Very clean. Nice neighborhood. Big spacious casino. If you have time, stop in and check out their 64 bowling lanes or their movie theather. We ate at their buffet and it was good food at a good value.

This Casino is outstanding. It is far enough away from the casinos on the main strip to not be associated with them, but close enough to be part of Vegas. There are Rodeo and bowling tournaments here on a regular basis. Also has a 16 theater cinema and 10 places to eat of all different types of food.

I always stay at the South Point when I'm in Vegas. It's a perfect location for me. It's only about 10 mins from the strip so not too close but not too far. Reasonable prices in the casino area. Great restaurants and activities.

For the price, they have great accommodations. Room was spacious and very clean. You don't have to leave if you don't want to. Lots of restaurants; great casino; high bingo hall; and movie theaters.

Great price on the room but you will be charged like 21$ more because of the casino. You will never have to leave the hotel if you dont want to. The work out room is pretty large.

Did not stay there, but the casino was very nice. They also had a bowling alley and a movie theater and I do believe a horse track, never actually seen it but was told they had one. And a bingo hall.

Attended a work suicidal event yesterday at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa. The staff was exceptionally professional and on top of every aspect. The food was incredible and on par with a $50-$70 mal at a high end steak house. They served an iceberg wedge salad but it was the small touches of artichokes, olives and sundried tomatoes that made it stand apart. The main course was a 6 oz grass fed beef fillet with a mushroom and balsamic vinegar reduction asking with a 3-4 oz chicken breast with a delicious cream sauce. The meats were accompanied with asparagus and mashed potatoes dotted with diced stewed tomatoes as a garnish. The bars and dessert were equally on point. The entire facility was clean and the bathrooms were spotless in the meeting areas.

I visited this location for an archery competition and enjoyed my time here. There are a bunch of places to eat (from burgers, to sandwiches to Chinese) and a lot of different slot machines. Not much for gambling, but sat down for a little bit and enjoyed myself. The archery tradeshow and competition was on the other half of the hotel and was very impressive! I'll be going back!

Great deals, flawless comfort, and not very far off the strip. The convenience they offer here is spectacular, with a lively casino, multiple delicious restaurants, spacious rooms and an amazing pool and spa. It's like a little oasis.

I have been an employee here and a guest seen it from both angles. This is truly one of the last true Las Vegas casinos in town. While most off strip properties have continued to go in the direction of bottom line. This place has stayed true to its roots. A great place to go as a local or someone from out of town.

All the bars are closed so unless your gambling you have to sit in the lounge for a drink. Waited over thirty minutes to get a drink. Waitress came over with serious attitude. I asked her if she could make a shot for me a specific way she said the bar tender will do whatever they want and the shot came out completely wrong. Glad I waited!

House keeping was very poor on keeping room clean. Stayed there for 6 days. I cleaned up better then what they did. They should definitely want to take care of the Travel Agents that stays there. It would be a good on the travel agent behalf to accommodate their clients stay there. As a travel agent I would not book my client stay at this hotel due to house keeping poor job of cleaning. Btw there was crickets and other types of bugs in the hallway. Seen dead bug by my room door for 3 day's without it being cleaned up by hotel. I specifically wanted to see how long it will take for them to clean it up. Other then that everything was great. If I pay for house keeping I expect them to clean my room I shouldn't have to do it.....

I will be attending a convention there in the near future and I will not be staying at this location.

Great family oriented hotel. Rooms are spacious, parking easy, staff friendly, beds very comfortable, free breakfast and coffee. Breakfast included yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee and tea, breakfast sandwiches, make your own waffles, and more. I was impressed with the quality. The gym is nice, BBQs outside, I didn't see the pool. Only downside is noise from kids at night.

I've been to the South Point several times, and always enjoyed my visit. This time I saw a show and it was good. The cocktail waitress never made it to my table, though. I wasn't happy with the valet who took my car, but that's another story.

Spent an entire week here and only left once (to watch the UFC fights down the street). Excellent food choices and tons of gaming options. For the price, I don't think anyone else in Vegas can compete. I hope to come back in the future.

Enjoyed visiting for the Vegas archery shoot. The staff were very accommodating. The smoke is less than other casinos but still present. We had a non smoking room which was good. Restaurant selection and layout for the event were good.

We went to the South Point to watch our neice compete In a barrel racing competition. It's a huge facility that caters to equine events. After the event, we went to the attached casino and had a great time. The casino is clean, spacious and had a wide variety of loose slots. There is a also a hotel on the property and several restaurants. It's about five miles from the strip but if you like to get away from the chaotic crowds and still have a great time this is the place for you.

Went to see the Frankie Scinta show. Great fun! Music was terrific, he is funny and does the occasional dead on impression, great humor all through the show. Plus there is an amazing singer named Janien Valentine. Beautiful girl with an ASTOUNDING voice! I highly recommend the show!

Love this place. This is my fourth time staying here. Each stay has been for business but I would have no problem staying here while visiting with my family. Take advantage of the bowling alley, movie theater a great gym and pool. Even the kids and teens would have fun here. It s not as smoky as other casinos too. Mr Charles Allen will give you the best shoe shine of your life and great conversation.

The entire place was amazing, very clean, prop on getting extra items needed, room service was very accommodating. My kids definitely loved the pool, arcade, radio and the plenty of other things that were there. We didn't need to leave the hotel for our 2 night stay at all because of the wide variety of options. We will definitely be going back.

We love the SP. We go many times a year and always stay here. We participate in activities at the arena and love the size of the casino. Not too big, not too small. The pool is awesome in the spring and summer. Can't wait for the next trip at the end of May.

The casino and other attractions are great for an off the beaten path place, which we prefer. But they have the WORST bartenders ever. Rude, don't acknowledge you, act like your putting them out. Especially the one guy by Le Baron that resembles Blue Diamond Phillips, awful. Left bc of him. Brian on the other hand was all smiles-look for him. PS I've been told they're union. They give union workers a bad name, a darned shame.

Service was very good, lots to do and keep you entertained. Food was great, a lot to chose from. Casino was always busy. The only downside was the bed was terrible. We have been there several times before and always lived it. I think it is just time to get new beds.
