Best few hours visit by a mile. This place is awe inspiring. The personal audio guide device was fantastic - you can listen to a straightforward factual explanation of each part, or key in numbers to listen to Bill Bryson (definitely recommend); there's also "kid-friendly" explanations of certain things and the archaeologist's view point. Sounds like a lot of listening?? It's not - each narration is no more than 30 seconds or so. The different "rooms" of the baths complex are brilliantly brought to life with fantastic projections so you get an amazing sense of the scale, layout and daily functioning of the place. 100% urge you to visit.
