Good pretty good. Not worth the money but one of the cheapest in Las Vegas.
Good pretty good. Not worth the money but one of the cheapest in Las Vegas.
Great place, lots of restaurants. We love coming here.
Steak and shake was to die for! Casino was really nice too
Great Place to stay. I love staying at South Point Hotel. Fantastic Service. Several restuarant to choose from. Good price for Garden Buffet plus you receive a half price coupon when you stay at Hotel.
Very nice Casino! We ate at the Oyster Bar restaurant and the food was fantastic! People were very friendly. Nice quick walk from The Grandview which is where we were staying.
Has a theatre, a bowling alley, an equestrian and great entertainment venues along with great restaurants.
Local spot. Relaxing, not too crowded. Great table games and sports book
The room was awesome. The pool was awesome. The various venues and restaurants, and stores were great, with the exception of the cigarette smoke which permeated everywhere, except the hotel rooms. This is just a problem for me, and I can't expect a casino hotel to not have smoking, but if you hate cigarette smoke, you might want to go somewhere else.
It was my favorite hotel in Vegas! I was so impressed with all the choices, places to eat & things to do....I went with my family and I can't wait to go again!
Fantastic quality through and through! A well run resort property!
Nice Casino with bowling alley and economical steak breakfast.
This place is awesome!!! Great staff, good food, plenty to do 24/7 and the icing on the cake is there is a rodeo arena. We love going to South Point every year.
Had a fun time listening and dancing to an Elvis impersonator. He was pretty good. Made 40 bucks on the roulette table that was good.
Fun middle of the road casino. Nice buffet and sports book
Definitely to get in and out with free parking. Very cheap gambling easy to win but also easy to lose. Even in the high roller section it's not very expensive..they have an awesome bingo setup That's great for seniors or my parents and the bowling alley is non-smoking which is amazing for non-smokers I loved i...I haven't caught a movie for pretty cheap and it was a pretty nice theater.
At a bowling tournament here. Lanes are amazing and the casino would be cool if it weren't for all the smoking. There isn't a smoke free area, other than the bowling lanes, so that's a bummer. Since I have a history with asthma, I can't stand smoking areas very well.
No mask or temp check at the door! --Is that a good thing? I guess it depends on how you view the Governor's order -- but, there were plenty of mask wearing patrons and all the staffers had on masks or face shields. It is a large, spacious and well lit casino. There's a great mix of old version and new style gaming machines. Plenty of food places AND their buffet is open!! All the staff is pleasant and courteous. There's constant cleaning. The buffet servers fill you plate. It's still all you can eat-- yayyy! It's like any other casino, tho. I won some -- but I left it all there!!!
The bed was very uncomfortable as was the 2 nights there. We were placed on the 12th floor and it was very noisy not by people but by the damndest of things the roof top generator's. Too many events going on so no other rooms available. We were told next time just ask not to be placed on the 12th floor.
Great comps, friendly staff, great hosts and very nice rooms
Great rooms, great staff, and lots of options to do! The movie theater is one of my favorite things to do, and the bowling isn't bad either. It also has my favorite restaurant, Steak 'n Shake. Definitely check it out sometime.
We stayed here while passing through from California to SLC. Conveniently located off I15, parking wasn't the easiest to pack your luggage to the hotel rooms but doable. Clean, updated and well laid out. Kid friendly with a bowling alley, wading pool, and movie theater. Good sized, clean, comfortable rooms. The King Bed layout rooms and bathrooms were nice. Had the smell of horses outside and in some locations within the Casino. Overall quick, pleasant stay. Will stay here again and recommend to friends.
This is a older Casino but they have it well kept they have about four restaurants inside the casino Steak and Shake a buffet area into other restaurants they also have Bingo and bowling here that's very fun not too expensive The Games and Slots are really nice they have a few different tables that you can play it like Blackjack roulette poker they do have a hi player table that's a little costly depending on what do you want to spend Slots are Fun everything's well kept clean even during this time mask or worn people are very nice is super fun and enjoyable they also have free VIP parking that helps a lot we have ice cream shop a coffee shop everything is so delicious you can enjoy yourself at this wonderful Casino hope to see you soon here's some pictures of my slot plays and the fun I had there
Took all the kids to the bowling center. They had a great time.
I went to go see a movie on Tuesday. It's only 5.25 for a ticket on Tuesdays, which is pretty awesome...its a nice hotel too.
Had great service for lunch in the Club.. great casino. Nice size, good selection of restaurants.
I did experience a rude bartender.. just asking him a question.. didn't know the answer.. and told me to put my mask back on even though I was more than 6 feet away and had a drink in my hand. Bad time.. sheeple who love to tell on people. Just plain rude.
We love going to the sports book and bowling lanes at the South Point Casino. The sports book has tons of screens and seating. There's also a Steak & Shake that has good deals and a take out window. Great service here. Also has a decent movie theatre.
I worked for the USBC Championship. The South Point employees were always happy to be at work, I asked many how they liked working there and every time I got positive responses. It's a bit out of the way and it's a big place so wear comfy shoes cuz you'll be walking a lot other than that I had a great experience
This place has it all. No need to leave. Good food, bowling, theater...it's got it going on!
Great upscale zhotel and casino. A bit pricey but the rooms are all remodeled. Everything you need yet just outside of the crowds and chaos of "the Vegas Strip". Lots of machines to choose from for all your gambling needs, along with all the table games you would expect to find in a casino. Great poker room, too
I absolutely loved the southpoint! The casino was strip-quality. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the deal we got was great! The buffet was priced about normal for Las Vegas, and was very good! Rest of the restaurants were nice, and I really enjoyed having the movie theater only a few minutes from my hotel room. When I come back, I will definitely be looking at the Southpoint for rooms first!
It is very difficult to request your room to be cleaned. Ask Housekeeping to have your room serviced or cleaned and they failed to do it. They didn't even empty the trash even if we request for them to do so.
Place to go for prime rib. Also serves steak and chicken dishes. Primarily Prime Rib is delicious. Semi gourmet, without the gourmet price. Will return.
Hotel resort is a great place to stay. Casino is half a block away and less crowded than the strip. Rooms are spacious with all amenities, and very comfortable. Swimming pools and bowling alley, golf course and bbq pits. I enjoyed a 2 night stay with family on return trip from Wyoming. Would definitely reccomend.
Good hotel for locals and visitors alike. The rooms are not bad, a solid 6/10. Sometimes the whole area smells of manure/horses because or all the rodeo events. The odds on blackjack are 3/2 which is nice but the odds on craps are terrible
I've stayed quite a few places in Vegas. The South Point was my favorite. Free parking, nice rooms and good restaurants.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were great. The place is Huge! You never run out of things to do. There are so many restaurants here that you never have to eat the same one twice. Overall a great experience.
Love this place very nice great people and lots of tables and slots. Great food also available and the drinks are the best in town.
Amazing absolutely amazing!!! In this August heat no need to go outside. Everything you can think of in a vacation is under one roof.
I asked for 3 keys for our room and received 2 which I had to return to the front desk for the third key. Also, one of the beds had a sticky substance on the bottom sheet. The maid was at our door in about 10 minutes to remake the bed with clean sheets. This morning we had breakfast in the coffee shop and the service and food was okay at best. It took over 5 minutes to get our beverages and they went dry more than once.
It was clean and the service at their cafe was attentive. They have good specials and fresh food.
Great poker room, it s just frustrating when you have your name on the list but can t hear when they call your name !
Room on 24th floor, nice view. Dinner at Cafe, waitress Suweepau (?) competent, nice smile, accurate, a little backlogged when we were seated. PERFECT order! Waitress at Del Mar Lounge, very few customers, orders were consistently incorrect, made for a long night.
I didn't really expect much here, but was pleasantly surprised. A very friendly locals casino with friendly dealers and servers. We at at the buffet and the food was really good.
Its clean comfortable and easy to get to. I'd like to see a few more of the restaurants open later/earlier. All of the regular restaurants opened at 5
Always a good time and loose slots. Good place to gamble and trade shows
Location was easy to get too. Room's were good. Good selection of food and drinks. But wasn't to happy with the conference services. A bit to far from the strip for my liking but I'll take it for the price.
Not our favorite place. Had a lot of complaints. But, the room rates are better than some other hotels, so I guess there have to be trade-offs. Biggest complaint: very unfriendly to the disabled. Cars were lined up to check in, & an employee directing traffic made us park in a distant lot, even though we showed him our placard & explained we had mobility problems. Desk staff VERY rude & unfriendly. They ignore complaints. Could not get an extra pillow in our room. Told us they had "no pillows." A hotel with no pillows? Really? Our "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke. Restaurant was decent, food was good, but slightly over-priced. -- But, hey, it's Vegas. Also, it's about 8-10 miles from the strip, but that wasn't really an inconvenience, since we had our own car. All said, we probably won't stay at South Point again.
A great place for dates or just to have fun with friends.
Had a blast there. Room was awesome, everything was great
A great movie plex. Best casino in vegas. Has everything but the crowds of the strip. Great food as well and
Clean great customer service and fondness good in the cafe
Coffee shop has excellent food and well run so there is never a long wait.
Great local hotel/casino. We don't go often, but it's where we go when we want to gamble, it has some really good food choices and the rooms are nice and very reasonably priced.
Great food and services there. These people are awesome.
We visit Southpoint for one reason: Steak and Shake. The staff at this location work through the lines quickly and food comes out very fast. The casino itself is so-so. However, we did enjoy being able to go upstairs after dinner and watch a movie in the theatre.
Fun local spot, relaxed feel. Bowling and movies. Cool hangout for date night.
This place is awesome. They make you feel right at home. Excellent customer service.
Nice casino and hotel with all the restaurants, shops, kids zone on the second floor, along with bowling lanes and a theater. The only downside is that smoking IS ALLOWED in the casino. If that does not bother you, then enjoy!
I was there for several hours taking advantage of a drink special with a Meetup group. I wouldn't go there again; the ventilation isn't good so it was quite smoky as the night went on. It was a nice lounge and great drink special but I just can't stand that much smoke.
My favorite place to do vegas without the crowds and drunk kids
Really enjoyed this resort,
Clean comfortable rooms. Great casino and restaurants.
In vegas 3 days and never left.
Great convention facilities.
Always visit here on my way to the airport, reminds me of winstar casino in Oklahoma
I love this casino, and atmosphere. The workers are very helpful. Many things to do, also for children. Such a great all around hotel and casino
Buffett was delicious fresh food clean & neat. Casino was friendly staff
Great seafood buffet plenty of seafood 18.00 great price
Better payouts than the strip. Great center bar with great tenders.
Very nice place Especially if you don't care for big crowds.
Loved that they have a movie theater.
Wow that is a huge hotel when to see bowling tournament beautiful place.
Always greeted by friendly staff. Hotel is nice, yet not over the top like many other hotels. Has that warm comfy home feeling. Always very clean and not filled unsavory folks like strip hotels.
Absolutely love going there, if your a local and like a pretty chill environment the south point is the spot away from the busy strip, they have bowling, the buffet is good, and the movie theaters!
Went there to celebrate Father's Day in June. Great place that considers families. Food is good with a variety to chose from.
Definitely a different vibe than the strip but I'd definitely stay again
Love the South Point Casino, the Garden Market buffet is great. The sportsbook is first rate and above all it is located adjacent to the Grandview resort.
I've stay at several different resorts both on the Strip and Downtown. South Point has everything you need for a "One Stop Do Everything Adventure"
Nice environment with a large casino floor. Cool getaway with an easy drive to the developed strip. Has bowling alley, arcade, rodeo, event center, movie theater, etc. Would be a great spot for family vacationers who want to see Vegas and its surroundings, but prefer to stay away from "sin city"
Prompt service, friendly staff, nice rooms, decent slots, good food, great coupons, beautiful buildings, and a panoramic view of the mountains if you step outside. I came for one night and ended up staying four. Very affordable Crown N Coke at the island bar.
Great Hotel W/O the nonsense of the strip
best of all FREE parking
It was great went to steak n shake and was really satisfied
There's nothing like going to a Frankie Moreno Show and being surprised by Crystal Gayle! It was a fabulous show! But then he's always fabulous!!
Stop here 75% of the time when passing through has lots of truck parking, from the events to the food and of course the bowling ally and movie theater south point offers a lot from just a simple stop to a long stay!
