The staff and rooms are phenomenal! Great place for the family!! We love the treasure chest at check in and the valet for the La Ferrari, too!

Fantastic hotel perched atop a cliff overlooking the beach with Catalina in the distance. The service is incredible, the restaurant and bars fantastic, and the view unbeatable.

Lovely location, live performer was good, heat lamps were appreciated, wait staff were lovely, just want more gin based cocktails. Scotch list was quite nice

The service was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Made us feel very comfortable during our stay. I'm giving it 4 stars because I thought our room could have had a more luxurious feel to it since it's so expensive and walls were pretty thin. We could hear our neighbors through the walls.

However, as an account holder, I can't book ahead at the lower rate unless I want to pay the standard rate. You would think being a regular that They would hook me up, but I'm sure that's how they are able to keep that tunnel going!

Beautiful, expensive, hotel lobby is a long way from the elevators. The suite was big and beautiful with a great view of the pool.

Lovely patio to enjoy a glass of wine. A bit disappointed with the lack of umbrella shade and the staffs reluctance to move them around.

Hands down this is the best hotel I have ever been too. Our family travels quite a bit because my husband travels for work. We have to travel to CA to see my neurosurgeon periodically. We are Marriott platinum members and used points to take our whole family to Laguna Niguel Ritz. We have three young kids. They spoiled us rotten! We stayed there two nights. They provided complimentary beach butler service and the staff (Tom Do and Jon Broadman) were so thoughtful and kind when they brought the chairs, towels and umbrellas to the beach they also brought water, sunscreen and beach toys! They left us with parting gifts (beach toys and bracelets and sunglasses and handwritten notes). Our kids received a pile of gifts upon checking in and checking out (kites, puzzles, floor puzzle, bath bombs, stain glass art kits, coloring books, waterproof blu tooth speaker!), thank you Leslie Harper and Andrea Greene!! We had sparkling cider and cookies left in our room and custom made food for all our food sensitivities. The ENTIRE staff was amazing!! The hotel was beautiful and when we got there they gave us four choices of beautiful views/rooms we could pick from. The valet service was quick and super friendly and I really loved that they didn't force their way to carry your luggage, you could carry it on your own if you want (we always like to carry it on our own). We have stayed at other Ritz locations and they were amazing but this particular Ritz shines bright in every area. Beautiful scenery, rooms, hotel, people, service, everything!! Will definitely go there again!!

Excellent service and unbeatable views. Get to breakfast early for a good table and make sure to have a drink at the bar.

The driveway to the hotel was poorly marked and we missed it. However, the service was great once we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the valet drivers. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views of the ocean and hillside are so picturesque. It's a lovely place for a wedding or a weekend getaway with your significant other or your family!

I booked a room for days before my arrival. Beware read your cancellation policy very carefully. If you book within the seven day cancellation policy you automatically can t cancel. This is why I stay at the Saint Regis the Ritz Carlton is horrible. Buyer beware!

I stayed in the main hall for my meeting. It was clean, as well as the men's restrooms. I liked the experience.

Absolutely beautiful. Both the rooms as well as the scenic views. The Ritz placed our Valentine's Day dinner reservations, and reserved us a table at an already booked ocean front restaurant, with a front row seat of the Pacific Ocean. We stayed in an ocean view room and woke to the view and sounds of the waves rolling onto the shore. We ordered breakfast to our room just so we could enjoy the tranquility as we ate. The beds are the most comfortable and luxurious beds imaginable, truly like sleeping on a cloud. It was over all the greatest hotel experience we've ever had. I'd give it ten stars if it were possible.

Ana was not very friendly. I was disappointed as we are platinum members and didn't get the service as expected from this Ritz-Carlton!

The Ritz-Carlton at Laguna Nigel was great! Clean rooms, friendly and professional staff. The burger at 180 lounge is worth getting. There are 2 pools so you can always visit another one if one is too crowded.

My wife and me enjoyed in the bar yummy dinner.Server Alfanzo was amazing we purchased Wine and Salad for appetizers, salmon with vegetable and bread combined with was hot and healthy.Ken server take excellent care of us.Bar air is quite nice,so we love having conversation using bar tenders.

Yea I was gonna stay a week but I was working so had to leave treated me like a king and I'm just a bus driver maybe next time

Great location but the property is aging for the price they charge. Rooms and furniture are getting old and need rehabilitation.

Incredible service as you'd expect from the Ritz, but what's so breathtaking here is the view and proximity to the beach. You can watch and drink while overlooking the gorgeous bay and walk down to the beach within a couple of minutes

Don't trust the valet. They lost our keys and Kevin, the manager, would not take responsibility or help in our desperate time of need.

I had so much fun all alone on my Staycation. I went swimming in the middle of the night I loved it so much. I walked the beach. Nathan (blonde yoing man) was so sweet n helpful n funny. Thanks Ritz Carlton.

What a great surrounding location ! San Clemente, Dana Point & especially Laguna Beach !!!!

The service was amazing. Probably our first and last stay at a Ritz-Carlton but it was worth it. The luxury was amazing. The valet staff greeted us by name and walked us to the reception deck. Maybe it was because we looked out of place, maybe it was because that is what they do. It was a nice gesture either way.
The beer at blu180 was half the price as the pool bar. We had dinner at Raya. They took diet restrictions seriously and remade a dish which caused a delay in our meal. The server explained the delay which was reassuring. Breakfast the next morning was at the marketplace.
They provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We walked down to the beach but took the shuttle back up the hill.
Thanks to my Bonvoy status we were upgraded to an oceanview balcony room. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony, watching the boats and surfers while listening to the ocean waves. Just wish I had felt well enough to watch the sunset.

Raya is such a great spot. The menu is amazing and the staff is so.lind and knowledgeable.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Very friendly staff. Requested coastal view from room and it did not disappoint. Only drawback was that special events were held right outside our room during our 4 day stay, kinda took away from great view. Spent a morning at the spa and afternoons at the pool. Plenty to do without having to leave the grounds. Only con was that housekeeping was a little slow on daily service. We had to request service twice to be completed. Wonderful get-a-way

Superb environment and view, easygoing people, cheap price

We had great time at the bar, delicious healthy salad and salmon. Alfanzo and Ken were wonderful to serve us.We enjoy lunches and dinners at the Raya Restaurant as well.

A gorgeous resort with unbelievable views!

The entrance and lobby are the nicest part of this property and the service is exceptional.

When we mentioned that we will be celebrating our sons birthday they actually went to purchase some toys for him and it was in our room when we checked in!

The only negatives of this property are that the rooms are a bit dated and in need of a face lift and you can practically hear all the noise from the hallways.

Easter brunch set menu is great option. Love the decor around this time. Service is excellent and food was very good at Raya.

I don t even know where to start. Maybe I ll start from driving up the driveway from pacific coast highway where you feel like you have just entered paradise. Once your luggage is whisked away and you are welcomed by the nicest front desk staff and escorted to the best hotel room you ve ever stayed in. Penny on the club level will do everything she possibly can to make your vacation feel as effortless as possible. Spring for club level, it is worth every single penny spent.

We stayed there for a wedding.

Pros: The wedding venue overlooking the beach and on a cliff. Very picturesque. The view from the gym. Service was still very top-notch.

Cons: the swimming pool, what architectural idiot put four in closed walls around the swimming pool; I felt like I was at a Holiday Inn. The rooms were old, moldy, there were stains on the carpet.

I stayed a week there and it was very nice, staff there were well manered, welcoming, friendly and thorough, I asked that my room be cleaned everyday, and had no issues with anyone while I was there. Reading some reviews and, I go by what I experience, since I've been to dozens of Ritz-Carlton Hotels throughout the U.S. and abroad, I know what to ask for as far as rooms with views goes and my visits there have been more comfortable each visit. The Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel is really impressive. Thanks again for everything. What an awesome Hotel.

The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is a beautiful location for a wedding. Also, the ocean views and beautiful gardens make for great backdrops for photography.

Everything you would expect from a Ritz. Great rooms, staff, and food. The views are exceptional!
