Sadtimes, this restaurant was the best in town but the bother has taken over and no more charity work (all for profit), the food shows. Service is fantastic though! Hope the staff try and save it

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Edinburgh, I go every time. The food is amazing with a wide range of choices to please anyone's tastes. The drinks that are on offer again are great and plentiful. Location and atmosphere are brilliant and the staff are always amazing. I can easily recommend here for food drinks, or just somewhere to get a milkshake and chill out.

Staff were lovely and knew everything on the food and drinks menu. The burgers tasted fresh and were nice and hot. The onion rings were honestly the best I've ever had. They were a little greasy but each table is supplied with kitchen roll so j just let then sit on there whilst I demolished my burger. I was on a weekend away to Edinburgh but I'd 100% come back here on my next visit up north

I tried booking a table before going with no luck but didn't give up that easily, I managed to nab a table as a walk in, and glad I did. Lovely service, efficient safety measures and great food. I'm a vegan and ordered the fluid burger. I actually asked that it be double checked that it was vegan because it tasted THAT meaty. Amazing. Good enough for carnivores and herbivores alike. Lovely place and well worth a visit

Being a man on the wrong side of thirty, I struggle to find a place I like to drown my sorrows. The Groty metal bars are on their way out and are stuck musically in 2001, and most coctail bars surroundings take pretension to an uncomfortable level. Now the bozy cow is my ideal comfort zone. Interior reminds me of the primal scream album "evil heat" which was a fantastic start. They had guardians of the galaxy in the telly box, another rare treat and to cap it off the cocktails are spot on. First visit, my wife and I hammered through a comfortable portion of the coctail list. My self favouring the watermelon moo tai, splended, and the wife torn between thier version of the bloody Mary and the moobery muffin. Bar staff were epic. Friendly, charismatic and can whip up a mean cocktail . Even got a new metal band to listen too from spying the bar man's t shirt. The music in here sets the mood for an old timer like my self. Walked into a bit of Steve Winwood, nice... real nice and was serenaded with other classic such Toto, lulu, Mr Mr. Absolutely delighted as my other half and I can't stand each other's music, as she likes that mumble nonsense. But here, this was something we both could enjoy.
We returned with four friends this Sunday, and once again plowed through the coctail list with zero regard for our liver's or of our impeding work the next again day. A riotous time had. Even a cheeky dance to Cher. Tremendous. Everyone singing the praises of the establishment and the bar staff. Another added bonus is, I'd say we were the oldest people there by 10 years and didn't even notice, with my graying mane, I feel more aware of my age as I'm out and about. Not here. You can full embellish your Peter Pan syndrome to it's full extent.
Think it's pretty obvious I love this place, and if you don't too? What's wrong with you?
Keep up the exceptional work.

A curious place to have a beer.
Very punk.
If you are not going to eat, you have to order a drink at the bar.
What surprised me a lot is that it was 1 in the afternoon, and there were only seniors.
My visit was in mid-September.
I leave it there.

Great place that we found by accident, had two 'Lady Garden' cocktails that were very nice but a little over sweet for our taste. The staff were very friendly and we returned again a few days later and had some food, all of it was delicious and we tried more cocktails including their alcoholic milkshakes that were delicious also.

Great staff, great friendly and non fussed service, varied selection for all drinkers. Settled on harviestoun old engine oil(super slick) and makers. Couldn't rate the service and staff any higher. Keep it up :-)

This is one of the coolest bars I've been to. The decor is awesome and I spent as much time wandering around reading the walls as i did talking to my friends.
The cocktail menu is extensive, fun and absolutely delicious. On top of that the prices were very reasonable.
Would totally recommend this place to others.

The Boozy cow is an experiance, Amazing cocktails followed by an Astonishing meal!! The burger was unforgettable with a good size and no lack of meat and veg regretabilly no side fires as is so common these days. The 'at additional cost' fries upgraded to chilli cheese were amazing the chilli wasnt weak as alot of places make it but not quite the best or hottest in town (latter is good). The decor is very diffrent to the surroundings in the Edinburgh New Town but is welcoming and a fun if uncomfortable enviroment if you like to sit at the table.... overall an impressive place that I will visit time and time again.

P.S I have no problem with paying for a side of chilli fries however a handful of fries to garnish the burger would go a long way.

As the name suggests thus place is great for a burger and a drink. The food portions are ample and the cocktails are amazing. Not cheap though, so be prepared to spend a bit of money.

The wife was keen to attend to her meaty needs after a week long attempt at veganism, I maintained my animal free ways and opted for a move mountains burger, it was rather good. The wife had a philly steak somethingorother, it looked immense and she delighted in the meaty goodness, very nice selection of full fat fully alcohilised drinks, nice calm atmosphere, great staff and menu, loose 1 star for the poor selection of AF options and how dark it is, what's with the darkness???

Funky wee place with different alcohol types than the usual in the area. Did get lost on the way out the toilets due to the mass art work on doors and walls. Great atmosphere though and friendly staff.

The food here was an absolute joy to eat. We ordered the Haggis Pops (which came with an AMAZING whisky and brown sauce), Chilli Fries and the Buttet me Up burger. Would definitely recommend as the flavours were fantastic

Based on the review score on Google this place is supposed to be one of the better Burger joints in Edinburgh. Well, it's not, if you ask me. Red hot chilli burgers are not hot, nor do they have any other taste. The regular chips are good, but the cheese skinnies (chips) are just completely covered in a cheese-ish semi-lquid stuff, it was too greasy and fat to eat. The place is not clean, everything is sticky and I'm not even going to mention the toilets. I get the feeling this place is popular with teenagers that don't mind all this, but this is not at all a cheap place, so I'm surprised they still run this business successfully.

Epic diner, loud live music super accepted. Really tasty burgers, which explodes in your mouth like a bomb when you bite it! Fries not included. Just cause they are huge and offer a lot of various types of sides. Mega cocktail, with strange glasses and combination of tastes.
Go on guys!
Sincerely,
From Italy!
