Locals not wanted?


Local landlords who regularly go cable car hikes with their guests in summer have happily bought this card. It is incomprehensible why a few locals (guests hardly buy a summer season ticket) are asked to pay so much here.
Meanwhile, I know a lot of landlords who will forego the cable cars on their regular hikes with their guests this year. There are also beautiful hiking destinations where you don't need a lift.
Snow Space Salzburg (Wagrain, St. Johann, Flachau) also has a summer season ticket. Here the increase of around 45% from 122.00 to 175.00 is really modest in comparison. Probably because you actually get less performance here, as the new building of the Flying Mozart in Wagrain means that an entire side of the valley will be eliminated this year.
What the railway operators want with this pricing is a mystery to me. It may well be that these few season tickets are not big business for the mountain railways and therefore the lifts do not care whether the local person buys one or not. If, however, locals no longer go cable car hiking with their guests, the lift operators will also notice it at some point.

A great ski area with lots of lifts, good huts and lots of fun

Very good offer, but not always a balanced price / performance ratio.

I purposely only give it 3 stars because this ski association simply neglects all of the small ski areas and no stable connection is built, but they want to make money for it after the tickets are expensive anyway. I guess what the ski areas are for are. Then they should send at least one bus for free (1 outward and 1 return trip free every day) and whoever doesn't catch the return bus has to pay extra. These are all so little things that leave an insanely awesome ski area in a completely different light, the G - Link (130 gondola), which could lead me to a better rating, cannot change anything.

I'm not a fan of ski amade, and we've traveled here in many resorts, so I have an opinion. Yes, nice views, routes to choose from and color, but I personally get annoyed that the routes are narrow compared to resorts in Tyrol, e.g. that there are a lot of places where you have to push yourself with sticks, that there are a lot of hopeless connectors. Nevertheless, it is a place that provides a lot of joy and entertainment. It is not far from Poland, so better there than on crowded and poor slopes in Poland

Large-scale use of snow cannons in broad daylight in the sunshine in the Alpendorf area, resulting in massive visual impairment and risk of injury, unfortunately not a pleasure. Even sitting on the hut, we were bothered by the noise of the snow cannons and the artificial snow in the air - nothing to do with a fun skiing holiday. If you want to enjoy the blue sky and good slopes, you shouldn't come here - has the same effect as skiing in snow, and with a clear blue sky. In addition, there is the permanent noise pollution caused by the cannons from early in the morning. No single driver traces at the chairlifts despite long lines.

In winter, great slope conditions, nice staff, what more could you ask for, there are 5 stars

Super resort, sometimes very crowded but you are always to find a route for yourself.

Sometimes there are so many people that it looks like someone put a stick in the anthill.

Very extensive. I recommend a G-link ride to Wagrein, extra views and access to new routes.

It is expensive to get a ticket to whole resort but it is very big. Lot of pistes and lifts. I was very satisfied.

For over ten years, we drive here in this ski area and are always satisfied.

Very nice ski area for the whole family with pleasant places to stop.

Perfect pistes, good parking management, amazing panoramic views.
I would almost say something unique in Europe.
A bit expensive but for 2-3days a year a must and even affordable.

Every year an experience.

We spent one whole day here. We arrived for opening hours and the first ride down was horrible !!! The slopes are unprepared, huge mounds from the morning, if the afternoon was due to a large number of people, so I understand. But at 9 am the slope was unprepared; Horror and horror, it seemed that it was not since yesterday and groomed it really did not see the farmer. After exploring all the possible routes, we really did not find any promised manchester anywhere in the morning. It is sad that for that they want such money and with skiing then it has nothing to do with just wading down and going down braking or plow .. For us never more !! The only plus are beautiful panoramas and heated seats, but leave the skis at home.

Nice area good slopes. Just a pity that it is not one big area and you will have to go the other runs with the first buses

Very nice skiing area, complete with neverending slopes and funparks. State-of-the-art lifts. Many possibilities to build your own jumps, because there's more than enough room for it. Great place to go!

Online shop absolutely useless, only the extension of the cards despite fulfillment of all requirements is not possible, then the forwarding to the instant payment page does not work and finally, not even the payment by credit card can be selected. Congratulations, so you sold guaranteed NOTHING!

Great skiing experience, very many lifts (chairlifts and gondolas). The slopes are versatile and long. I was pleasantly surprised by the gastronomy on the slopes. Particularly noteworthy is the Steinbockalm, which offers excellent service and good food. TOP

Nice town. Old city walls, faith and nice buildings. It's worth coming for a walk. Unfortunately, the museums only open from June to September.

Ski Amade is one of the best ski resorts I have ever driven in! It is really big! You have many different slopes, no matter if beginner or professional, there is something for everyone! There is a very good show park (the Absolut Park) and many good huts to eat and drink.

Austria is always beautiful, if only not the many Russians, Hungarians, Romanians and Bulgarians are there.

I've only been here in the summer.
In my opinion, this will be a fantastic ski resort in winter.
It is also good to stay at the top of the summer. Extensive hiking possibilities.
With the track up it is quite pricey.

If the weather is right, and you only have one ski jacket, it fits.
Apart from that, you sometimes have trouble because you supposedly pass on your ski pass.

A fantastic, large ski area with great fun parks and comfortable lifts (partly heated, little waiting time even in high season)

On the whole, at first glance, nothing came up. Slopes baden scho whole guad and lifts san a guad. Economize san partly bissal and the waitresses partly verba koa and schaung a bissl frustrated but otherwise so-called i moi basst.
