Beautiful flowers, trees and scenery all around. Very 'zen' kind of place to go for a hike and enjoy fresh air!
Some of the best gardens on the east coast of Ireland and close to Dublin. You can get good food in the restaurant and Avoca hand weavers have an outlet there for high quality wool clothes and rugs etc. It's possible to get a year's membership so you can walk the gardens, see the waterfall and stroll along the River walk as often as you like.
The garden is wonderful here!
The atmosphere is the best!
The souvenirs were also substantial!
Great facility-wages. There is even a distillery there
Beautiful area lovely, long walk, Japanese gardens my favourite.
Very very beautiful gardens. I think it costed 8-9 Euro for student admission. Great place and would love to go again with my loved ones.
Superb staff particularly in the toy section. Exceptionally helpful
No need to praise powerscourt its famous and worth every cent of the entrance fee.
Beautiful grounds to walk through and the food is excellent.
Very beautiful and picturesque place to relax with the family and for photo sessions, the place is very large with beautiful flowers, the picturesque landscape of the Wicklow mountains after a long walk you can always stop for a coffee and cake in the open air with a view of the water and mountains in the shop you can buy regional products
Gardens beautiful cafe lovely & garden shop great..
10 euro for adult ticket. The garden is beautiful but a little small, if 10 include the water wall it would more better. I don t want to pay another just for waterfall and we need to drive for watching the waterfall. Weather is nice and many types of trees. Good to go at autumn.
If you like walking and a nature scene this is for you
Beautiful expansive gardens and estate! Don't miss the little tower, climb to the top for some good views! Food is a little pricey but good.
Amazing waterfalls, beautiful scenery and lovely food ant great prices
Gardens very well maintained and with audio guide in several languages and audio guides with games for children
A nice garden, rather commercial, a good afternoon out. Not sure the gardens are the best, but nicely laid out.
Pretty ok, not overly impressed, however my wife liked it a lot (especially the Japanese garden).
Great place and wonderful customer service by Aoife. Highly recommend for days out, walks or annual membership
Well worth the visit. It's a bit of a trek up the mountain, a bus or car. It is good to check the weather forecast before you go. The Gardens are well worth a wonder, with many photo opportunities. There is a cafe, and distillery tours.
I mixed up with my order and I was apologized and get free desert. Great service.
Spent 2 hours with my family there - really enjoyed the lunch
Spectacular gardens, lots of trees, plants and flowers
And you exercise a lot, ready to walk
Amazing place, beautiful garden and flowers, good place for walk, relax and more...
It's a castle with gardens like you really see in princess movies. Very nice, very careful, they give you the desire to stay leaning on the most beautiful lawn. Beeeeello !!! I do not know can stop visiting
Ireland's highest waterfall, well worth seeing!
The last bus station is about 5 km away. It is very difficult to get there on foot, a winding country road, for the most part without a pedestrian path. Better to go there by car or taxi
Lovely place to visit. Beautiful gardens. It's a place you can visit over and over again. Lovely scenery, shops geared towards the export market. It has a lovely restaurant with good food for reasonable prices.
A gorgeous place to visit the house itself is not much to see but check out the Avoca store and don't forget to visit Tara's Dollhouse Museum it is superb and the volunteers are absolutely brilliant. The grounds are spectacular anytime of year a very impressive place to visit with lots to see.
Well worth the admittance fee. Best enjoyed in full daylight although coming in just before twilight also gives the gardens a magical atmosphere!
Fab hotel and golf courses and the gardens of Powerscourt House are pretty enthralling!!
From the gorgeous location in a scenic Wicklow valley to the hospitality of the staff and the beauty of the hotel itself, everything was right to make our stay here a warm and memorable occasion. Paid 235 for one night's accommodation and breakfast which I consider good value for what you get in return. Happy to recommend and look forward to returning again soon.
Beautiful gardens. Spent our afternoon walking through the magnificent gardens. So peaceful and wonderful.
We went for a day trip .fab place had lunch a little on the expensive side.but food was fab . I say it would be amazing in the summer
Beautiful scenery. Nice place to walk around and take pictures. Being there will make you feel like you re in a different time. The place is very well kept.
Who likes classical English or French gardens with clear structures. Visited heavily touristy. Shopping mall. Everything for the classic tourist. Price means. There are much nicer gardens in the area
It is a beautiful garden and a place for relaxation
This place is stunning even on a rainy day. For me the bonus was finding the graveyard (not the pet cemetary) at the end which is not mentioned in the brochure. Plenty to look at for everyone. Worth the entry fee. Cafe/restaurant is a bit expensive. If you're a family on a budget, would recommend to bring a packed lunch. I would come back.
Lovely place to visit , beautifui gardens very recomended
Beautiful gardens in a fabulous setting. Be sure to check out the pet cemetery and pay your respects to Eugene the cow.
This is a Downton Abbey experience full of Irish culture landscapes distilleries garden centres coffee shops and golf to make the heart beat fast
Beautiful, serene, peaceful. Huge area and always mesmerized with the awesome gardens. Has a great cafe too. Do also visit Powerscourt waterfall.
One of the most picturesque places in Ireland. In April-May you will be delighted with the riot of colors of the blooming garden. Great gift shops and cafes.
Great day out for family and friends but mostly seasonal as I can't see it being a great day during the winter
Can't beat a stroll round powerscourt gardens on a sunny afternoon. Actually it's lovely any time of year so buy a season ticket. Food in restaurant is nice very similar to Avoca. Can be busy but eating outside on a sunny day is so nice bring the children make a day of it. Stores inside ridiculously priced but sure if you have the money buy a trinket or two. Has disabled entrance and toilets with baby changing area.
Beautiful place near from Dublin. Maybe a bit small.
A wonderful tour with gorgeous gardens, very interesting and authentic furnishings. Friendly tour guides with great respectful attitudes.
This place will change you view of life and the outdoors. There is no other place like it.
