A must-see place if you are a photographer or love taking photographs. The grounds are simply stunning. I've been there in winter fall and summer and all three of those seasons still have incredible landscaping, plants flowering, and incredible arrays of trees;

This is well worth a trip. The gardens are beautiful and you can spend many happy hours wandering around. We loved the tower and the Japanese garden. The walking guide is very interesting so make sure you pick one up.

Husband waited ages for our coffee's as only one barista staff coping with long queue. My capuchino was flat & bitter tasting. When I returned it for a replacement I was left waiting another 6 minutes while the young guy made the coffee's for the people who were waiting. V bad customer service. Avoca.......Have more staff making coffee's on a busy Sunday please. Will have my coffee in nearby hotel in future

OK, lets start with a real review of the gardens and they are well worth a visit. I loved the statues, the large pond and the many fountain, I loved the Japanese garden, the water features, the tower and gun turrets but by far my favorite was the amazing garden that looked like it came from another planet, it was rocky, green, full of moss and mysterious, I loved it. But my photos will show you that in Powerscourt grounds there is more than enough to photograph and explore outside the gardens. You have the hotel and grounds, the golf club and the long walk from the main gate. You will find plenty to do even if you never get inside the grounds. Have a look at these photos and see it for yourself. You could easily spend a whole day here just exploring all it has to offer. Enjoy

Great place to visit, staff were polite and very friendly.
Alot of effort keeping the gardens tidy and ready for public view so paying 10 euro is nothing really.

Avoca is really nice, its expensive but there is alternatives.

Finally visited the waterfall, nice views. My only issue is there should be there someone monitoring the people. Barbecues mixed with drink could be messy

This is a beautiful day out, visiting Powerscourt House, which is in fantastic condition, the wonderful gardens with their flowers, plants and shrubs and the fabulous waterfall.To top off the experience you can call on the 5 star Powerscourt Hotel for afternoon tea, or alternatively play a round of golf on one of the two challenging golf courses.

Wonderful place to visit, also if you want to go with children. A beautiful and well served garden, the tower and the fonts. We also had lunch at the cafe, the terrace is lovely for a sunny or cloudy day! Perfect for a one day trip from Dublin. We'll be back soon, I hope

Gardens of extremely rare beauty! Maintained by about fifty gardeners and on a vast ground, the visit of these makes us pass through different universes: Japanese, Italian, French ... Not to be missed by a day of good weather!

Have been here many times as it is not far from home. Lovely gardens, a favorite with all our visitors. Lovely shop for a picnic selection if you are heading out for a hike or just back from one. There is usually a good buzz around all the holidays and they usually arrange something nice for the kids.

Very nice, well-kept garden in a fantastic location. Audio guides in many languages at no extra charge. The restaurant is also worth a visit. Highly recommended for the whole family. About the audio guides there are special puzzles and search games in the garden so that it is boring neither smaller nor larger visitors.
