Day out in Edinburgh supporting adults with issues .. Staff were very rude & abrupt to our party of 8 .. Came across that our custom wasnt welcome.. After eventually ordering our food & drinks it took over 40 minutes to be served ..Cant say we'll be going back

Great bustling atmosphere with good vibe and quirky interiors. Staff were really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Super choice of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails as well as alcohol-free drinks such as shakes. Food was tasty, great value for money and came out quickly. So glad we came here under recommendation and would definitely recommend onto someone else!

Came here with family for a quick drink, the cocktails are fantastic and the staff are very friendly. There are many steps to get in and out of the main entrance and I didn't see any other entrances.

The decor is nice but I am not a fan of high tables and not backrest, I didn't see any normal tables but they have had some in another area.

I would really like to come back and try the food, the place looks great and imagin the good is also good.

First time visit to The Boozy Cow and the burgers ...

First time visit to The Boozy Cow and the burgers were delicious, especially my cheese burger. We got a side of fries and onion rings and while the fries were perfect I didn't enjoy the rings that much because ai found them a bit to battered (personal choice). The venue is quite cool too and good for some casual after work good and drinks.

Top place, great spot for fireworks, classy atittude (they helped me charge my ph to reconnect with my other party as we got separated by the massive crowds). Lush cocktails (my fav pink angel) and a legend DJ, a young man by the name of Christopher. Thank you Boozy Cow you saved my Hogmanay.

Good wee place to stop off for the most sugar filled cocktail you'll ever have! Genuinely every cocktail I've had there is bitter with sweetness, the major perk is that all the staff are gorgeous!

As our lovely waitress said: "If you're looking for a healthy bite, you came to the wrong place"! Then, if you want really good burgers, great service (as I said, really nice waitress, super caring!) and even better fries, check this place! And, BTW, the pub itself is LIT: loved the whole grunge/rock/underground furniture and painting, a nice take on an American influence!

The staff is nice, the drinks are dope and the food.. holy... effin... cow... that was soooo goood! even tho we we're 8 in total and had to give 10% extra for service I was glad to do it! Even tipped extra afterwards! Bonus star for the atmosphere and the constant flow of marvel-flicks, loved it!

11/10 from this Swede! Just go there and be amazed!

Great atmosphere and music, drinks menu is extensive and tasty. Staff were attentive and service overall was quite fast. Both burgers we ordered looked good and tasted good except for the buns themselves which seemed to be a little stale, which in itself is probably a result of it being Boxing Day, I hope this isn t their norm. Overall it s more than just a pub.

Worst burger in town! meat was really really overcooked and bread was massive (they funny thing is they call brioche to the bun... well, it is not, it is the opposite to the brioche).
At least the staff was nice.

We had a really disappointing experience here when it came to food service on a Saturday night, we waited almost an hour to order food - fair enough, the kitchen was busy and the lovely chef came to apologise! But then we waited another hour for our food to be prepared and when the order came, it was totally wrong. Rather than wait again we just accepted it and were told we'd get discount off our bill.

We asked for cutlery and our waitress promised to bring some, but seemed more concerned with flirting with the table of men behind us rather than doing her job and looking after other customers. Her service was pretty poor, which was a shame as the other (male) waiters who served us were both very helpful and nice.

Ordered take away from a very nice lady, a bit confusing about dip-sauces since you got to pick from existing dishes dips, not a dip-menu! Then they only had small bags so had to carry 6 small bags home, which was kind of clunky with all the Edinburgh wind! The two dips we ordered was nowhere to be found however, which was kind of disappointing.. BUT; The food was great! For the price we got amazingly tasting food, and we were all happy!

So a four, minus for clunky carrying and missed dips, but big plus for a nice waiter and great food!

First, they have a lot of table space so in a pinch you can grab a bite, even on busy nights. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the kitchen was pretty quick. Sadly, the burgers were the weak link: a little dry, not well put together. The sides were great though, especially the skinny fries and halloumi!
