Great thing about it is the location; otherwise nothing special.

I didn't do much but pass through but what I saw was amazing and the facilities were imaculate.

Many of the necessary Salem sights are within an easy walk. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was welcoming and very polite.

Food was excellent albeit expressive but what isn't these days. Only issue bumping the rating to four is due to the fact that in the description there's claims of "waterfront" when in reality the views include that of old buildings. However, in terms of location it doesn't get better than this

Killer location. State of the art modern lux hotel! Great bar and outside fire pit. Walk to anything in Salem. Nautical theme. Can host large groups too!

I want to apologize to this hotel for lashing out on them the way I did, they did nothing and it turned out to be entirely the website hotels.com that I booked on that made everything a mess. I m sincerely sorry and I m sure the hotel is wonderful like most of the reviews say! I hope we can come back next year, without covid ruining it all. :)

Nice rooms, super big and with all you need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast not included in the standard rate.

We stayed at the Salem waterfront hotel for one night and had an amazing time. The staff working at the front desk were so accommodating and made us feel right at home. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable ! We visited the pool and had so much fun! Would definitely stay here again whenever we visit Salem :) thank you !

It is a very nice hotel, we would stay again. It is conveniently located in town to get anywhere you need to visit. And the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I love this place the way they treat you with the up most respect and they are very sweet love the area that there so much to do will definitely come back

Highly recommend. Lovely lobby with beautiful fresh flowers. Big room with nice decor. Very handicapped accessible. Great service. Wonderful location and a nice big parking lot.. I'm in a wheelchair and had no problem with getting to nearby stores and several restaurants. In the heart of Salem yet it didn't feel congested.

We got the junior suite it is absolutely beautiful and spacious

Attended a wedding shower for my fiancee. The situated the ladies in the downstairs bar & patio. When I came at the end of the event everyone was having a famous time. Friendly staff. The food was also delicious.

It is a nice hotel but we slept right next to a speaker on their patio! We paid way too much money for loud music until 12:30 on a Sunday!

Nice hotel, but could be nicer. The beds are kinda uncomfortable and the rooms could use a little updating. Contrary to the name, it really isn't waterfront, but it's a block down the street. The food is pretty good, but there is better food within walking distance. Overall, I would come again.

Quaint hotel, comfortable accommodations with a touch of class. Leave your big vehicles elsewhere; our midsize suv barely fits in their parking spaces.

My Wife and I got married at the Salem Waterfront Hotel August 12, 2017, and everything was just perfect.

We started planning two years in advance and had the pleasure to work with Robyn, Caitlyn, and Rose; all three wedding specialist are great, experienced and professional.

Rose took over as our coordinator, she put our minds at ease even after last minute changes and she made sure everything went exactly as planned for our big day, definitely went above and beyond.

We loved the food, and we still getting great compliments from some of our guests about it, specially the passed hors d oeuvres during cocktail hour.

The Platinum Package was priced reasonably, and the hotel was very flexible some requests we had for our big day, specially Linda who also went above and beyond to make sure we did not have to worry about anything and enjoy our wedding day.

Bridal suite was spectacular specially after turn down service ;-)

The entire staff at the hotel was great and we highly recommend this for a wedding venue or any other special event.

The live music is always great. The wait staff is top notch. The food especially the steak tips and french fries are so tasty!

I took my Daughter to Salem for her birthday and we had an amazing time. The hotel was amazing- the service, the staff, the room! We cant wait to go back and will stay at this hotel, everytime we go!

My husband and I stayed here for one evening traveling back to Pennsylvania from Maine. The front desk staff and manager that day were very kind and accommodating. I was happy to see a restaurant on site as we had arrived around dinner. We did not have a very good experience with service in the dining area for dinner or for breakfast the next morning. The wait staff was not attentive, as we had to ask them to come to us more than once. For a hotel that seems to have a number of weddings, I think this is a problem. The food however was good, except for the clam chowder which was devoid of clams or potatoes. If I were ever to be in Salem again, I would find a different Hotel.

We did not end up staying here, but the wedding party did and we frequented the ground to visit. The layout is nice and location can not be beat in Salem given the proximity to the waterfront and cafes, plus downtown. However, it only gets 3 stars in my books because of the prohibited expensive pricing.
