When I first moved in we had problems with the int...

When I first moved in we had problems with the internet all of the time and they couldn't get my parking straightened out. Then new management took over who got rid of most of our parking spots, but kindly offered them back for a fee. The current leasing manager told me she noticed more spots during the day when she was here...as in when the rest of us are also at work. Part of the reason I signed on my apartment was because of my parking spot. The maintenance staff is great, but there are not enough of them. I had to wait a week to get the light in my bathroom replaced, and when I called about it the woman I spoke to asked me how many bathrooms I have. Worst of all the fire alarm goes off all the time. It happens at all times of day. In fact, they are going off again, right now, as I type. That's what finally pushed me over the edge. Do not move in here. Save yourself the trouble and move into one of the other communities.

Same day update: The alarms have gone off two more times, and the whole building lost power.

Update: Management decided that Christmas would be a good time to renovate the lobby,l. So our package lockets have been removed, and we have to go to the other building to get our packages and get no notices. Not inconvenient at all during the holidays.

I ve lived in the Slade for 3 months now, coming from another complex in Channelside, and have been extremely pleased. My apartment size and quality are a great value for the price. The staff are very responsive to needs and the management company is making beautiful changes in the property. I highly recommend checking out The Slade!!!

Makenzie has been fantastic walking us through the leasing and move in process. Hands down the best leasing on-boarding I have ever experienced. Right away working with her, I knew I made the best decision for our new home for our relocation from CA. Gorgeous location, great amenities, and extreme lease value. Can't wait to move in!

3. Don t forget.. they go for 3 hour lunch breaks every day and tow your car out of a garage you pay $20 to park in.

I would not recommend living here. We have had the worst experience out of any apartment complex we have ever lived in and it s been a total of 1 week living here.

I also would like to note - your parking policy was NEVER communicated to us. Why would we voluntarily get our car towed? Like seriously? The stupidity.

I had an awesome experience living at slade. I can t think of any major problems I encountered for the 12 months I was living there. Also great location, right next to crunch, dog parks, restaurants. Definitely recommend.

I had a very pleasant experience with our apartment search. The leasing agent was professional and very knowledgeable of the complex, surrounding area, and Tampa in general. She was especially responsive to both our phone calls and emails.

We found the apartments to be really nice and a better value than every place we'd seen prior.

The location is perfect and the amenities are top notch.

The Slade is hands down the best place to live in Channelside. New management has been great. They ve already installed keyless entry locks (I m very forgetful), remodeled the main pool, and fixed the parking issue. Under previous management, I was forced to park in a reserved space on the top floor(uncovered), but now they have moved to open parking, and on most days I can find a covered spot on my floor. The ladies in the office have been great and even do small things to make residents feel special during the pandemic. The other day they gave out free wine and masks. I will be renewing my lease in October.

The maintenance team is Amazing! They constantly go above and beyond to make sure the slightest inconvenience is taken care of seamless and accurately. They make living at the Slade a home...when you pass them in the hallways they always have a smile on their faces and make it a point to get to know you.

As I write this review I bask in the wonderful ambience of blaring fire alarms for the fifth time this week. But tonight, these fire alarms are special. These fire alarms had the privilege of waking me from a blissfull sleep. Almost as if they had a purpose. A purpose to finally leave a review about how I truly feel about this place.

It's unfortunate because the apartments are relatively nice and affordable for the space. But the sheer amount of inconveniences such as these fire alarms, Wifi outages or power outages (all three have happened this week alone) is enough to steer so very clear from this place.

Not to mention the property manager blowing cigarette smoke in your face as you leave your *home*..

Stay away, and tell your friends to as well.

We have been without working grills for a month no...

We have been without working grills for a month now. It took 12 days to get maintenance to respond and check out my ice maker. Whenever you call the office they just simply don t answer. They finally left me a voicemail making sure my ice maker was fixed to my satisfaction when no one had even been by. It would be nice to have an answer on when we can grill again instead of just having them padlocked because they are working on the propane
