Attended a show with Frankie Avalon in the Showroom. Great aptomsphere. Intimate table and booth settings had the feel of old Las Vegas. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great experience. Will definitely go back again.

I loved our stay at South Point. It's clean our room was fabulous, it did not disappoint. All staff that I encountered this weekend were beyond great, super helpful and Nice. The shower head and bathroom makeup mirror in my room is to die for. I do however have some suggestions...
The Prime Rib restaurant needs MAJOR help in the kitchen. The prime rib is lacking to say the least. We paid a lot of money for flavorless, salty, chewy Prime Rib. Prime Rib is suppose to melt in your mouth. The service was spectacular, it saved our evening celebrating my Dad's Birthday.
Second we love to stay out late listening to live music, gambling and drinking or music in general. In my opinion they have a great lounge area in the sports bar, IT NEEDS MUSIC!!! Even if its piped in through the speakers, some sort of music is needed!! Management needs to Check out the Caboose Lounges set up at the Tropicana in Laughlin for some tips. Other then these suggestions, I will be going back for us it was a nice chill get away.

I don't go to South Point for the casino so I can't really speak on that. For me this hotel is an opportunity to visit family. The pool is awesome. Rooms are very large (I've stayed at the Luxor and Excalibur and a couple others away from the strip so I can honestly say these are large rooms compared to other hotels in the area.

They just redid the rooms as well so hardwood floors, leather chairs/seats and very nice partitioned bathrooms (toilet & bath in one section, sink in the other.) This means someone can be taking a shower and you can still access the sink without invading privacy.

Even ignoring the recent room updates I really like South Point because of the positive environment (people staying there and the employees), good food options and it's not very far from the strip by car. Highly recommend to anyone.

The view from the room is wonderful. The room and hallways are not the cleanest. The front desk team was efficient and helpful when we later had a question. Several choices of restaurants in the building, just not much within walking distance.

This place is an awesome clean casino stop. The pool is really fun and clean in a large area. There isn't that "people have been smoking in this casino for 50 years" smell that permeates all the other casinos. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and clean. We will definitely be staying here again.

We came back after staying here 2 years ago to play the casino. Unfortunately they had gotten rid of our favorite slot machine, but it was a good time. The food are shake and steak is great and cheap.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are large and spacious. Large king size bed, large kitchen living room with pull out couch. The bathroom was also spacious with a large tub spa-like as well as a large shower. The casino was walking distance from our room filled with some amazing cafes and restaurants. The staff was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. Only a 10-minute drive from the strip.

Lots of parking, casino is nice, great workers I ve won 7 hand pays totaling over $12,000 and every time they were quick to pay me and move on. Even with Covid they make sure social distancing at machines is spaced out, and the cocktail waitress are on it with getting my orders while playing. Love this casino and the bowling center is nice.

My family and i went to the Garden Buffet inside the south point Hotel Casino. For it being a pretty small buffet there were a lot of options. Food was good and they kept refilling it often. The only reason i took off one star is because we were there for about an hour and nobody ever came back and asked if we wanted refills they just came and took plates. They also forgot to bring one of our drinks all together.

Miguel's Serves BIG plates of food!!! Do not fear hot spicy fajitas! Food store packages far more spicy.....I ate all the chicken(nice!) & 50%+ of veggies....side was more veggies....for TWO!!

Upgraded slots. Only 1 in 3 is vintage I would guess...so slot play is funner.

They adopted some GF so they must listen.
Lost duhAzzz here all the time without fail!

Whoops, forgot to update! This place is so nice if you don't want to stay on the strip. Housekeeping was great, location was great, buffet was good and there are other options. They also pick up for tours here, I took one to see Hoover Dam. I could see this becoming a regular stay after I stay on the strip and in old downtown, just to say I did.

I did not stay here, I had a conference here. I feel like they don t have the best ventilation, because I could smell the smoke more than at other hotel/casinos.

The overall experience was that it is just a lower quality cheaper hotel. Which some may want, due to the fact that it is much cheaper than staying at a hotel/casino on the strip.

Also the hotel is a few miles away from the main strip. Which is a good thing to know before hand.

The location is isolated from the strip so parking and traffic isn't bad at all. The casino is pretty well maintained and kept clean. The movie theaters are nice and the bowling lanes are good too. The only downfall to bowling is they hold a lot of competitions so sometimes you are out of luck and there arent any lanes available but you can always call ahead and check.

This is a third rate hotel. As an example, this morning there was no hot water to take a shower. The staff seem uninterested in providing much help with most issues. Might as well be staying at a Motel 6...probably would have been better. Don't waste your money here.

This hotel has its perks. But it smells of smoke! I called prior to be sure kid areas didn t but the wreaked! We are home after 3 days and feel like someone punched us in the chest From the smoke coming out. That being said some of the positives are the kid friendly amenities in which you would think it would be smoke-free or better ventilation. There is a movie theater, bowling alley, arcade and plenty of cheap kid food! The only reason why we stayed here was because we were supposed to meet with friends when I stay here again probably not. The pool is absolutely too small and my daughter seem kind of bored. This is def a relaxed hotel which I enjoyed not having to be all dolled up every day it was nice to be able to wear shorts flip-flops and T-shirt.

Spacious, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Casino is nice and open. Restaurants are delicious -- especially the Silverado. Everything is reasonably priced, too. Loved our stay, hope to return soon!

So we spent 3 nights at South Point for my husband and son's Nationals Bowling Tournament. Very pleased with the rooms. Clean, toiletries were lovely. Towels were a little harsh and coffee in room was a bit of a let down (a bit flavorless). Casino is filled with lots of slots and poker machines but they are quite tight on payouts. Poker room is friendly and lots of limits to choose from. Restaurants are plentiful and decent prices but stay away from Seattle's Best Coffee. Will be writing a review on that next. Just saying that the coffee is not the best and the service was bad. Servers there give no smiles, no greeting, make you feel like you are bothering them. Lady at the smoothie shop was super sweet. Bathrooms are kept clean. Pool was outstanding and so was the hot tub. Shaded areas and can pull your lounge chair or table and chairs under palm trees. There is a deli and bar in there but we didn't go in so can't speak to prices, service or food/drinks in there. You can get nice swim towels to use so no need to bring down your own. There is a little shop to buy stuff there where you can walk in or use a service window, unsure of everything in shop since we didn't go in but talked to lady at the window (very nice lady) about goggles so assuming there are swim related items in shop. Lifeguards on duty. There is a bowling alley (in addition to bowling tournament area) with open play, movie theaters playing current films for under $6 per person, an arcade for the kids. All in all a nice stay. Bell service, valet available. Club for players so get your cards and earn some points. Poker room has separate players card to earn $1 an hour which you can cash out, they also host daily tournaments and have specials running daily/monthly. Bingo was enjoyable. All in all a nice stay.

I love going bowling there because they have so many lanes. Also, they have specials on food past midnight. I got a steak for $6 and a burger for $5. The food seems to be worth more than they're charging, it was delicious.

Basically everything you need in one place. Good food and even deals at different times. Bingo was fun. Lots of room and options for play. Had no issues with any staff. My only complaint was really just the bed; way too hard.

Great staff! Pam and Miranda were extremely helpful and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The horse riding competition going on in the arena was fun to watch. The pool was not overcrowded. The buffet was great and the waitress we had was efficient and friendly. The late night steak and eggs at the restaurant was good and the waitress was quick and very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't do too bad on the machines either!

A relatively new property that's on the south end of the Vegas Strip, proper name: Las Vegas Blvd. It's owned by a local and has many equestrian events and rodeos. It's clean and the rooms are of the all-suite type. They also have a bowling alley, movie theaters and many different types and levels of restaurants. I've eaten in most of the restaurants here and they've all been very nice. If you want a nice meal for a special occasion, try Michael's, an upscale steak house, with prices equivalent to that imprimatur.

It's a short drive from the airlort. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. However, the cafe was a bit slow. The milkshake and waffle were delicious.

Rooms are clean and quiet. Hotel is clean, but if you are from out of town and it's a weekend restaurant open late. Everytime we asked for a soda we was charged 2.00 on the casino floor. Not a lot of wait staff because the 3 days we was her not one person asked if I would like a drink.

I went to the South Point Casino poker room this morning and I asked for a seat. There was a lady dealer there she told me why don t you sit down they are open seat, I said give me about 10 minutes I need to wash up, she said just take one hand and then leave, I said please just give me 10 minutes to wash up, she said you can go somewhere else, so I left this is why I m giving a bad review she told me go somewhere else.

Classy place with fantastic hotel beds! We live just an hour outside of town, and often times get a room here when we know it will be a long night. Its off the touristy path so the patrons are usually locals to the region. The hotel staff is wonderful, the drinks are stiff, the amenities are great, and the beds are great. This is our go-to when in Vegas for the night.

Note, their Saturday night show Spazmatics are so much fun! I recommend this show if you like 80s music!

We ate at the Garden Buffet for Christmas and it was so worth it. We loved the options and the price was very reasonable. We loved the drinking options as well that come with the buffet. We didn't have to wait long either despite how long the line actually was. I would definitely recommend trying the Garden Buffet!

Enjoy coming and staying here for the INFR rodeo. Been here a few times and there's alot to do here at the casino, movies, arcade, mige gaming floor. Plenty of food options to choose from and I had room service and ordered breakfast and it was yummy. Pancakes, eggs and bacon food was quick as well and still hot. Love the updated king room I had too. Definitely will be back.

South Point Hotel is one of my favorite hotel to stay at when I'm in Vegas. I love the fact that they so many choices when it comes to restaurant in their hotel. There's so many activity to do even with kids example bowling and a movie theater. The customer service a great too! I think this is a great Hotel because it's not too far from the strip but far enough to take the kids. Love this hotel!

The buffet at south point was awesome. There is a good variety of food that was served by staff. You need to wear mask when you are not eating. Every thing seemed clean and all staff were masked. There also were tables not in use to ensure social distance . The price is discounted with a rewards card.

I've been to the coffee shop many many times and enjoyed every meal that I've had there. It is a ritual of my friends and myself to meet for lunch before they leave Las Vegas for home. I have also been 2 this South Point Hotel and Casino for New Year's Eve bash twice.
