The service was amazing. Probably our first and last stay at a Ritz-Carlton but it was worth it. The luxury was amazing. The valet staff greeted us by name and walked us to the reception deck. Maybe it was because we looked out of place, maybe it was because that is what they do. It was a nice gesture either way.
The beer at blu180 was half the price as the pool bar. We had dinner at Raya. They took diet restrictions seriously and remade a dish which caused a delay in our meal. The server explained the delay which was reassuring. Breakfast the next morning was at the marketplace.
They provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. We walked down to the beach but took the shuttle back up the hill.
Thanks to my Bonvoy status we were upgraded to an oceanview balcony room. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony, watching the boats and surfers while listening to the ocean waves. Just wish I had felt well enough to watch the sunset.
