WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER! I wanted to get acrylics and when I came for my appointment they said that they don t have the tools for that but guess what, I ended up paying full price! They couldn t even room hard gel from my nails. Do not recommend, just don t waist your time and money.
Not really my cup of tea as I'm not a massage/fancy spa person but the staff was so friendly. The place is spotless and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Worth the money spent but expensive. Makes for a great gift.

The Spa at the Del Monte is my go to place for a relaxing day of a hot stone massage as well as just basking in the relaxation of the spa itself. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating.

Stephanie always does an amazing job. After an hour in her chair, I feel relaxed and very happy with the outcome of my cut and color. She always creates a cut that frames my face well, and color that plays with my naturals highlights. Would highly recommend both Steph and Del Monte Spa.
After reading a few of the comments above, I wanted to write a review as I think the Spa at Del Monte is AMAZING. First, their gift cards NEVER expire... I buy them off craigslist all the time and have confirmed it on numerous occasions. Second, if you make a spa appointment ~ even a pedicure or something simple, use their showers. They are the BEST... I normally will shower before any spa appointment AND after and then can relax and get ready in their beautiful area. It makes the spa experience last longer and make you feel like you are really getting away from it all. I was there on Saturday with my Aunt and we had the best massages, relaxed and just had the best experience. I have always had a wonderful experience at the Spa at Del Monte, do not work there or know anyone that works there and am always telling people to go there ~ it's just wonderful!! I'm one of those people who usually only puts good reviews online or inflates them a bit because I feel bad otherwise.
I've been here for a pedicure and again for a manicure. The service is underwhelming and I was expecting a lot more for the price. The manicure itself was sadly the worst I've had and began chipping off within 24 hours.
I will be looking to spend my money at a more worthy establishment with better service in the future.
Nice interior but thats about it. I went today to have a massage, my massage therapist I can't remember her name but she looked like ms trunchbull from matilda. The massage fell very short. The bed wasn't warm, the hot stones weren't hot, she barely worked on my middle back that I said needed work and didn't offer me anything to drink after.

My daughter and I go together for Mother /daughter time and always feel wonderful after out appointment. The massages are unbelievable- calm, quiet, peaceful. The spa is elegant and comfortable. Would highly recommend this spa for all to try!!
I have been going to the DelMonte Spa for several years...every two weeks for a manicure. Have also experienced their facials and massages. The staff is excellent! Melissa gives a wonderful manicure and pedicure, and every facialist I've had was great. Only had one bad massage, and the therapist is no longer there! The receptionists are thoughtful and accommodating. The atmosphere is very relaxing and all in all a beautiful experience!

As I walked into the Delmonte Spa I was greeted by two friendly (yet professional) and pleasantly welcoming receptionists. I was led back into the spa area as the receptionist showed me around and explained all the accommodations. I had a half an hour to slip into a robe, drink a cup of hot tea, sit back in the beautiful relaxing setting and await my esthetician to come out and lead me back into the treatment room.
The esthetician did not begin my treatment until 16 minutes after my actual appointment time. I d gotten the $210 80 minute ULTRALUXE CUSTOM facial. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the facial that I d gotten from this particular esthetician; she was a nice woman but not a good esthetician. I felt that she ment well but her lack of proper etiquette made me feel uncomfortable. I am still baffled as to how this woman has worked as an esthetician and at the Dellmonte Lodge for 14 years yet was so unskilled. Truthfully, I kept thinking to myself: when is this going to be over? , that s how horrible the facial treatment was. None the less, I d left her a fairly generous tip despite how unhappy I was with her service.
Because of the experience I had, I will most certainly not be returning for any future services at the Delmonte lodge.
I ve booked with spa del monte twice and my experience has been nothing but wonderful I got a massasge the first time was the deep tissue and second was the renewal.. the atmosphere is so relaxing and staff are sweet and calming .. expensive I might say but well worth the money .. I sure will be returning and making this a regular thing for me

I arranged to have a "Spa day" for my Mother's Birthday. Not only did they totally forget the add on service to her pedicure, but they tried to sell her product she did NOT want and automatically rang it up. She said she did not want the product and they said okay and I was charged for it anyway!! An extra $60 on my card that I did NOT want. I will never go back to this place and I am so discouraged by their lack of service.
I cannot thank my family, friends and the staff at Spa at the Del Monte enough for my day of pampering! I received the Celebrating Maternity package and added a manicure. It was truly an experience and I left feeling more relaxed, smooth and clean than ever before. Starting with the massage was great. She was so thorough and made sure I was comfortable in every position. It completely relaxed me for the remainder of my services. The facial (which was my 1st) was definitely the best part. Kellie s hands were like magic and she catered the facial to my areas of concern. All the products felt wonderful and smelled even better! It felt like I left with a new face. The mani and pedi were great endings with a very personable staff member. The sanctuary was also a highlight, making transition from one service to the next smooth and relaxing as well. I would highly recommend this package and this business to anyone looking for spa services! Perfection.

The reason for only 2 stars is the somewhat newly designed space. The area between the pedi chairs are so close and awkward to maneuver and slippery even with assistance from the nail tech provider.
I will not return for that reason. I will miss Liz!
My wife and I had a getaway weekend at the Del Monte and we had side by side restoration massages! The staff was terrific from the start until the finish.....we left feeling very relaxed and will definitely do this again!!
Service over the phone is the worst I waited more tha 15 min and it kept repeating the dame thing and when finally someone answered the hung up on me
The person to see for pedicures is Donald - he is one of the only ones in the area that does Europedi's which are so much easier on your feet. I have been following him for 15 years....yep that is how good he is.
Lindsey was wonderful. Teachers- treat yourselves. She got rid of typing tension in my neck and shoulders. All COVID protocols were followed and facility was clean.

I went there for a French mani and pedi. I was expecting a great work since I know their price aren't the lowest. The girl who did my pedi wasn't nice when I told her he line of my pedi was too tick. And the lady who did my mani was very nice person but didn't do a good job. I was honestly expecting an amazing French pedi and mani. Definitely not going back. My French mani looks like it was made by a 6 years old girl. Not joking. Very very disappointed
This was my second time that I have been to the Spa @ Del Monte. I rec'd a gift certificate for a gift and I go on my birthday. I am a person that takes care of everyone else but myself. I can't tell you how relaxed I am when I there. The serenity....... is s needed. It's clean and so elegant and warm. The staff are all very nice. Each time that I did go my person was friendly and good at their job. The Hydro bath is awesome and the wraps are just divine. I felt rejuvenated.
I love it here! The staff is always welcoming and the massages are the best. I treat myself to a Hot Stone massage at least once a year and love it!

I have had nothing but the best experiences at the Spa. The staff is extremely professional with only your comfort in mind. Tiffany gives the best manicures and pedicures while Bonnie and Naomi are terrific hair stylists. The rest of the staff is also great. I feel as though I have known them all for years. I moved to Pittsford from Chicago a year ago and felt so welcome at the Spa and fit right in. You cannot go wrong here.
Enjoyed my visit today! Overall good. It was a bit crowded at the end of the day as the shower and locker areas are really only meant to handle a few people at a time not the huge end of day rush. They also never followed up with me at the end of one of my services. It took away from what had otherwise been a positive experience.
I went yesterday for a spa day of my choosing, and let me tell you how mad I am. Mad at myself for not doing this sooner! What an incredible experience. Starting out the the entrance to the spa wasn t open when I was told to check in, so I walked around to the hotel entrance, which was fine, a tiny bit annoying since I was a little nervous for my day. Once I got to the spa the girl who checked me in was really nice and gave me a tour since it was my first trip to the spa. It was better than what I imagined, as I ve heard a lot about this spa from friends and family. The locker room made me feel like I was in grade school again, changing in front of other woman, a little uncomfortable for myself, but I got over it and relaxed into my robe and slippers and began to unwind and ready for my salt scrub, massage and facial. I was there all day, and loved every moment of it. Audrey and Brianna are great, I would recommend them for sure. My skin has never felt so soft and smooth. Can t wait to book my next appointment.
Not great....spa looks beautiful at first glance, but customer service is horrible. I get weekly treatments and I have tried every spa in rochester, but I've never encountered so much opposition and attitude from reception (and over the phone). I have zero issues with being charged for cancellations but I also have zero tolerance for being spoken to and treated to miserably. Everyone seems angry, and I keep a smile glued to my face! Pretty shocking
I went in here last week with a friend and they were amazing!! The sanctuary wasn t even open and I can t imagine how much better it would ve been with that being available. I had an hour long massage which felt great and relieved a lot of pain and tension. I had a ton of energy afterwards and felt awesome! They accommodated me 20 weeks pregnant and the woman was so friendly. Also got a few products and they were all quality. I can t wait to go back.
I really wanted to like this place and excited to try a new spa. Overall service was disappointing. After booking an 80 minute massage (which would of used up my gift card perfectly) I was told by my massage therapist that she only had me booked for 50 minutes and did not have time to do an 80 minute massage and that I could cancel and come back another day. After doing all the "spa formalities"...robing, slippers, refreshments etc. it seemed silly to get dressed and leave so I gave in.
My massage therapist then excused herself so that she could tell management that my booking was made incorrectly. However, the clock was ticking and this really could of been handled later. When she returned, my "relaxing" massage began with a chat about how the booking and billing were going to be adjusted and they were going to look into who worked the day my service was booked and find out who mishandled the booking and on and on. Definitely too much information. People make mistakes. Now I felt like I was getting someone in trouble.
Upon checkout I noticed a big party in the sitting area which made me wonder if the time adjustment on my booking was actually a "mistake". I mentioned my name and reminded the receptionist of the issue with my booking. He had no idea what I was referring to apologized and then said he could give me 10% off for the mistake.
In conclusion, I left the spa annoyed and frustrated, wondering why was time taken from my appointment to discuss a discrepancy with booking when I had to discuss it again upon checkout. Definitely not impressed or up to par with other spa services I have received.

I got a spa pedicure at Del Monte earlier this week and had a wonderful experience. My feet feel brand new and I appreciated getting to sit back and relax with a cup of tea and some fruit.
This is my second experience having a pedicure with Elisabeth. She is professional, kind and offers a relaxing pedicure experience. The precautions the spa has taken to ensure their guests feel safe is very much appreciated. This was my first time going to the spa and I had a great experience.
The food is good, but the prices are insane.
Also, the speed bumps are so aggressive that if you drive over them in a 2005 BMW M3 with Moton double-adjustable coilovers, you will rip off your rear bumper and exhaust in the parking lot and slackjawed locals will stare at you while you ruin your suit trying to repair it, or at least pull it apart so you can throw it in the back of a pickup truck.
Went for a pedicure... The most expensive for the least you can get. The place is beautiful but the quality lack luster. I get so much more with my regular spa for a lot cheaper and they even give a 5 minute neck massage after the pedi. Like many warned me "its only name". It wasnt even relaxing =/ I had such high expectations for a special day and i wanted to cry after what i paid for such a low return. Yup, wont be back!

When I walk through the doors, I begin my escape from the real world and enjoy some of the most relaxing and enjoyable services ever! My favorite is the massage; but I have also enjoyed Pedi's, mani's and facials there. All were wonderful!!!
The receptionist was welcoming. Offered me coffee or tea, checked my coat.
The technician doing my pedicure was about 15 mins late. She made me feel a bit rushed in picking out a color polish. She made me feel bad for having worn socks and boots to a pedicure, even though we had 6+ inches of snow out in their parking lot. ( I sat for well over an hour to let my nails dry).
She was impossible to make conversation with, giving 1 word answers to most of my questions or comments. Although she was gabbing with other nail technician, and their clients.
I noticed other clients were having cocktails and desserts. I was never asked if I'd like to order something.
When given my change , all in 20 dollar bills, it was a 'big to do' to break a $20. They had to piece together singles from 3 different registers. I guess they want to make sure all tips are a minimum of $20.00 :(

The Del Monte staff is very professional. This was my first experience. I had a hot stone massage. I enjoyed it but I really needed a regular massage to relieve tension in my shoulders. My therapist was very nice. This was a lighter type of massage, so if you are looking for something more vigorous this is not the massage for you.
I am a regular client at The Del Monte Spa. It is always a very positive experience. Elizabeth is my manicurist @ she is awesome.
My massage and the hydrobath therapy services I received were awesome. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was so crowded. The locker/changing area is small and the guests were literally bumping into each other.
This place is awful. I had a massage booked and I called to cancel... I even sent an email because no one was answering the phone. With a detailed message and a detailed email They still charged me for a full massage. I will never recommend and I will never go back here.

Good golly, what an updo! Got compliments on it all night. It was funky yet elegant, as I requested, and very comfortable for the entirety of the gala I attended. My makeup was also well-done!
Beautiful experience. Scrub and massage was excellent. If you are looking for a quiet experience however, don't get a Mani or pedi. You need to go out in the public area in your robe and it is very bright and loud. Employees were very caring, knowledgeable and calm. Very expensive but well worth it if you can save or receive a gift card.

After reading some of the reviews here I had to post. The Del Monte has been nothing but perfectly pleasurable on each of my many visits. Not only do you get the full experience of being totally pampered, but each service I've selected has been extraordinary. From the time you enter the spa to stumbling your very relaxed body out its nothing but above par service.
This was my second trip to the Del Monte. I live out of State and my sister and I have planned massages or facials at the Spa. I loved my massage. Beth is the best. Over all my experience has been great! I hope to see ya'll next summer!

There wasn't anything special about the hot stone massage. If you are going to pay that amount of money, you are better off going to Mirabeau Spa.

Tonight was my first time getting a facial and Jeannine was fantastic! We had such a lovely conversation throughout the appointment, while also remaining soothing and professional. She gave me great advice regarding the health of my skin that is in my price range, without making me feel like I needed to purchase overly-expensive products. My skin feels fresh, clean, and beautiful. I will definitely be returning and requesting her as my esthetician. Thank you for a well needed spa night! Regarding COVID precautions, I surprisingly felt safe, assuming that getting a facial would make me feel exposed and vulnerable.
Lindsay performed an healing type of deep tissue massage. I was amazed that she identified three persistent tight areas. Besides feeling like I got a new body, I got tips for stretching these problem areas.

Jade gave me the most amazing deep tissue massage. I can't wait to make my next appt with her. My lower back and sciatica issues were greatly improved after this treatment.
Our stay at the hotel and day at the spa were lackluster to say the least. I'm giving a honest review to save another couple the trouble to bother booking here. Our room was dirty from the start. There was dust on surfaces and also hair all over the bathroom especially the shower. There was also hair on the bed that was not ours. We used our own blankets for sleeping. One of there staff walked into our room while me and my wife were changing for dinner. They didn't even apologize, they just rushed out as fast as humanly possible. When I told the front desk of this issue they could have cared less. I was frankly inraged over this. The Second night of our stay our room was barely cleaned and a tip was left for the room. By this point me and my wife wonderd why we bothered booking here especially for the price per night. The food at there restaurant was very good and the service there was excellent. Our massages at the spa were also sub pare, though the two massage therapist were very accommodating. My wife actually left in pain from her massage rather than felt relaxed. She also is new to professional massages. All in all we regretted our stay there and won't be booking there again. The service frankly sucked and the atmoshpehere was very snobby to say the least. High prices for sub pare severive is how me and my wife felt.

Had a renewal massage and I felt great after. I worked with Lindsey and applied a lot of pressure to my trouble areas in my back. It hurt a lot at times but it was very much worth it. The showers are amazing here too. They have so many jets and the pressure is great. Will definitely be back
