apathetic. I won't say I'll never return, but I'll wait long enough until there's a complete staff turnover and attitude change.
We had a delicious brunch and have been here a few times for brunch and lunch. We look forward to our visit every time. It's a fun and fancy place to try new things as the menu changes every so often. Very attentive staff. And very accommodating kitchen stuff. They want to make sure you are happy!
Doesn't represent St Regis well in or out of the hotel. He is reason enough to not stay here.
Nice luxury hotel. Clean, great bathroom products, large soaking tub, cool light switch and master room control.
Very impressive banquet space, with great care taken at every turn.
A favorite Christmas tradition for our family. Elegant & special
Food staff, valet door persons pleasant and beyond helpful!
