Was a guest of a friend...Staff VERY user friendly. Rooms nice w/ lg bath very nice. Security very helpful. Hats off to the fellow in front of guest shop for information. Over all, had the feeling of thank you for staying with us. Also in a very short time ... a machine gave me a surprise that I have not received in years! Be careful with Uber or Lift ... be sure to take a pic of the license plate or write it down. Trust me, the numbers on the www are recordings that get you no place.

The spa facilities are really nice, but the towels have seen better days. Also, there's this thing called a cascading shower but it's actually closer to a busted hydrant. The food and service at Don Vito's exceeded all of our expectations. I was pleasantly surprised.

Best I can tell the gambling is pretty much the same as most regular price casinos. It's the food that impressed me. The locals say this place has the best Chinese food in the area. It was top notch. This is the restaurant locals call the coffee shop. The official name is Coronado Cafe. At another meal the very inexpensive rib eye steak was really good, and I only like really good steak. The reason they didn't get five stars is because of chicken fried steak. This is the first time I have had this, but I expected there to be beef in there. I could barely find any inside the batter. Definitely worth going back to, just avoid the chicken fried steak.

My favorite hotel in Vegas. They have it all...LITERALLY! Tons of dining options, a bowling alley, movie theaters, the best equestrian facility, a huge bingo room, fun nightlife options, every casino game you could imagine, and an absolutely ridiculous sports book! I love the tons of parking that's available there...and it's FREE!!!! Hopefully they don't get greedy like the strip. My only suggestion would be that I hope they create a tailgating section for the Raiders games. That would be absolutely fantastic!

Nice casino and cowboy themed hotel. If you loved all thing "Western ", then you will love this hotel. Horse arena, horse trailer parking, host to national rodeo and jumping championships. Casino and restaurants all 4 star.

Did not get to spend much time here, but I doubled my money playing slots. We stopped to eat at the buffet. First, the service was excellent! Very nice variety of cuisines; American, Italian, Asian, Mexican, Seafood, salad bar, dessert bar. We had a large SUV and trailer and had no problem parking.

I've stayed here several times, and it's always been a good experience. They have spacious, comfortable rooms. It's a little of the strip, but it's really just a short drive, and I don't mind it. The pool area is nice, and not crowded. Casino area is typical, I think. But I don't really gamble much. Price is right.

I enjoyed my stay at South Point Hotel. I was in town on business and wanted a place away from the strip, but comfortable. I found it in South Point. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, well appointed, and luxurious (for a bargain hotel) My parent's had a faulty TV, but housekeeping was there in 5 minutes to fix the problem. Valet was easy, bellhop was easy, front desk got us checked in within 5 minutes. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Las Vegas, but not stay right on the strip.

South Point is a good hotel that gives you everything you need at a good price. It's a short ~10 minute drive into the strip. It's very clean and not as busy as some of the other hotels where you have to deal with extra traffic. My review is on the room alone. I really liked it, there was plenty of space, a comfortable bed and enough space for other people to come visit before heading out. The restroom was well separated so you can still use the vanity wile someone showers or uses the toilet. I liked thatvthere were other mirrors with tables. This is especially useful when you have several girls staying in one room.

Very nice hotel stay. Plus they have Steak & Shake! Nice pool too. Great staff. Family friendly. We also ate at their most expensive restaurant, I was not as impressed. The food was unremarkable, the atmosphere uptight. It felt more like an uncomfortable conversation than an experience. I say this having dined with my husband of over a decade and my children who behaved well. Avoid the expensive stuff and enjoy the free and reasonably-priced things they have to offer and you won't be disappointed.

I have been staying here for the past 10 years. I come twice a year. One for a bowling tournament and the other for fun. I just came again for my yearly bowling tournament and I will never come back again. The room was dirty. The floor in the bathroom had stains there was glass on the carpet no hot water ac not working well plus much more. When I called to let them know they offered me a resort fee credit ($14) and send the maid back up. Well she came back up but the room was still dirty. Most hotels I stay in they dump your ash tray and throw away your trash as well as take you dishes away. Well this was never done. We have over 300 bowlers comes a year. This won t be happening again. Nor will I stay here again. Thanks south Point for the worse experience.

The bathroom was clogged so we had to change room, and the jacuzzi is closed to kids under 16, so as a parent you're more likely to not go if you're kid can't go. You pay a $21/day fee for use of the resort but the pool and jacuzzi are not part of the resort somehow. Oh, the other part of the resorts are actually not that free. If you don't have kids you're good, but personally if I didn't have kids I think I'd try to end up closer to the strip. Otherwise it's a great place. Big rooms, good restaurants for every budget, a bowling alley, arcade, a cinema (those are part of the resort, but are not free... you see what I meant earlier?), free parking. I don't gamble, but the casino seems good. You really don't have to leave. So it's mostly good. I hope it helps.

It was ok. They have a bowling alley and a movie theater but that buffet was gross. It messed my stomach up. I literally took a bite of everything and nothing was good but the ribs. I lie to you not I was like nope to everything. I walkes out farting and by time i got to the 5th floor i was stuck to my toilet. I'm a food lover so if your food almost kill me that's a problem.

This is a sort of hybrid between a local's place and a destination resort. The rooms are just fine. Lots of slots and table games. Restaurants range from a deli to first class steakhouse. Or sushi if you prefer. Bowling alley and movie theater on site. Free parking and plenty of it. Reasonable rates too.

This review is solely for The Poker Room & Staff. I absolutely LOVE The Poker Room & Staff at South Point. They make you feel right at home. They are very good dealers and extremely friendly. Their Tournaments have great value and the staff is hands down the best in Las Vegas. Boba and the rest of the managers are great, very friendly and helpful. The Dealers, Marty(My #1 Fav), Frank(My Fav), Richard(My Fav also)Howard, Victor, Melanie, Brian and there's others who's names I cannot remember but they were all GREAT! I will definitely be booking a stay at the Hotel & Resort because they made me feel at home. Oh and the local players are just as nice.. Well that is when they're not calling my every bet til the river and getting a flush..lol Either way I love this place and I recommend staying here or if you're a poker player going to play poker. Tell em Jay(Queens) sent you. That won't get you anything but they'll treat you nice.. I can't wait to see all you guys and girls again real soon.. P.S. The Buffet is The Bomb!!

Huge establishment with lots to do. Movie theater, bowling rink, pool & spa, plus huge casino are awesome. Because the location is about a 5 min drive away from the edge of the strip, so not exactly on it, it allows the pricing to be pretty affordable and makes it an even better experience. The rooms are spacious and nice, nothing less than ideal for a proper nights stay.

Great gem in Vegas. Everything is reasonably priced: rooms, dining, bar drinks, ice cream shop, bowling. They always have great promotions whether it's for gambling or dining. Only steak & shake in town. Movies are 5.25 on Tuesdays. Bowling is $1 after midnight sun - thurs. I can go on and on, but some of the best deals are here.
