Amazing! Very nice and friendly staff. It was our first time out on a canoe and they answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable. Very reasonable prices! Way better prices than those in the more touristy area. Great selection of boats. Showed the different boats so we knew what we wanted to rent. Gave us life vests and helped us in and out of our canoes. Nice and professional business. Quiet and peaceful area. Had a great experience. Would 100% recommend!
A great place to rent a boat while on Lake George. Stephanie and the crew will get you setup quickly & safely then have you on the water for a great day. The boats are in good condition and very ready for all you need to do for a great adventure. Just don't forget the map!
I rarely provide reviews but great customer service needs to be recognized. Dockside Landing Marina is absolutely the best marina on Lake George. Scott and his staff are not only friendly and professional but they try to ensure that every boater enjoys their time on the water. Whether it s re-fueling with ethanol free gas, renting a boat for the day, picking up a bag of ice or having your boat engine serviced Dockside s is the place to go.

I was excited that a boat was available and agreed to rent Dockside's last boat for a 4 hour session the afternoon of 8/6/13. I asked the cashier if it would be ok for me to run to the delli down the street to pick up a couple sandwiches and take the boat in 15-20 minutes. She said that would be fine. I asked if there was any chance I would lose the rental and she assured me it would not be a problem. I then offered to leave a deposit to make sure and she said it was not necessary. When I left the office the owner asked if I made a decision I let him know I would rent it for the 4 hrs and was going next door to pick up a couple sandwiches and would be back in 15 minutes. After returning in 15 minutes I noticed customers getting into the boat. I was promptly informed by the owner that he was sorry and that the boat was rented right after you left. I replied that I was told by the cashier that the boat would be held for me and that I offered to leave a deposit. His response was "you need to take the boat when you pay for it." I have been vacationing in Lake George for over 50 years with my family and have never encountered customer service like this. Dockside lost our trust and all future business.
Summer'16 was great and no better way to finish it off than visiting our friends at Dockside!!! Their condo and boats provide such a great combo so all we had to do was bring the important stuff...good friends, food and fun! Another great Lake George memory to hold us thru the winter!!! This was our first time out on a boat and Dockside Landing Marina did not disappoint!! The staff was friendly and accommodating!!! From the initial call to make the reservation until the time we left, Stephanie, Taylor and Scotty were outstanding! They took the time to explain everything in detail. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great day on Lake George!
I've kept my boat here all season and have had nothing but excellent service and personal care. Every single person has been helpful, kind to my kids, and patient with us as load, or unload, or need a life preserver or a raft or towable blown up. I can't say enough good things about this place.
The service at Dockside is top notch. I've been storing here for a couple years; fall drop off and spring pick up are always a breeze. This summer the motor broke on a Sunday. Dockside arranged to have a mechanic come by first thing Monday morning. Well we got even better service than that. He stopped by on his way home Sunday evening, checked out the motor, did a quick thing so we could use it temporarily, ordered the part the following morning, came back & made the full repair the next morning. Two days and the boat was fixed, two house calls & the bill was incredibly reasonable. Dockside is the best on LG!

I have been coming to Lake George since I was a young girl, and I have never experienced better customer service than I did at Dockside Landing Marina. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our group was comfortable boating, and had everything we needed for fun filled day on the water. Everyone there has always been extremely polite, helpful, and accommodating. We've been using them for a taxi to the islands the past couple of years, and it's been great. Every time we talk with a different person, and each time they're equally nice to deal with. Nothing but good things to say about the place and the people. Thank you so much!

Definitely the best place to rent a boat in Lake George! Staff is very friendly and the customer service here is just top notch. Their boats are also probably much newer compared to most of the other rental with much better pricing!
