The Spa at the Del Monte Review

Purchased a gift card for my wife s birthday. She thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing massage.

Once you've had a massage at the Del Monte Spa you will NEVER go anywhere else! The Sanctuary is pristine. They recommend you get there at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment and believe me you want to get there early! The amenities, showers and sauna are top notch. I've never had a bad massage therapist either. You can tell that the Del Monte only hires the best!

Did not really looooove my service here. However, a week prior to I went to the Spa at la Bella a little closer then delmonte and it was so awful I am giving this place a good review just to stir people away from competitors. Del monte is hands down better then Spa at La Bella in penfield. I also really enjoy going to woodcliff. Anywhere but Spa at La bella I will take. DO NOT go to Spa at la Bella. It's not worth the money, time, or energy.

I have been trying to book a massage since last July when I received a gift card as a birthday present. When I have requested a day fitting best with my work schedule I have always been told they are booked fully. This has been an issue since I ve attempted to book for over 6 months. Why show available times and days when they truly aren t open for booking? I will look to regift they gift card to someone else. 12/10 do NOT recommend. Beyond poor customer service.

Just a terrible experience. Got a 75$ pedi and now my feet itch almost always.

I received a gift card about 18 months ago and just had the opportunity to use it! I was very excited about getting a massage and it was my first time there. I loved it. It wasn't rushed, the sauna and showers were great, overall a nice relaxed atmosphere. In addition to being well appointed, the staff was friendly and polite. I would recommend this and will visit them again!

I have purchased a nice gift card for my wife to enjoy her self at what I was thinking is one of the best spa facilities in town. Well, it looks that spa at Delmont has the look but not so mach of quality service .
My wife decided to have hair cut, pedicure and facial massage. It ended up bad hair cut was one from hell: not even close to what was requested nail technician managed to scratch my fife finger open (and did not even apologize)...A fear service was given to her only from the esthetician (maybe because my wife has mentioned that she is a certified esthetician too). An event supposed to be a pleasurable turned in deep disappointment

Went last night for a pedicure, BEST one I have ever had !!! It was amazing-staff was fun and personable to chat with :) Highly recommend.

I had a 80 minute massage which was okay. The woman was more interested in stretching me than massage which kind of hurt. I then had a 80 minute pedicure that was only 60 minutes. My heals were still rough and my polish was chipped by the next day. I contacted the spa and no one ever got back to me. This place is too much money for what you receive.

Wonderfully relaxing! Amazing facial and I can't wait to go back!

I have visited the Spa At the Del Monte now for several years. Never once have I had a disappointing experience. I always leave feeling like I should do this more often! I receive gift certificates for special occasions and I have become a frequent giver of gift certificates. I mean, who does not love getting pampered in a luxurious, relaxing environment? The fireplace, the comfortable seating, the spa music, the showers, it is definitely the best way to treat yourself and others!

Will never book an appointment with this place again. They are very unaccommodating. My cousins and I booked some packages and something came up the day of and we had to reschedule, which was like pulling teeth because they made it so difficult - which to a certain extent I do understand. Finally, I was able to reschedule, but a death in the family occurred and my cousins and I are no longer able to go that day due to the funeral. I was told that I was not able to cancel even though I gave them a weeks time (plenty more than 24hrs, which is their policy), but I was told that because I rescheduled I couldn t cancel OR reschedule and they would still charge the card on file. They do not have a policy on their website that states this, which they probably should. The only policy is the 24hr cancellation policy. Ridiculous. Will never recommend to others.

Let's start off by saying that you are not just paying for whatever service you're getting (whether it be a facial or a massage or something else), you're paying for the experience of this place. This is an actual spa, not just a waiting room before your treatment. The staff is extremely friendly and great at what they do. I got a gift card for my birthday and they knew that and wished me a happy birthday!

I received a renewal massage with my husband. I opted for just an upper body massage because that's where I felt like I needed it the most. My husband received the full body massage which he was nervous about but ended up loving. The pressure was perfect, the music and aromatherapy was relaxing, and the warm towels they place on your back and feet are freaking heavenly. My husband even agreed! He has an old sports injury in his upper back and they worked on and around it without irritating it.

Let me walk you through this experience. You walk in and check in. They take you to either the women's or the men's side. They set you up with a locker which includes slippers and a bathrobe. You put those on and lock up your belongings. You go to this dimly lit, warmed by a fireplace, quiet, relaxation room for about 30 minutes to unwind before your treatment. Then you get pulled into your massage and go back to this room again afterwards. After all this you get to go to the dry sauna or the massaging showers (there's like 6 shower heads in this thing!!) or you can do both. They let you stay as long as you want afterwards to soak everything up. It's awesome.

Several years ago I was given a gift card to the Spa at the Delmonte. Since that time, I have used many services for myself and for family members. I/we have never had anything but a superb experience. Looking forward to taking my daughter-in-law again in January. A treat to look forward to.

Had a great experience at the Spa and had a hot stone massage. Annually my best friend and I go every year for our birthdays. Loved my masseuse. She was great! I tried someone new this time and will use her again.

Always an amazing experience. Usually do the deep tissue because it relieves the most stress but if you are new to massage do traditional or hot stone.

My daughter and I have been going to the Spa at the Delmonte for years now !!! It s the most wonderful experience and we look forward to it for days !!! We have regular seasonal pedicures every 5 - 6 weeks and have the most relaxing time each and every time we go !!! We are greeted by the most friendly and courteous staff at the front desk. They are so accommodating with our dessert or beverage selection ( included in the pedicure price ) and always go over and beyond to fulfill our choices. My daughter and I have come to love the pedicure technicians !!! They know us by name and ask how our families are or how our recent trips were !!! The newly renovated pedicure area is absolutely beautiful !! They now have side by side chairs, which are brand new !!! We also have had massages and facials which are just as wonderful as the staff !!! Another big plus is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, showers, sauna, makeup area, and locker area. We also love the sanctuary to relax before our services. The complimentary tea, fruited water, and dried fruit always is a special bonus. We are looking forward to our next appointment at The Spa at the Delmonte !!

I have been a client at the Spa At the Del Monte for several years and have always considered it to be a very special experience. I have received gift certificates for special occasions and enjoy every minute I'm there. The best thing to do is to arrive early to make the most of their beautiful waiting area, with fire place, soothing music and comfortable chairs. I love to get a facial once or twice a year and afterwards I use their wonderful shower and other spa amenities to further relax and treat myself. When my best friend visits from NYC she loves to come with me and we have made it our tradition. I'm grateful to have been fortunate enough to be able to do this. Thanks to my husband and to my daughter for the opportunities!

My daughter and I had an excellent experience today. We had pedicures, and the service was outstanding!

I had a wonderful stone massage. The facility was nicely decorated/appointed, modern, clean. Especially loved the shower with all of the water streams. I just felt the treatment was overpriced. I would go elsewhere next time.

Alison did a great job on both my mani and pedi that I got a week apart. I also checked into the hotel and received a massage for a girls night. They really took care of us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I received a gift card from my husband for the Del Monte Salon and I chose to have a facial. The facility itself is just so beautiful, welcoming and relaxing that all your cares just melt away to prepare you for your event. Then Bonnie gave me the most relaxing but very thorough facial plus massage that anyone could ask for. She is the best! If you ever need to destress this is the place!

I really wanted to like this place! My nail technician was SO nice and very friendly and funny, but honestly I was extremely underwhelmed with the quality of work. I made a point to say that there were large gaps between my cuticle and the nail polish, but ultimately, it was ignored. My nails look like it's been two weeks since I've had them done, and for the price, it's really frustrating. I would also say that the pedicure chairs are very comfortable for heavier people. Lastly, when I made my initial appointment, I spoke with a young man about what services are offered for bridal parties and he told me there weren't any, and that it would be a tight fit to have people. Wel, the technician I worked with actually handed me a pamphlet they offer with details for bridal parties...

So, again, the qualities of the mani/pedi I received, and the organization seemed quite underwhelming, but everyone was VERY nice!

AMAZING day at Spa on 10/18. This by FAR is the best spa in or around Rochester, the customer service is TOP NOTCH and unmatched to any other local spa. I enjoyed a full day spa package that began with a massage by Trisha, it was the BEST message I have EVER had, and I get messages regularly from various LMT's in the area, always searching for the perfect massage - well I have now found it! Following the massage was an excellent facial, pedicure, manicure, hairstyle and makeup application. In between we sat in the lovely lounge area, used the awesome showers, had multiple cups of delicious teas, were served fruit skewers, and were treated like princesses by everyone we came in contact with. We did have one snag with timing on the last service and had to wait for an unusual length of time, to appease us we were offered champagne and a fruit and cheeses plate while we waited. If you are searching for relaxation in a beautiful surrounding with A++ service this is the place. Cant wait to return!

I had such a great experience at the Del Monte! Me and my sister and mom went for pedicures!! The wonderful women doing my pedicure did an amazing job and I walked out relaxed and very happy! Thanks for the great experience :)
