The queue looked scary from the outside but we were soon in and tromping through. The audio guide has a lot more information but it gets a bit over the top listening to the 3-4 minute blurb on each piece. I suggest you chose the displays that interest you and just use the audio guide on those. Allow at least an hour of you are not using the audio guide and 2+ hours of you are.

Well preserved Roman baths. Good museum multiple levels to explore of the site. Lots of people but if you go during non peak times it's much better. The water at the end tastes pretty bad but worth the experience.

How can you not like history of the world. The Romans conquered and held most of the modern world. Established modern cities in England York, Chester, built Hadrians Wall, water systems .Just amazing. The history at Bath is more than just a hot tub the city is really historic. You need more than just a day or two to embrace all this city has to offer historically.

We took a day trip here and spent about 2-2.5hours in the Roman baths. If you take a train down there is a 2 for 1 promotion on entry tickets. Tickets are for single entry so plan accordingly!

There are free guided tours every hour when you get to the actual baths. This is after going through the exhibits etc which took us about an hour. The guided tour was fantastic and if you have time do go for it. At the end of the baths there is an option for u to try drinking the water (tastes terrible to me) to round off the experience!

This place is the most incredible place I have ever seen, the whole place is full with history. If you are looking for an incredible vacation this is the perfect place. Just imagine to go back in time and see how the Roman people live back in time.
If you go to Stonehenge buy the trip to the city of Bath. I promise you will not regret it.

The baths themselves are interesting and the museum covers their context and history. The museum is way bigger and more detailed than we expected. Very modern approach and excellent possibilities to interact and imagine. We still lost interest about 1/3 through. Not because it wasn't made with love (it is!), but because there was only so much we wanted to know about the baths. Worth a visit!

This could have been a simple museum that displays the artifacts that were found here. Instead, the visitor center was a great walk through the societal history of the baths along with architectural science of how the baths were made!

The audio tour and the layout of this place was great. The information was detailed, easy to follow and highly informative.
It feels like you walked into the past the instant you walk in. There is an information point every corner which means its hard to get bored.

Surprisingly in-depth museum/exhibit which the Baths are a centerpiece of. I thought it would just be paying 15 GBP to see that baths, but there was in fact a lot more. Alot approx 2-3 hours here for the full experience. Can be done in as little to 1-1.5.

Worth the price of admission! This is an amazing historic site that is well-curated. An audio guide takes you through the exhibits and explains artifacts throughout. There are several interesting stories incorporated into the exhibits as well. This is a very unique place in the UK that should definitely be a must-see if visiting Bath or the surrounding area in the Cotswolds

Much more to the Roman baths than you expect from the outside. We walked through it all in just over an hour but would have been ideal to have 2 or 2.5 hours. Bought tickets online outside and walked right in without waiting for in the long line. You aren t cutting as they have a dedicated online ticket entry inside (or did when we went there). Many picture worthy opportunities and the history is fantastic. Will likely go back when we have more time.

It is a must and great visit in Bath, with a great exposition and recreation of how the original Roman baths were. The visit can take you from 1,5 to 3 hours. They show you the whole building, and the ticket includes the audioguide, that is really helpful. There are videos recreating how it was 2000 years ago. You can see the great bath (outdoor) and the rest of rooms of this site. Completely recommendable !!

Excellent slice of history. There was far more of the actual baths to see than I anticipated. It was certainly bigger than I first thought. The addition of portable audio guides are fab. You choose what area or item you want a narrative on

Amazing well-presented historic site. The free audio guide is excellent. In spite of taking you through ruins 4m below street level, the design does a good job of orienting you as if you were a Roman visitor.

A national treasure giving a palpable sense of connection with our ancient past. The much more modern Roman statues beautifully set the scene in this well preserved historic treasure. The rest of the tour will show you parts of the temple linked to the structure with a more aged feel. The notes from long gone denizens etched in metal plates asking the gods to help with petty thefts were downright fascinating. Well worth a visit if, like me, you like your Roman history.
