Fantastic experience, the tour was greatly enhanced by the free tour handsets that explained about each part of the baths as we went round. Very well organised museum, which allows you to go round at your own pace. Facilities for disabled looked good. Would recommend a visit

Knowing that this is a tourist trap it makes it palatable because it is going to be congested and slow moving for you. The history here and the archaeology that you will get is mind bending.. put this place on your bucket list and plan on being here a couple of hours with the bus ride to get you here an hour too.

Absolutely loved this place. It's a truly unique experience where you can learn a lot about not only Roman Britain but how the British isles used to be during those times and about the Roman empire itself. The time I went there were many staff acting as Roman characters or people that's could have lived around the Romans bath, such as a centurion. Those people were not just actors since one of them asked me where I was from and I told them Argentina, and this person did knew Latin and the etymology of Argentina and so started asking for this land of silver, which was a really good experience.

It's a beautiful and tranquil setting. The audio tour was definitely a highlight as you could pick and mix which parts to take interest in and it is available for children as well as in many languages. The staff were all friendly. It's a very large monument so give yourself more time than you think you need, took us a good 4 hours at least! Will definitely be returning.

After living in the UK for 20 years, Bath is still one of my favourite places, the Roman Baths are a fascinating and beautiful piece of history, I'd strongly recommend visiting, the audio guide gives a brilliant insight into the history of the sight, and makes you feel as though you've stepped into an altogether different era.

So interesting and informative . Great for all ages and such reasonable price for what you get to do and experience . Realy shows you what life was like in roman times by using gab animations. Also , great location as you have fantastic , dramatic view of abbey while walking around the baths !

This is not a place to have a bath :-) for that you must find one of the many spas in the area. As a museum, the Roman Baths is great. It offers an audio guide (included in the price) and lots of written information to take through the amazing experience of being in the same place, around the same structures and stones as people 2000 years ago. Just a bit overzealous with the health and safety, saying that you're not supposed to touch the water.

We had a quick afternoon stop in The Pump Room for tea and scones. They were busy serving afternoon teas and live music was being played on the stage. Beautiful spacious room with a magnificent chandelier. Great tea and very good scones. This is a must see in Bath.

This museum is very interesting and well displayed. Seeing the Roman remains was fascinating! The only let down was the pace of the audio guide. Although enjoyable, we found it rushed you through some parts and held you at others creating a huge amount of human bunching!!!! This got quite frustrating as you felt you couldn t/didn t see everything.

Great day out - spent several hours here learning plenty. Recommend listening to the kids audio guide as well as the adults (even for adults without kids!) as it was fun and very educational. Would have liked to have had more more general information about Roman Britain and how the baths were used but maybe we missed it! Overall well worth the time and money - but dedicate several hours to it!

Not a great experience, audio device ran out of battery half way through tour and staff just said sorry without offering a remedy. The tour is all over the place, would have made more sense for audio stations to increment in order as other attractions do, no idea how they won so many awards I left feeling disappointed and ripped off

Excellent. Interesting audio guide (including one aimed at children). Really liked the fact there were smaller models of the statues for the vision impaired to feel. My 9 year old loved learning all about the Romans and the video projection really helped him visualise how they used the baths.
