This casino is very nice. I was playing bingo there. The staff was very friendly. Bingo is reasonably priced. I just wish there was a separate section for smokers.

Great spot if you have an oversized vehicle. There is a lot right across the street. Rooms are large and comfortable. Good food options.

I can't believe this hotel has a huge horse arena and they had all kinds of cows out back which you can definitely smell and we were kicked out of our room because I had my emotional support 12 pound dog with me. The front desk supervisor was very rude and down right mean about it. I called Ceasar's and they put us in a beautiful pet room at the Paris. #southpointhatesdogs

Busy place a lots of kids look new from the outside old from the inside better off stay at the strip

I love that Vegas has these locals casinos. It's a One-Stop place where you can bowl, have a drink, gamble, eat at a good restaurant, or watch a movie. Also once in a while they got some good events that I go to. There's also a very interesting crowd there since they tend to Target the cowboy demographic.

Great casino.. away from the strip so you will always find tables with low bets..

Endless crab legs and arcade in one stop. Why not. Baby girl loved it. Prizes for days.

Racked up on their slots! South Point is off the busy strip and a great casino/hotel for families. We enjoyed the horse exhibit while the kids watched a movie in the theater. n

Fun area to stay at. Didn't get to use the bowling area but it had everything else we needed.

Great hotel to stay. Room is spacious. Sheets are clean. Towels, carpets, etc, clean. Good value for money... EXCEPT that when you check in, they tell you that you need to pay a COMPULSORY "Resort Fee" of US$21. This is for your WiFi, gym, swimming pool, shuttle to airport, etc, etc !! As if I needed all that !! Go to any hotel without WiFi ??? What a rip-off !! What you pay on the internet is NOT the final cost ... you need to add this US$21 onto it !!

A hidden gem. This hotel has many amenities. From a movie theater, to a bowling alley inside the hotel. If you want a decent hotel off the strip, here is your spot.

To start, I really enjoy South Point. I dare say it's one of my favorites as a local. With that said, in the age of smart phones and apps, this casino will require you to come to the casino to check your club points. There is no website, app, or phone to number to get this information. That is a technological and customer service disappointment. So if convenience of gaming is your style, before going know that something that is as simple as checking loyalty rewards points is not available outside of the casino grounds. Want to use points in consideration of your trip budget? You'll have to guess on your total and play a game of what-ifs with the booking agent that is at the casino. It's going to be 2019 in a couple months -- get it together south point. My godness

My family went bowling here. They also have a movie theatre. I don't gamble.... I hate it! So glad there's other things you can do in Vegas! Very convenient location. Near shopping centers and eateries. The surrounding neighborhoods were very nice as well. The only thing, I smelled a lot of smoke from cigarettes. I thought you couldn't smoke in casinos anymore. Customer service could have been better. The guy turned off bowling alley off due to a mistake of there's. We were almost done and he left before we could talk to him. Good thing. It may have become. a bigger problem.

We had a wonderful time. Great.rooms NO PARKING fee lots of restaurant choices everyone was pleasant. Going back soon

Went there with family to bowl. Huge bowling alley with decent options for food. Pretty cheap bowling rates based on my personal experience.

One of the most comfortable casinos to go to and stay. Close enough to the strip to still enjoy Vegas, but cost affordable.

Clean. Great decor, food available late....at a great price and generous portion size. Quiet rooms. Quick service.

The rooms are modern and the service is over the top helpful. The decor creates a warm yet elegant ambiance. I appreciate that the staff are very friendly and readily available to help anytime. Worth every second!

The room was great and clean. I would have given it 5 stars except I was really bothered by a lot of flying small insects at the casino areas. They were all over me and they re really a nuisance. I hope something has to be done to get rid of them.

This will be the 3rd time that we stay here and we love it. They have good customer service, very clean and reasonable price to stay.
If you are hungry after hours like 2 or 3am the only restaurant open is South Point Coronado Cafe, the service is good but the back of the house (kitchen) needs to improve the food by adding some seasoning to the food. Besides that I recommend it to everybody to stay at the Southpoint Hotel and Casino.

A very nice fairly modern Western themed hotel-casino a few miles South of the Strip. Rodeo style arena under-roof with a large convention/expo area. Free parking even if you're not staying at the hotel. Shuttles and Ubers available. Great resturants are adjacent to the gaming areas. Comfortable and quiet rooms.

Great service but 3 nights in when it rained, our room had a leak and ruined my mom's luggage and clothes. (Still waiting on the hotel to contact us regarding that. 4 days in.) They did offer to move us to another room but it was after midnight and my 1 yr old and sister were already sleep. Because of the group promo that we had, they said they couldn't offer anything else. Most of the restaurants we're good but construction left the buffet to be less than desirable when it came to selection and it wasn't that good either. Oyster bar and Mexican restaurant were awesome. Chinese was great the first night (Thursday), horrible the next night when my entire family wanted it. Pool was amazing. Love that South point had everything for everyone to do from 1yr to 90.

Nice casino with huge bowling alley and Big Sur is a wonderful place to have lunch with a few oysters on the half shell.

South point is my local go to casino. It has everything you would want in a casino. Lots of machines, tables and bars to relax at.. it offers many food choices for every persons tastes. I highly recommend this casino to anyone .

Love this casino!! So much to see and the food in the venues are amazing! We stay with friends at the Grand View, which is next door to the casino. Grand View is a beautiful resort as well.

Had a great time. We were there with our family. Enjoyed that there were things for our 11 yr old to do. Clean rooms, polite staff.

Great hotel and casino. Staff and dealers were friendly, talkative and helpful. Extremely clean and large rooms. Only been to a few restaurants, but service is very prompt. Kid friendly attractiina including, bowling, arcade and movie theater. Great value at a great price.

Ordered the steak and eggs, and expected the $4.95 deal to be a bargain. But I also ordered a cup of coffee and a glass of overly- pulpy orange juice. And the total shot up to almost $15.00

My beef isn't so much the price shock for liquid, but rather the fact that I ordered a medium rare steak and eggs over medium. Now, the steak was over cooked to beyond well-done, and the eggs were over-done and hard. Go figure.

Great clean and welcoming hotel. I was there on business and had my family with me. We enjoyed the burger restaurant there and my wife said the milkshakes from the ice cream shop were the best she has ever had. We were very disappointed in the Asian restaurant. My wife and 4 year old daughter were served raw chicken and we all had upset stomachs after eating there. We will definitely return to stay at the hotel on our next trip to Vegas but we will pass on the Asian restaurant. Come on $96 bill during happy hour with a coupon!

Staying here for work in Vegas. Great room prices. Plenty of things to do and food choices inside the hotel. The staff are friendly and rooms are spacious and clean. When I come back to Vegas on personal time I would definitely consider coming back to South point!

Multiple dining options and close to Vacation Village at Grandview. Love the Coronado Cafe!

South Point has a nice gambling area and has fun things to do with the family. The graveyard specials to eat at the cafe are awesome too.

Enjoyed how they had something for everyone in the family. Movie theater, bowling, gambling of course and an arcade. It's not too crowded, so it was great

Pretty nice place for being the only option walking distance from our time share. i am knocking 1 star for 2 reasons. i wish they had some kind of nightclub is bar. basically something with a dance floor. The other is we ate at the burger place. for being a burger place the burger was really bad. I asked for medium and it was extremely overcooked. my mother in law got a chicken sandwich, it didnt have any mayo, it looked sad. we did not stay here, so i cant say what the rooms or pool are like.

The interior has been redone. You feel safe as long as you obey the guidelines

oh yeah... the rooms are always very nice and very clean...fluffy pillows..comfy beds.. plus the soaps smell DElightful!

Clean casino bowling alley is small but adequate nicely design for a casino off the strip

It smelled like cigarettes but it was pretty and the steak n shake was good.

It's an okay hotel
The rooms are small for the price
No refrigerator or microwave inside (you have to request for an extra charge)
They are not family Friendly nor do they cater for vegetarians or vegans
The Arena is decent and nice
The place has a theatre and bowling alley but not accommodating for families.
Kids who are under 16 won't be allowed to use the hot tub even with adults with them and the pool is overcrowded during the hot season.
When they're busy you won't be able to use the facilities...

I too, had a room with a concrete wall outside my window. Simple fix, I went downstairs and told the girl at the counter that I need a window I can see out of. For no additional charge, she moved me into a room with a nice view. All you have to do is ask nicely.
Sometimes the buffet is great, other times needs improvement. It's a hit and miss.
I do well gambling there, I would prefer it to the strip or downtown anytime. (The strip is a 10 minute drive from here)

Everything you want or need is here. Food, Buffet, games, shops, fair prices. Good people to play beside you as you play. Great part or town. Definitely will try to book here instead of the strip.

Employees make or break the experience at an off Strip casino like South Point. The staff here must be treated well as they are top notch in their treatment of guests.

Breakfast was enjoying so much food the employees, service & price was reasonable thank you for a for filling breakfasts.

We stayed at SouthPoint and loved it. The Hotel was Very Clean. and Rooms were very Clean. That really matters to us. The Beds and Pillows were the Best. Had a very Comfortable Sleep. Very Quiet and things for Kids to do...Pool, Bowling, Movie Theatre.

The casino is really nice as has a great layout. Went to dinner at the steak House. It was ok. My husband enjoyed his prime rib but I don't like red meat like that so I got the chicken which was dry and flavorless. The service was great and they mash your baked potato for you and toss your salad tableside.

Whole place smelled like smoke. Needs better ventilation. Customer service lacked a little courtesy. Plenty of things to do but I'll look elsewhere next time.

The rooms are HUGE and nicely laid out, private toilet/shower room seperate from sink area. Nice view from room, good casino that is taking lots of Covid-19 precautions, just an all-around positive experience!

Not bad but not great. Definitely a middle of the road place. Definitely could use some more channels on the t.v.

It's a fine place for what it is. Comps are fair and good while playing.. del Mar deli is the quick and great place to eat, Silverado was my favorite higher class restaurant... Decent pool area.. a fine place for a smaller sized exhibiton

Upon arrival we were asked if we minded them turning the water off at 2 am. They could look for another suite but after bucking airports for 12 hours we just want to get to the room. Every day and night on our 3 day stay there was a yapping dog barking in the room next door. The hotel is far from the main strip. The personal there were nice. Never really won anything. Will not stay there again.

Saw a show and had dinner at the cafe after. The show, Frankie Mareno, was great. I've seen him before, and his band is terrific! The show is a great experience! A fun and funny Las Vegas style show. The showroom at the South Point is very nice, and the seating is comfortable. The drinks were affordable (less than ten dollars apiece), and the wait staff was great. Ate at the cafe afterwards, and it was perfect for a late dinner. The French Onion soup was really good, rich and plenty of cheese on top! The service at the cafe was also great. Excellent night and affordable fun for locals!

Ate at the Coronado Cafe. Husband ordered a "Build your own sandwich" with meat, cheese, lettuce on non-toasted bread. Arrived with mayo on it. Sent back due to egg allergy. Replacement sandwich didn't arrive until after everyone else had finished their dinner. My medium prime rib was dark red & cool in the middle. No apologies for either. Bad food & poor service all the way around.

Buffet food was all too salty, canned soups and sauces, glorified hospital geriatric care military grade food. Way overpriced for low quality. Prime rib was scary unnatural color and taste. Food manager should go eat at a Stations casino and take notes. Worst buffet i had in Vegas. Never going back there.

EXCELLENT new casino in Las Vegas. The food was excellent and the decor was lovely. I couldn't say enough about the staff who were VERY helpful and gracious. I am looking forward to visiting again!

South Point is about 4 miles outside of the main strip west of it. It's nice enough and clean enough but not the best atmosphere like the strip is. The Garden Buffet is very mediocre at the very best

Love going here. They have a really good cafe that has great Chinese food. The service is always great. I love the movie theater. I've never stayed at the hotel but we had family that came into town and stayed, they had no complaints. Infact upon check in this rude lady cut in front of us in line and the hotel waived the resort fees for them.
