The weather did not spoil the walk around these phenomenal gardens, recently voted the third best in the world!
Even on a Misty, rainy day, the views were amazing. The Italian Gardens were very nice but the Japanese Gardens were beautiful.
The shops inside the house itself are interesting with lots to choose from food to clothes.

Very expensive and over rated, worth a visit just to tick it off your bucket list, but be prepared .

Place is Ok to watch for Flowers and walking around in grass.

This is one of the most impressive visitor destinations in Ireland. Avoca food is excellent, the gardening shop is full of unusual stuff, and the gardens are breathtaking. Good golf courses too

Total rip off. The gardens are pretty, but no one tells you that you pay all that money to get there and you can't go in the house.

Private farm converted into a tourist center: golf course, shops, cafeteria ... The gardens can be visited but for a fee.

Historical magical locale - even a chilly day could not take away from this place

Lovely place. Brings you back to the 18th century. Wonderful coffee shop with amazing views. No words for the garden. A must in you are in the area.

A nice vista with restaurants and merchandise galore . Great until the coach loads of tourists arrive.10 euro to go into the garden? That's steeper than the adjacent hills

Well worth a visit. Lovely gardens, well kept. Japanese garden beautiful. Was particularly proud of the beautiful gates being well maintained in the black and gold leaf, unlike other countries.

Lovely spot, worth a visit for some Avoca cake and a great garden centre with wide variety of stock.

Beautiful. Visited coffee shop, had coffee with scones ( jam and cream).Say outside on the terrace. No rush to move on. Then we visited the gardens. Pure magic and so peaceful.

Great place for a walk, Japanese garden section is very peaceful, hard to avoid international schools making this peaceful experience a teenage drama :( nice cafe with tasty wraps and nice shopping section for Irish souvenirs

These gardens are gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. I understand why they were voted 3rd most beautiful in the world. 10 entry for adults and free for under 5 (yay), the gardens offer a few hours worth of wandering through manicured lawns, borders, and a children's play tower (so much money eh?). The Japanese garden is not the best I've seen, missing the raked pebble section, but it does offer secret mossy grottos and a number of water falls. Very glad to have visited these beautiful gardens.

Fab is the only word done a wedding there on sat stunning

Not only is the place beautiful, but in the cafeteria (expensive by our standards) they make great coffee and have delicious cakes and pies!

Magical place to have a wedding with beautiful gardens and sceneries and the nearby powerscourt waterfalls was also amazing to visit
