Went to the bar very quiet atmosphere a little pricey

This historic hotel is in a great location near the French Quarter and the central business district. Park across the street and enjoy walking instead!

Best Pizza in NoLa and Best Cocktail aka the Sazerac

We ate lunch at Domenica restaurant. The pizza was huge for the price, and delicious, and the service was great! We also enjoyed the complimentary focaccia and pepper-infused olive oil.

The holiday lights are a must for a great New Orleans Xmas.

This was not a good hotel experience. When we arrived at the hotel the doorman asked if we needed help with our bags to which I said yes. Instead of helping he got us some water and let my husband handle all the bags and didn't at least get the door. This particular doorman remembered our names throughout the stay but literally never opened a door for us. All the other doormen did. We went for our anniversary and used my travel card that has benefits such as best price guarantee, free upgrades, free breakfast and other perks at the hotel. This was why we chose this hotel because it was part of the luxury Visa collection and we were supposed to be given VIP treatment, which would have been perfect for our anniversary! On the way to the hotel I noticed the price of the room dropped by $30. The front desk clerk was going to charge full price. When I told her my card had price match guarantee, which was literally written on the reservation, she stated "I doubt it" but I'll see what I can do. She was very rude and not very helpful. We spent extra money to get upgraded, although we were supposed to get free upgrades. Even with the upgrade the room was small and definitely not nice enough for the money we paid. At the end of the visit none of the credits/ perks for my card were applied and the staff make you feel like they are doing you a favor instead of simply giving you what you are entitled to and have already paid for. I would strongly suggest you don't stay at this hotel unless you like being treated badly and enjoy tiny spaces that aren't well maintained.

Went there with my family to see the beautiful decorated Christmas trees and lights and took some pictures. A must see location to have a merry Christmas.

Timeless Old School Class and Charm with exceptional, attentive service.
Regular rooms may not be what s desired size wise but the suites are wonderful.
High-end amenities and luxurious trappings of first class travel.

A wonderfully decorated hotel with character. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The restaurant has wonderful espresso. The Sazerac, the drink not the bar, was average. There are better ones in town.

The lobby was PACKED! Lots of folks without masks and no social distancing in place. The service in the Sazerac Bar was not acceptable in a place charging $20.00 for a small cocktail.

Very spacious rooms, bathrooms are a bit cramped in comparison

This is one of my favorite hotels in New Orleans, we also ate at restaurant Dominica and it was fantastic, the food the service the wines, A+++

Stayed here for a conference, everything was within walking or short trolly ride. Great hotel!!

You have to try a Sazerac cocktail. They say this is where it started.

Can't say anything about the rooms but the lobby is magical during Christmas and the gin fiz is the best in town.

Great food, small portions. Second time at Domenica, and while the pizza was great, I found the other entrees underwhelming for the price. Server was mediocre, and didn't seem terribly interested.

Went for a long weekend with my husband and are son plus his girlfriend to scout locations for his Bachelor party. Had the BEST time.

Excellent service and cleanliness. Of course, the holiday decor is a major attraction. Very comfortable setting to socialize with an old friend.

Needed to try the signature Sazirak Cocktail. It was good. Be careful after the first one...

Performed in a band for a wedding at the Roosevelt. Had a wonderful time. The staff was super professional and made everyone in the band feel like we were at hime.

It was gorgeous. Massive interior with high ceilings. Ordered a Sazerac at the bar, was served like royalty. Very enjoyable.

Room was very nice, wonderfully clean. Staff was also very professional and helpful. My only complaint is I couldn't get the blackout curtains in the room closed so I couldn't sleep in.

The pool and bar was very nice. The rooms while not the most spacious are generously decorated.

I had dinner and drinks at the restaurant there and it was perfect. Service, food, atmosphere - it was all exactly, actually, better than I expected.

The suite enabled us to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday with several friends in comfort and style. Ours was the central meeting place each morning and the nightcap each evening because it was convenient, spacious, and elegant.

I thought I was going to experience a wonderful stay, but it all changed when the front desk made a mistake and gave access to my room to a perfect stranger! Security was great at responding to my concerns, but the front desk supervisor wasn't budging on giving me any kind of condolences on the mistake except Internet access--which I found out I was already eligible to receive. Could not sleep due to the feeling that someone was trying to enter my room. I spoke with another guest about my ordeal and was told this isn't "rare" so that's why management didn't jump to make the situation a bigger deal. I'm moving to another hotel. Buyer BEWARE!

Went to the hotel for the lobby bar, Sazerac. Terrific atmosphere, excellent drinks, lovely holiday decorations all throughout the lobby.

Nice lobby, super extravagant but the rooms were super dated--felt haunted. Great place to stay for Halloween.

Stayed for our honeymoon night, the staff there supplied us with champagne and some chocolates. The bathtub was more than large enough for a very relaxing bubble bath, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff at the Roosevelt was outstanding as well

Sazerac Bar is great but getting to be extremely overpriced. $17 for a Sazerac!

Only visited the bar on the ground floor, which was fairly standard. Like most visitors, we were trying to get to the rooftop bar, but that closed at 10pm, strangely.

This is perhaps the best hotel property in all of the deep south.

From the valet, doorman, bellhop, reception desk, the amazing lobby. EVERYONE & everything was fantastic.

As a very frequent traveler, I can safely say this is the nicest hotel i have had the pleasure to frequent. The rooms are gorgeous and amenties are extremely high end, ehich is to be expected at a Waldorf Astoria property. The staff is pleasant and helpful. They make sure you are enjoying your day and are welcomed back. The banquet rooms are just as beautiful and functional as the hotel. I would love to get married here one day!
