We have been here about 5x and will continue to come because it s such a wonderful escape! The beach is beautiful, the resort has wonderful accommodations, the pools, the food, everything is great! No complaints here

Poolside rooms are subject to loud voices of workers at the pool each morning at 7 am! The pillows are TERRIBLE! The rooms are musty and over carpet freshed! It s old and dated and they make you rent the dilapidated chairs on the beach! Pitiful

We stay at Tween Waters mainly for the pool area - love this place and the staff is awesome. Their beach is across the road from rooms, but this is typical for this area. Really nice beach, quiet. Pool Bar is lively and Crow's nest stays busy on weekends.

We went up to have lunch and drinks with friends of ours that are staying there. Spending money at their pool bar for lunch and drinks. We get back to the vehicle they are threatening to tow us because we do not have a pass. We will not go back!! and we will tell all of our friends Very badd experience do not go there!!!@

We celebrated our 10th Anniversary here. We stayed in the Sea Grape building on the 3rd floor. Our room faced the Gulf. Room was very clean and did not have any musty scent. Both restaurants are really good! Crows nest is very casual and Captiva house is a little more upscale but dress can be casual. You are on an island so they dont discriminate on clothing. Nick was our server at the pool and he was awesome! We rented a cabana which was a huge help with shade. They do have umbrellas but we wanted to splurge since it was our anniversary. The only downside is there is no nightlife on the island. Everything seems to close by 10pm. We had such a nice time and we will be coming back!

Excellent place very relaxing vacation destination for the active or sedentary vacationer. Most restaurants are very close and even can be walked to, the beach is very good, and the water sports are great.

Definitely some construction occurring but that was reflected in the reduced price. A little understaffed for the summer, but that was reflected in the price. Limited restaurant options, but, well, you know....

A lot of great family memories made here. This is an "Old Florida" resort which is what we like about it rather than the generic high rise resorts on the mainland. I have been coming to Sanibel-Captiva since the 1950's (pre-causeway era) and have seen a lot of changes on the island but 'Tween Waters does as good a job as any in preserving the "Old Florida" feel but still providing some modern amenities. The inn is uniquely located in a narrow stretch of the island giving close access to the gulf with its beach fun and the bay waters and its fishing and exploration opportunities.

Always a great spot. We dock at Captiva island yacht club and then have do recreation at twin waters. Great pool good bar service, good food and they are actually in the hospitality business unlike many other destinations.

While pricey the views are worth it. The cottages are delightful and the screened in porches are key. For a lesser cost the hotel is close to the two beautiful pools. You are within walking distance of the goegeous Gulf. Shelling there is superb and so is the sunset.

They're very spendy for what you get in accomodations. The rooms and cabins are old. The best thing about it is the beach is right across the road. Our daughter had her wedding there and it was $1500, nonrefundable, for a 10 minute ceremony on the beach. She could've had it somewhere else for much cheaper.

We had a fabulous stay. We stayed in the newly renovated suites. The pool was nice. The island itself is wonderful. Make sure to use the bikes and ride down to end of Captiva. Fun to explore all over and see all the huge houses and landscape. This was our first time and I look forward to a return trip!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Clean and comfortable room. Tons to do. Great food. Perfect Thanksgiving and birthday weekend. Planning on making this an annual trip. Loved the tree lighting and fireworks. Beautiful beach and marina. Saw a manatee from the marina dock. Strongly recommend this vacation destination.

Gorgeous beachfront! My bf and I come to Tween Waters every year during our FL trip and stay in a beach-facing room at the Sea Grape building for a couple days. The staff are courteous, the rooms are lovely, and the view rocks! Parking leaves something to be desired, and the Captive House restaraunt isn't worth wasting a meal at with so many better places on Sanibel.

This is a very nice resort from the rooms to the restaurants... Alot of things to do they do group events everything from beautiful beach weddings to reunions to corporate outings... Their big enough to do it right but small enough to still have a personal touch....

They used to charge $25 to dock and that fee went toward food/beverages. Not anymore. They now charge $50 and it doesn t include anything. Staff at the pool was great. The woman at the dock, though, made everyone in our party feel unwelcome and is the reason we won t be back.

We stayed at Tween Waters Inn and had a very nice stay. The bartenders and waiters were very good as well as the food. It was nice to meet Tony at the cocktail party one evening. And he was very kind to offer us a $50 voucher to use on the property for food or drinks due to the Constuction going on below and next to our room. I would recommend Tween Waters over any corporate hotel. Hope to make it back someday

For what was arranged early, wasn't what we were told when we arrived there. Kitchen didn't match the rest of the room. Bathroom, bedroom, living area and balcony we're good. Had to keep complaining about people parking in our spots.

Booked a room package for four nights that came with a $50 gift card towards restaurants. Problem was nobody told us that the restaurants are closed for remodeling until we checked in. In addition to that the construction crews were tying up a lot of the resort space and one day we had the pleasure of listening to a generator most of the day. Discussed this with staff on our way out and response was sorry you had a bad experience.

I spent six days at the resort with my family during the third week of February. We stayed in a delightful old cottage that was everything I imagined that a beach cottage would be. We loved the inn and enjoyed the amenities. The staff was very attentive, the maid service outstanding, and everyone was warm and welcoming. My mom had been to Captiva several times before, but for the rest of us, this was our first visit to the Gulf Coast of Florida. We were thrilled to find that Captiva is an unspoiled treasure, despite it's popularity with winter snowbirds. I can't wait to come back and stay for more than six days.

We found this resort while staying at another and came for the water sports. This resort is incredible. The attention was unbelievable. At the restaurant "Crows nest" Brenda and micheal were ontop of everything.. the food was amazing. We stayed in a king size one bedroom and it was great. Very clean and the house keeping was outstanding. Will be coming back in December.

We visited Tweens Waters and had dinner and drinks at the Captiva House restaurant. Our table had a view of the gorgeous sunset and the fresh seafood and house wine were perfect together. Walking on the beach after dark was beautiful too (mind your step for the turtle nests) and so quiet. We will definitely be back to Captiva and Tweens Waters

You can't beat the gulfside view and sunsets. Had a pleasant visit; however you weren't able to use your card for purchases. You had to put them on your room. Which makes no sense; since when you check out tbe charge your card. One suggestion I would make would be training in customer service. 90% of the staff are unapproachable. You felt like you were a bother when asking questions or trying to get service. Did not have a positive resort feel.
