One of the best hotels in the world but with the name comes the prices.
The Ritz in the Cayman is probably one of the finest in the Ritz inventory.
Clean, mega service, always with a smile, great food at multiple restaurants, phenomenal staff, super kid friendly amd the list goes on...
Go!
The ritz, gets 5 stars. I have stayed twice in the south tower! Very spacious, the staff and service is 5 star for sure.
Hospitality and customer service was spectacular! Very relaxing and clean, beach was great! As a titanium level member you don t get all the normal perks but they make up for it. You won t get concierge lounge but they give you breakfast in one of their restaurants, which was also very good.
This was our first trip here and I would highly recommend it, very safe on and off the resort. My only negatives is the food prices are very high and airport very small.
It s the Ritz in the Caymans so it s nice. We had a good experience overall. We are here during the off season so we ve had a few minor inconveniences the WiFi didn t work well and was down at one point, they had to shut off the water for 6 hours, and the construction near the pool was loud and disruptive. Otherwise, the service was good and they responded quickly when you put up your flag for food/drinks. It s expensive to eat and drink here but that was to be expected. Tons of great food/drink near the hotel though.
Nice atmosphere, hotel, condo rentals, restaurants.
Great place, lovely food, it's expensive however you pay for great service and you get it here. Brunch is a must
As a travel agent the Ritz Carlton is a luxury property. This was my 1st Ritz Carlton and it won't be my last. The Ritz on 7 mile beach is breathtaking. Yes, it's very Ritzy & expensive and yes it's very worth it. You are in the center of one of the most magnificent beaches. The soft clean sand and the lounge chairs come with a cushion and a towel.
There is a pool attendant who walks around and will spray you with water to make sure you don't burn.
Each area in the Ritz is wonderful. My room faced the ocean and was large enough to fit at least 8 people. Actually only 4 used the room. It deserves bragging rights.
Now on to the breakfast buffet. Pay one price and eat all morning. They have waffles with all types of syrups,a chef will prepare omelets of your choice.
Kudos to all the staff for doing super work. At this Ritz you didn't need to constantly palm the hands with $1 bills.
There are other restaurants across the street and small shops. The local van will stop at the resort to take you downtown to the Main Market, boat marina and the Mall.
The hotel is very nice. The staff is phenomenal. The internet was a little slow. The water always smells funny. A wonderful place to stay overall. You're allowed to smoke cigars on your balcony! Very clean restrooms.
Great place to be food fabulous, wonderful entertainment
Amazing hotel. Great location on Seven Mile Beach. Friendly staff that were great with kids. A very family friendly hotel. The restaurants on site were numerous and quality was above average. Cannot wait to go back again.
Freindly, helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings. Plenty of amenities.
Stayed here 4 years ago and had a wonderful experience. This visit, not so much. There were several corporate events and groups that basically took over the resort. One night couldn't get into the lobby bar because of over crowing with an event. Couldn't make golf tee times because of group outings that closed the course to walk-up play. On our last evening, there was an awards ceremony conducted on a grassy common area outside of our room, featuring a live band. You can guess how that went. Had dinner one evening in Seven, their fine dining restaurant. The service was excellent, though neither entree was prepared as ordered. Visited a Kirk Freeport store at the resort, my wife was looking for a particular necklace. The sales lady couldn't have cared less to help, to the point of being rude. When we brought all of this to the attention of a member of the management staff, he basically snickered. We won't be back to this, or any other Ritz-Carlton any time in the near future. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, could've stayed anywhere else....Instead, we entrusted this occasion to this group and were let down. I'd give no stars, but at least the housekeeping staff went above and beyond.
I saw real hospitality in sevens restaurant by Yannick..he is outstanding waiter
Great hotel/resort with 5star service. The restaurant is good, pool has wonderful bar and it's located on the best part of 7mile beach
Great service, great people, rooms Cleaned at least twice a day. Restaurants good, and cocktails are tasty.
A beautiful place in the Caymans. The staff is great!!
I have been to a number of Ritz-Carlton's around the world. This is the best customer service of any of them.
Wow, overall outstanding. Room on the beach. Perfect weather. Blue was like no other and is a top tier dining experience.
Great Service. Way too many children from infants on up. You have to be up early to get a good chair at the pool or beach.
Family fun or self love, this place is Amazing!! You truly get what you paid for. 5th time here in 10 years and its consistency and up keep is amazing. Some little person told me, "this is the bestest vacation ever!" Extremely family friendly! Can't stress it enough. Service is amazing and stays inline with other Ritz's. Best food! From quality poolside to amazing Blue, you won't disappoint yourself. Different pools for different relaxation. Amazing private beach with full amenities. Spa services that won't disappoint your mind, body and spirit. Be prepared to be spoiled, you deserve it!
Great resort with beautiful beach area with two pools, excellent fitness center. Service was exceptional, including spoilimg our daughters with some unexpected surprises upon check-in for a belated birthday. Off property restaurants in walking distance.
What's there to say? It's the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman. Pampered paradise
Top on the island, luxury, I loved the brunch on Sunday
I'll start by saying the staff for the most part and grounds is excellent. Beautiful resort, typical Ritz type property. Immaculate, clean, well cared for.
The restaurants were terrible! Andiamo for being a $200 plus for two people was not even one star worthy. Pasta was overdone, smell of the restaurant was terrible and service was pretty bland.
Seven, the steakhouses "fabulous" breakfast was absolutely terrible. Coffee was terrible, there was nothing on the menu that blew us or anyone away. Even the "fresh" fruit wasn't on par with what you'd get a Whole Foods. Again, the service was great but you would expect the food would be what blew you away.
A lot of the staff felt really pretentious and were only "helping" you to get a "tip." Which felt very non Ritz like. I don't feel like saying hi to me and my wife warrants a tip.
There were two gals on the staff that were exceptional and very attentive. It just felt like for the $$ you spend here you get about half what you paid for.
The water and beach though are gorgeous at the Grand Cayman. But would definitely go to Hawaii if I was given the choice for a mulligan. Maybe when the Ritz Grand Cayman is at full staff it's better.
Won't be coming back again to this property.
This is the best hotel on the island and among the best in the caribbean. Make sure you sign up for one night at blue. Be warned, prices are out of control here.
In one word, impressive! The level of service, comfort, and serenity are all impressive!! Good for families and couples both!
Incredible hotel. Too expensive and little too pretentious for me. Super expensive too
Had a very nice cafe and really great room and room service
Not a bad place to spend some time. Good food, service and location
Better have some money to stay here..... but very nice place to relax
This is a beautiful hotel and condominium complex. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are several stores in the hotel for all of your jewelry shopping wants. This is my favorite place to stay in Grand Cayman.
Bar Jack at the Ritz Carlton is a great place for lunch with a great view of the water. As soon as we sat down they brought us a bowl of delicious Plantain chips with a yummy lime aoli dip. My wife and I split the chicken teriyaki bowl which was delicious and plenty of food for two. My daughter had an enormous burger and fries that she loved! My son had chipotle chicken tacos that were also delicious. Then to top it off, he brought us shareable samples of their cookies and cream gelato and their caramel gelato. Needless to say it was delicious and completely devoured in less than 5 mins! Definitely recommend the Bar Jack at the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman!
I have been in lots of 5 starts hotels. This one has made the difference! As soon as you arrive they open the door for you and offered you a delicious drink. Someone shows you to your room and explains what you can do while in Cayman.
I went to the spa and they certainly made it a heavenly experience.
I wanted to do the high tea over the weekend but it was book... thankfully the manager was able to accommodate me!
They leave notes in your bet with interesting facts about the island. The food is wonderful, now I understand the culinary capital of the Caribbean totally recommend it. Next time I will come with my daughter as is very kid friendly.
My husband and I have stayed here twice, and we were recently extremely disappointed with our experience. We went during the off summer season, and the Ritz did not live up to its five star rating. We were gold ritz carlton members, and we had a club level room. The club level rooms are located across the street from the ocean. This is a interesting location for the premier floor. We found the room to be worn, and in need of new paint and carpeting. With the exception of Blue by Eric Ripert, the food at the hotel was not good. We especially did not enjoy our dining experience by the second pool whose name escapes me. Our dinner there was nothing short of awful. The employees who were supposed to be handing out towels by the pool were no where to be found, and many of the chairs by the main pool were broken. The hotel charges for tipping, but this is not clearly explained to patrons. Hotel employees were more than happy to accept tips, and yet we were surprised by an automatic tipping charge on our bill. We will not be staying here again.
Our stay at this Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel. From the first minute we booked it the customer service was top-notch. I emailed to ask some questions about my special dietary needs and someone promptly got back to me named Selena.
A few days before our trip, a call came in from the hotel and to my wonderful surprise, it was Selena calling to check in and make sure everything was arranged for our trip. She asked when our arrival time would be at the airport and if we needed any assistance with anything else during our stay. My husband and I were blown away with how professional this all was.
When we arrived at the airport, there was a sharply dressed man from the Ritz there to greet at the people arriving who were coming to stay at the hotel and help us with our bags. Upon check-in, we were greeted by several Ritz employees who brought us free drinks, fruit punch, a cupcake for my birthday, and offer assistance!
Then, to our great surprise, Selena was there to personally greet us and escort us to our room and show us around the resort. When we arrived at our room, Selena had ordered a complimentary beautiful basket of fresh fruit (apples, bananas, kiwi, cherries, lychee, etc) and a welcome card...we felt like we were famous!
Throughout our whole stay here the service was impeccable and the food was amazing. They think of everything here from having all the towels and sunscreen already available for you at the pool, to customizing special orders for me during meal time to accommodate my food allergies. They even made me a special cake for my birthday dinner.
They left us with great parting gifts of luggage tags to remember our trip, a goodbye card, and memories for a lifetime. We will definitely be making this trip a regular part of our annual vacations and can't wait to go back again. I highly recommend you stay here as it will be magical!
Excellent. Exactly what you expect from Ritz! Did the chef sampler and their restaurant. What a great experience.
Didn't stay here, just visited, but seemed like a nice place.
Beautiful hotel with many amazing Restaurants on premise. The property also includes a golf course and tennis courts.
If you are seeking a picture-perfect vacation spot, look no further. If you ask the staff to jump at this hotel, they will ask how high. From the minute my boyfriend and I arrived at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, we were greeted by name and personally escorted to our room. The hotel is immaculate, and the beach looks like it belongs on a postcard. The staff was extremely friendly and made every last effort to provide us with a unique, personal and memorable vacation experience. We had the absolute best dinners at Seven and Taikun. It will be impossible to stay at any other hotel after this vacation.
What can I say? Amazing. We booked an ocean king with the club level. The view is/was spectacular! The service is top notch! The club lounge food was great. The free drinks also was amazing - staff happily giving to go cups so we could grab a drink to take down to the beach. Beach chairs and a multitude of water activities were all included. The service was always above and beyond - all club staff greeted us, knew our names, helped us book activities and gave local recommendations. We will be back!
If you for a luxury hotel in Cayman, this is probably a great option. I enjoyed especially the gallery in the bridge.
Only book this place if you have to. The only tower that rivals any other beachfront property I ve ever been to is the ocean tower. The other tower is dated with laminate floors that make you feel like red rum may be painted on the walls. Odd, because we love the ritz st Thomas.
Excellent hotel if you are looking for a family getaway.
Fantastic location. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Perfect for either a family, we took our family of 5 ( 9, 5, 2 year olds) but would be great for a couple or individual. Very serene.
The resort is beautiful. There are plenty of activities to take part in nearby. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the resort charges gratuities and a 75 dollar a day resort fee. In addition, it is customary to tip on top of these fees and exuberant food costs.
Be prepared to spend (it is the Ritz after all) but the service is amazing.
Great accommodations and great service. Meets and exceeds expectations.
Excellent quality. Not 5 stars because I don't care for 7 mile beach.
This place is great. Awesome hospitality awesome food. But if this isn't something you wanna treat yourself to and not think of the cost, don't go because it is pricey
The service here is incredible. Never met a friendlier staff in my life. Super clean rooms and a lot fun activities.
Been coming to this hotel every year for past 4-5 years. Service is top notch and amenities are great. Very nice selection of restaurants.
Fantastic Hotel and Fantastic staff... We had an amazing experience at the Ritz in Grand Cayman and would love to return again soon
We just walked from the residences to the hotel. The rooms in the hotel have a pool or golf course view. It was OK but did not have Caribbean flair in the indoor spaces. The outdoor pool by the residences was beautiful. The pool by the hotel was nice but nothing special except for the whales' tails and the water arcing from the filter lions' heads.
Your beds suck. I have never stayed in a hotel where I could not get comfortable in bed.
Lovely hotel but they are quite happy for non guests to use their restaurants and bars but not their pools. It's sad that it's all about the money
Classic Cayman Islands hotel on a beautiful section of 7 Mile Beach. Impeccable service. Try Bar Jack for a great meal on the beach!
Best of the Caribbean Ritz properties by far. Fantastic service, nice rooms, excellent location, great restaurants.
Absolutely Wonderful! Exceptionally knowledgeable staff. Extremely friendly and cater to your every need!!
Fast service

Love this place. It is spectacularly beautiful and the service is everything you would expect from the Ritz Carlton. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Just what a Ritz resort should be. The service is slightly officious, but I d much rather that than the opposite!
