It's off putting at times when you pay to visit major attractions and their in the middle of cleaning or repairing. It wasn't just the baths it almost seems to be in every major attraction.

Highly recommended. Thoroughly interesting and informative. If you have any questions ask any of the friendly staff who are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great use of headsets; you choose the content and the context of the information based on the character you listen to, and at your own pace.

If you are in Bath or near London the museum and baths are awesome!!!it was crowded in the day. We went back around 4 pm and it was much better. The history, architecture, engineering are astounding! It is well presented and an organized journey through the museum. Take the red double decker bus as well. Great information via headsets, about the city. The dress museum was a neat stop too. It's a quicker museum to go through but fun to see changes of clothing as the years have gone by.

Very good tour. The audio guide was very helpful in learning about the history of the baths. Only thing was the social distancing line which was a bit of a pain and some ppl weren't adhering it.

A fascinating glimpse into history. If you're serious about looking into our past then allow plenty of time. The ushers recommend about one and a half hours. If you want to listen to all of the documentaries on the supplied audio guide and experience the Baths in full then I would suggest two to three hours is more likely. A quick walk through is still worth a visit for those who just want a look at how things used to be. Be aware that much of the Baths is underground as street levels have risen over the millennia. There are lifts, however, for those not so light on their feet.

I love going to this museum.. it is very nice to look around a Roman site with so much to see... the audio guides are great and as there is a childs version too you cant go wrong...

Bath and north east Somerset residents can get in for free with a discovery card... otherwise admittedly it can get pretty expensive pretty quickly.

Well worth a visit especially if you are local...

What a great museum. Lots to learn. Do not make the same mistake as us allow yourself lots of time as there is lots too see and hear with the audio guide. If you have kids they have also something for them. Really good.

Some nice items at a range of prices. Don't feel obliged and you might have enough money to get into the Abbey... Unless there is an organ recital on in which case they'll guilt you out the side door.

There is so much more at the aroman Baths than I expected. We learned so much about the place and it's history, and it's a rather large archaeological complex beyond the main bath itself, which is stunning to see.

Fantastic place to discover some great roman history. The detailed audio guide is fantastic but wished it had earphones instead of holding it up to my head like a mobile phone. The things that are seen in the baths make the visit worth while just to take a brief look into what the Romans did for leasure and even the healing factors from their beliefs in the waters. A must visit

VERY. VERY EXPENSIVE - ESPECIALLY FOR FAMILIES
This place is SO small, and for the price...it may not be worth it, other than the fact that it is pretty famous.

They definitely have made the most of the space inside with modern and interesting displays...but in the end...it's just WAY overpriced for something that doesn't quite compare to so many of the Roman sites around Europe.

If you're on your own...go. If you have kids and don't own a yacht...maybe avoid.
