Fantastic slice of Roman and Victorian history. Free tour was interesting and the guide was full of character. Loads of detail available on placards and audio guides (including a few by Bill Bryson).

The restored dug out segments and holograms were enlightening.

You can even drink the spring water. It's disgusting but you must do it.

Very atmospheric. Very interesting. Bigger than I remembered, as in, more to see. I loved the way you could see the water coming up through the ground and feel the heat. Only downside were the crowds. Get there early like we did (10am) because by 2pm the queue was very long to get in.

Stunning place, with a rich history. Thoroughly enjoyed venturing around this beautiful place.

The measures put in place for C-19 were very well thought through and executed, though this made the visit a little shorter, it left more time to take in and enjoy the attraction.

There was a rather large queue as you enter the attraction right at the top of the baths at the very start, this was absolutely fine by me as it allowed me to enjoy the sunshine and views of Bath, though I should imagine if the weather were to be less than ideal, it wouldn t be a pleasant wait, especially as mine was 45 minutes!

Overall it was very good and very much enjoyed myself. I would love to visit again sometime.

Massive shout out to the staff who worked tirelessly to ensure it was smooth running.

A real joy to visit. It's busy, so to get a good start to the day, book a time slot online first and just walk right past the crowds. The exhibits are well presented and varied, mixing excavated parts of the baths with museum artifacts and mock ups. Gives a fascinating glimpse into the world of Roman Britain and its people and culture. Interesting enough to keep young kids happy too. Downstairs was the most intriguing for me, where you can walk through the excavated ruins and learn what each section was for. 2 hours was enough for a visit. To get there, it's worth using the park and ride service instead of driving into Bath, as it's quick and cheap. Just look it up online.

Visited here with family yesterday. Overall, it was a nice experience, they have personal audio guides so it's very informative! The baths, stones and statues are great to see in person! Getting around the place (especially in this COVID-19 era is slow) understandably, you have to leave a 2 metre distance between parties, but you're not allowed to overtake those infront of you, so you're everyone is at the mercy of the slowest person/group infront. There are toilets and a gift shop at the end of the route.

Had an excellent time visiting these Roman Baths.
The self guided tour takes around 2 hours and you are added by a walkie talkie type device which talks to you depending on what area you are in. Listening to the commentary is optional.
The baths themselves are fabulous, lots. The history is well explained and there is good use of cgi to illustrate how they would have looked years ago.
At the end, you get to try some of the water - I definitely recommend this as it won't be a taste you'll forget.

Do go. There is so much more than you expect. Although your are in a anchant city with no space to bring back the scale of the Roman settlement, the excursion under the predestrestid areas above does not limited your feeling of the size and importance of this to history.

Of course this place has to be seen if you are visiting Bath, however, the only drawback for me is the price of entry, where I would say you don't get a huge amount of bang for your buck. Yes, there's plenty to see and admire, but there's nothing in the way of interactivity, and for children in particular, it adds up to a pretty dull experience. I've seen it now, and it's one to cross off the list, but I can't say I'd be in a hurry to come back again.

Best few hours visit by a mile. This place is awe inspiring. The personal audio guide device was fantastic - you can listen to a straightforward factual explanation of each part, or key in numbers to listen to Bill Bryson (definitely recommend); there's also "kid-friendly" explanations of certain things and the archaeologist's view point. Sounds like a lot of listening?? It's not - each narration is no more than 30 seconds or so. The different "rooms" of the baths complex are brilliantly brought to life with fantastic projections so you get an amazing sense of the scale, layout and daily functioning of the place. 100% urge you to visit.

Bath is a beautiful and traditionally old city which has maintained its grace and architecture.
Roman Bath belongs to the Roman British time and it was used for public bathing.
Roman bath was a temple , a public bath and also a museum. The public bathing was stopped few decades back due to an incident.

ENTRY TICKET- The cost of the ticket is 16 Pounds.
With that you get the recorded device with the description of the entire museum.

The Bath Abbey is at a walkable distance from here.
Many souvenir stores are outside the museum.

In my opinion its a bit expensive. Its certainly somewhere to visit at least once. It is a museum and no one actually enters the baths waters. We found it very interesting with the audio guide

I knew about this tourist attraction but had not given it much thought beforehand - so as a result I was thoroughly impressed and surprised at how well it was restored and how informative the audio-tour was. I loved exploring the many sections of the baths, especially the underground structures that you just cannot believe are millennia old. Make sure you organise a good couple of hours to spend here and don t rush around!

I came here expecting to stay about an hour, ended up staying 4! The exhibition is well laid out and the audio guide is really handy, allowing you to receive more detailed information on the things you are interested in on demand, and skip the ones you are less in to. The exhibition gives detailed history lesson for you about the baths which I found fascinating. You should definitely go here if you like history!

Great place. So much history. However, I strongly suggest going in the 'off' season if you can. Otherwise there will be many rude people pushing you out of whatever you look at so they can see it.

I lived in Bath for a year while I was doing my master's degree at the university. I've never fallen in love with a city before but I did with Bath, and the Roman Baths were a big part of that. Definitely worth the entrance fee, but take a few hours out of your day for it. You'll need the time to experience the Baths fully. Also, be sure to try the water at the end of the tour. I'm told it's greatvfor your health.

Great museum enhanced with new digital videos added to different bath rooms making the experience very real. The free audio guide has a nice selection for adults and children. Enjoyed my time there. The big bath could be a bit cleaner, there were leaves and other things swimming on it.

Excellent tourist location and historic milestone on English history. Moreover according to the roman bath documentations this is the only natural hot spring in England [might need some clarification ]

Absolutely stunning place that has been very well restored. The museum below has a vast collection of artifacts that are in excellent condition and you can spend several hours here just looking at all the artifacts before you even get to the baths, I would recommend going close to night time so you can see it lit by torches. They also serve champagne and prosecco on the ground floor!

Another great place to visit! Especially if you like ancient Roman culture/history in general! Stunning complex of Roman baths along with multi-language commentary on this this site is quite interesting. You even get a chance to taste already filtered water from spa itself - it is warm. Souvenir shop is included as well.
