Awesome. Museum is great and it is a lovely setting for a wedding!
The Roman baths is a beautiful historic place. They museum have done an excellent job for maintaining it. Gift shops and dining options are available. This place is usually busy.
A beautiful place, showing that Britain has always been made up of different cultures!
Very pretty, good info, crazy crowds. Once I had the rhythm of the tour bus crowds belching thru I was able to take my time and read signs and look at the displays. Worth a visit!
Roan Bath house are very impressive and good, it is really amazing the way these romans in those olden days with limited sources could degine such bath and use the natural gift of hot water spring. Really thoughtful and proof of there great architecture skill.
The Roman Baths were incredible, I would love to come back!
Expect world class and wonderful experiences with lots of tourists.
The queue looked scary from the outside but we were soon in and tromping through. The audio guide has a lot more information but it gets a bit over the top listening to the 3-4 minute blurb on each piece. I suggest you chose the displays that interest you and just use the audio guide on those. Allow at least an hour of you are not using the audio guide and 2+ hours of you are.
A must see exhibit for a real thermal bath in bath.
Well preserved Roman baths. Good museum multiple levels to explore of the site. Lots of people but if you go during non peak times it's much better. The water at the end tastes pretty bad but worth the experience.
How can you not like history of the world. The Romans conquered and held most of the modern world. Established modern cities in England York, Chester, built Hadrians Wall, water systems .Just amazing. The history at Bath is more than just a hot tub the city is really historic. You need more than just a day or two to embrace all this city has to offer historically.
Had a great few hours listening to the commentary and walking around the baths. Really interesting and kids enjoyed it to. Well worth the money.
Very well thought out and put together museum. The sights are amazing and presevered fantastically. Recommend for people of all ages to visit.
We took a day trip here and spent about 2-2.5hours in the Roman baths. If you take a train down there is a 2 for 1 promotion on entry tickets. Tickets are for single entry so plan accordingly!
There are free guided tours every hour when you get to the actual baths. This is after going through the exhibits etc which took us about an hour. The guided tour was fantastic and if you have time do go for it. At the end of the baths there is an option for u to try drinking the water (tastes terrible to me) to round off the experience!
Magnificent archeological site with the remains of ancient Roman baths. A museum is built over the site.
Really worth a trip. Very interesting going through the baths. Really amasing to see ancient plumbing still working today.
Definitely has the Wow factor for the Historic environment and Facts. Wonderful and amazing.
Great history trip! Absolutely worth the money, would love to go again.
The place was packed and they yelled at us for touching the water, but it was awesome. Would touch the water again.
Fantastic guides and marvelous history. Can get very crowded
Bath itself is beautiful as town...museum is interesting... Not tooo much to do in town so i would say a day is enough to explore.
This place is the most incredible place I have ever seen, the whole place is full with history. If you are looking for an incredible vacation this is the perfect place. Just imagine to go back in time and see how the Roman people live back in time.
If you go to Stonehenge buy the trip to the city of Bath. I promise you will not regret it.
Beautiful and historical. Audioguides and free tour included, with a great all-round experience! Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent. Well worth a visit. Take the guided tour.
Interesting history and a crime If you don't visit.
Not the most exiting attraction (It's a swimming pool) but very well done. Definitely not worth the admission fee though. Recommended if you really like baths.
Wonderful Roman site! Crowded but very well presented!
I guess you have to go to the baths whilst in Bath, but they are pretty boring. The city itself was nicer to visit.
We had a great bank holiday weekend in Bath. Roman Baths are great place to visit and met Roman culture. Highly recommend. It is worth to visit.
The baths themselves are interesting and the museum covers their context and history. The museum is way bigger and more detailed than we expected. Very modern approach and excellent possibilities to interact and imagine. We still lost interest about 1/3 through. Not because it wasn't made with love (it is!), but because there was only so much we wanted to know about the baths. Worth a visit!
This could have been a simple museum that displays the artifacts that were found here. Instead, the visitor center was a great walk through the societal history of the baths along with architectural science of how the baths were made!
Very pleasant day out! Don't try the 'spring' water though....
The audio tour and the layout of this place was great. The information was detailed, easy to follow and highly informative.
It feels like you walked into the past the instant you walk in. There is an information point every corner which means its hard to get bored.
Well worth a visit. We went later in the day 4pm once the queue had died down.
Surprisingly in-depth museum/exhibit which the Baths are a centerpiece of. I thought it would just be paying 15 GBP to see that baths, but there was in fact a lot more. Alot approx 2-3 hours here for the full experience. Can be done in as little to 1-1.5.
Fascinating and informative. Great experience. Quite pricy, though.
A great part of history! Well structured with with signs and plenty of staff to direct you, whilst maintaining safe distancing. Lots of information given through self guide tour.
Worth the price of admission! This is an amazing historic site that is well-curated. An audio guide takes you through the exhibits and explains artifacts throughout. There are several interesting stories incorporated into the exhibits as well. This is a very unique place in the UK that should definitely be a must-see if visiting Bath or the surrounding area in the Cotswolds
Much more to the Roman baths than you expect from the outside. We walked through it all in just over an hour but would have been ideal to have 2 or 2.5 hours. Bought tickets online outside and walked right in without waiting for in the long line. You aren t cutting as they have a dedicated online ticket entry inside (or did when we went there). Many picture worthy opportunities and the history is fantastic. Will likely go back when we have more time.
A good experience
Audio guide excellent
More original building than I'd expexted
One off the best place to visit. We will not believe that you are in UK .
60 mins to finish this tour. Beautiful surrounding architecture
There is no words to describe this place. I will just say "A MUST TO VISIT PLACE " / "NAVE MISS OUT CHANCE TO VISIT ". Even staff over there are so polite n friendly u want imagine.
Another UNESCO World Heritage tourist attraction Roman Bath in Bath City, England
The route was a bit short for the price and it is really crowded. Though I still think this is a must-visit place in Bath to learn about its history.
Fascinating. Excellent displays, interesting & engaging audio guide and the Baths are so well preserved. a treasure
Fascinating structure to visit. Just don't touch the water! It's not cleaned or filtered.
Just really cool. Definitely use the audio tour to get the full experience. There is a children's audio tour, as well.
Awesome piece of art and history. Worth the trip! The museum part can be crowded but overal very interesting!
What a historical place! Bought my ticket online. Scanned and got through quickly but It was the last 2 hours of admission. This place is BEAUTIFUL. Do take the free tour guide on every hour. VERY INFORMATIVE. Staffs were friendly. So much history!
Absolutely amazing place to visit. Been here a good 4 times now. Nice to hear about the history of the Romans. Definitely worth a visit if you are coming to Bath.
It is a must and great visit in Bath, with a great exposition and recreation of how the original Roman baths were. The visit can take you from 1,5 to 3 hours. They show you the whole building, and the ticket includes the audioguide, that is really helpful. There are videos recreating how it was 2000 years ago. You can see the great bath (outdoor) and the rest of rooms of this site. Completely recommendable !!
Interesting place to learn about Roman bath culture
Amazing place where you can learn so much the history of Bath and the Romans. It is a bit expensive but worth every penny.
Excellent slice of history. There was far more of the actual baths to see than I anticipated. It was certainly bigger than I first thought. The addition of portable audio guides are fab. You choose what area or item you want a narrative on
Beautiful site with pectacular museums. A little expensive though
Good place to visit. Audio guide gives a lot of information and is quite interesting as well.
Very interesting and made all the more enjoyable by the wonderfully enthusiastic guide Ellie.
Amazing well-presented historic site. The free audio guide is excellent. In spite of taking you through ruins 4m below street level, the design does a good job of orienting you as if you were a Roman visitor.
It's very interesting but go early to avoid the crowds
Team very very lovely
Very well guided
Amazing place to make memories
A national treasure giving a palpable sense of connection with our ancient past. The much more modern Roman statues beautifully set the scene in this well preserved historic treasure. The rest of the tour will show you parts of the temple linked to the structure with a more aged feel. The notes from long gone denizens etched in metal plates asking the gods to help with petty thefts were downright fascinating. Well worth a visit if, like me, you like your Roman history.
A excellent day out it would have been better if we had better weather it rain most of the day.
I loved it before and still love it till now. The history is just amazing!
Our guide to the Roman baths was super! Joshua spent extra time with us, answered all our questions to the best of his ability, and was friendly and warm.
Nice historical site to visit if you are interested in Roman history.
great atmosphere. old history good scenary. should do
When in Bath this is a compulsory place to stop by.
Beautifully organised. A place to stop and go back in time . Don't rush your visit, enjoy it!
