Very nice place near Dublin, easy access by Dublin Bus too. Very nice restaurant and cafe with a nice view or if you fancy a walk in the gardens just need to buy the ticket, it's well worth it.

Beautiful and the price is worth the visit. The park is very large and divided into an Italian garden, with different levels and a 'telescope' that allows you to admire the opposite hill. The Japanese garden is splendid, although the best part remains the dolphin and triton fountain.

It is literally amazing. The gardens are incredible. Both the Italian garden and the Japanese one are pretty beautiful, but the most surprising part in my opinion are the ponds. The dolphin one, even if it's the smaller, is the best one.

Amazing gardens at Powers Court. Nice tour, plan on spending a few hours, it's like walking through a fairy tale. We walked up from the little town and it was a bit of a hike, but well worth it.

Beautiful grounds on a sunny day. Make sure to come here if you haven't already. I took my family when they came to visit Dublin and they absolutely loved it. Finish off the walk around the grounds with a soup and sandwich from Avoca - tasty.

You have to see them. They are beautiful. They are not very big but being able to walk through them and have a drink on the terrace of the cafeteria with its wonderful views, makes you enjoy an idyllic afternoon.

We visited on cold and windy February afternoon. Our feet freezing to the ground and it still didn't stop us from venturing through these beautiful gardens.
There is a voiceover for the entire garden - you receive a small device and just touch small points all around the place to get to know the area better - they even have small games for families and kids to follow, I think the idea is great.
Also the Japanese garden part was very romantic, even in winter (we even saw frog eggs which is not very romantic but super interesting!)
9/10 would do again in the late spring.

I loved powerscourt gardens but I thought if you had paid to see the garden to visit the water falls should have been free. It cost 6 per head to see the waterwalls and i thought it wasn't worth it.

A beautiful garden. The Japanese part if you arrive at the time of flowering is great. The cemetery for animals is an anachronism excision. Do not neglect the tea room with cakes that are a killer.

Lovely walks and views, especially when the weather is nice. There are plenty of trails in the hills around the area too just look for a local car park on Google maps and it'll more than likely be a trail head. Check the car parking times though because the gates get closed at different times and you could get trapped inside.

This was the first place we visited after arriving in Ireland. The views did not disappoint. The gardens are beautiful, especially looking out from an elevated position down at the pond and fountain. The green Irish hills as a backdrop to the gardens are absolutely beautiful as well. We really enjoyed taking the stroll through the Japanese gardens on the property and enjoying the beauty there as well as admiring the springs through the rocks and seeing the green plants growing right out of the cracks in the rocks. It's definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere near the area.
