Beautiful place, great to walk around on a nice day. Pet cemetery is definitely something interesting to check out.
Unfortunately not really nice spots to sit - if this place has a proper restaurant it would've been perfect.
Beautiful day, beautiful gardens, fantastic scenery. All in all, makes for a fantastic engagement spot (10/10, would recommend to a friend!!)
Wonderful place to stroll. Beautiful greenery, views, and flowers
Excellent. Recommended to spend a full day or more ... your tea and your s ... fabulous !!!!
How can it not be a lovely experience at powerscourt house. Only thing stopping 5 stars is amount to go into the gardens, just wouldn't pay it.
Stunning scenery and lovely expensive shops to buy and browse around .Gardens are magnificent in Spring and summer can get a bit crowded in their cafe Avoca
Amaziningly beautiful gardens, pricey but lively food and friendly staff.
Beautiful garden for walks, food is delicious, loads of shopping an great garden centre
This place is definitely worth a visit when traveling south of Dublin. We were lucky because of the clear blue sky and sunny weather during our visit. The gardens are a beautiful place for a stroll and there's a large playground for the More
Interesting, but for the fee, I was expecting more in interactive displays and detail in movies presentations.
A wonderful place for special Japanese gardens. You can rest on the benches. Full of greenery and flowers. Restaurant and shops. It's worth going.
Very nice a beautiful place to visit on EnnisKerry County Wicklow
visted powerscourt gardens and waterfall brilliant time we had highly recommend it beautiful well kept gardens and house can't fault it in anyway love the pets graveyard sad but lovely seen the tree the king of England planted in 1911 I think it was. lot of history at the expense of us irish....be visting it again
Absolutely stunning grounds! A truly magical place. I will return.
Nice views over Sugar Loaf on the way in but the masses come here in droves. Not relaxing like it should be - far too many people, vying for space, pushing.
But I asked a worker in the garden centre, do they welcome well behaved dogs on leads into their garden centre and they do. Hence the four star review (for welcoming my dog and myself)! Better I would think on a weekday! Weekends mean falling over people everywhere and vying for a parking space and not being able to find a table to eat at ..... City living at its ugliest!
Absolutely beautiful, if you're anywhere near, you must stop in...
A lovely day to be spent in a very green area, alone or with your family. Gorgeous Gardens, elegant shops, beautiful terrace.
Very spectacular site, to walk through its gardens quietly if the weather accompanies. We were part of the Wicklow Tour and it pays a lot, I am not sure if it is worth paying the ticket that I think is around 10 to go for free, since the tour of the gardens is not especially long. Beyond the spectacular of the palace itself, its views and its landscaped environment the rest is for tourists, that is, shops with a thousand types of typical products at the typical prices for tourists. We were lucky that it made us good and we really enjoyed it. It can also be said that there are usually many groups and that the audio guide (it is free) but it does not work.
A nostalgic visit . Always visit when in the city of my birth. Stunning gardens
Amazing place, great atmosphere, views breathtaking
Spectacular gardens, views and landscape. A must see!
Powerscourt contain an Avoca restaurant and shops and an excellent place to explore. It also has a garden centre and is opposite a golf course. Do visit the nearby Powerscourt Waterfall if your visiting the area.
Fantastic garden. Multiple areas with different landscaping, incl a small Japanese garden! Worth a visit
We loved this place and could have spent all day just strolling around it. Bring some food and drink of your own and make a day of it with the family.
Lovely gardens with fantastic view of the sugarloaf mountain. Autumn is a great time to visit with the changing leaves on display. Avoca restaurant full of nice cakes n lunch options. Garden centre on site also.
Built in the 1820s, it is famous for its open and pleasant scenery, well-designed sculptures, terraces and pools. Dolphin pond, pet cemetery, garden with exotic flowers and plants, towering trees, pepper pot tower, Bolse Building and Bolse Falls. There is also a guide. Was shortlisted in [National Geographic] the world's top ten gardens. Come to see it in person to feel her beauty, the photos are greatly reduced.
Thanks to the sunny day the tour in the garden was amazing. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature.
A very beautiful place, just gorgeous. But there is one drawback - there are not enough trash cans .
Beautiful house and gardens. Distillery also open to visitors but we didn't do it on the day. Lovely garden centre plus furniture, household items etc. Nice children's corner with books, hand puppets, and soft toys. Staff in here particularly friendly and helpful.
Nice restaurant which is nearly always busy but substantial seating area. Also some seating in outside courtyard. Not sure if you could bring your own picnic to this area. Icecream comes available here too, 2euro for a regular one.
Large parking areas.
Beautiful Estate and gardens. Takes around 3 hours to go around the gardens at your own pace.
This place is beautiful. I will definitely be going back here again. The gardens are kept and maintained so well. There are plenty of walks and a multitude of flowers and trees to look at. The cafe is also nice, though slightly on the expensive side. And the staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to spend the day or a few hours at least.
It's not actually my experience but a guest I have staying with me recently visited and was disappointed to find she and her companions couldn't get to the waterfall as it was too far. Why don't you run shuttlebusses for tourist to get there?
Beautiful gardens, beautifully maintained. Safety pin!
No mater what's the time of the year, the gardens are so pretty and we'll maintained. There is Avoca restaurant on the grounds and few shops too
A stunning part of Ireland. I would recommend it to everyone to go see it.
Very relaxing environment. Garden centre is very good value too :)
Beautiful views of the Wicklow Hills. Lovely place to have a coffee, a snack enjoy the view. Garden is faboulas
Gardens were lovely. Well maintained and well worth a visit
A wonderful place to visit
Garden flower trees a lot of green
Excellent garden centre. Lovely spot to find that special present or gift.
You should have seen it. Various themed gardens, wonderful for hiking, exquisite shops, good restaurants, fantastic views and views.
The palace, although very beautiful, offers no differentiated experience, as it consists of shops and restaurants, but the gardens are very beautiful.
So if you want to spend a few hours looking at beautiful gardens, this place is ideal.
Note: the waterfall is far from the Palace and you will have to overpay to see it.
We celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary with a beautiful lunch just mouth watering. l also had a lovely desert but l was very very disappointed. l thought l was getting a little more than 1 tiny piece that just sat on my tongue but otherwise my day at powerscourt was just magic. Roll on next time p.g. lv
Relaxing tour in touch with nature, beautiful place.
Fantastic park especially in spring x the blooming of roses and flowers, inside there is the tower of Rapunzel
Lovely outdoor setting Food high standard ..over priced
Lovely spot 2 golf course,s house and gardens ,hotel ,and waterfall.
Beautiful large gardens with very old trees and magnificent view of Sugar Loaf mountain from the castle terrace. Approximately 1-2 hours walking tour. Interesting Japanese garden with grotto. Stunning view of the Powerscourt castle over the fountain of Triton lake.
pity it costs ao much in. 10.50 for adult . also the food is expensive but it is delicious 16.40 minimum for a hot food.. per person. plus coffee....
wonderful gardens and exotic trees, in my oppinion its top mich Text in the audio guide but its very nice to visit
Had a great time walking around the gardens and the garden centre has so many great plants
