It's a Ritz, so don't expect anything less than 5 stars. Near perfect service rendered by a wonderful multinational crew. Ample facilities to immerse and enjoy which includes a golf course and water theme park for the kids. Food & beverage is generally good specially Barjack. All these wholely situated at the more strategic part of the Seven Mile Beach.

Second day in our stay. I had a noise problem since my room is next Club Lounge. The night manager Salah Zekry was great to listen my complaint and offer several options. Very impressed how he handled the situation!!!

Awesome of course! Hands down the best pina coladas on the island. The service is immaculate and housekeeping is wonderful. Rooney was our housekeeper and I couldn't have asked for better service. He was exceptional! Thanks Rooney!

The Ritz-Carlton is a beautiful place. Everything is immaculately maintained. The beach is beautiful. There are people everywhere to address your every need. However, all of this comes at a price. Be ready to pay top dollar for everything. And I do mean everything is 2 - 3 times as expensive as what you can find elsewhere.

Stunning! Exceptional service all around. The front desk and staff around the hotel were extremely attentive and accommodating. The restaurants were absolutely amazing especially the drinks. The rooms had phenomenal views, extra hot showers, and great service. The hotel pools were beautiful and relaxing. We were blown away how clean and beautiful the beach was. The water is crystal clear and they also offer complimentary water sports!

Ok. We ate at Seven and a couple of drinks as well. Obviously it's a classy joint! Prices are again, obviously, high. I enjoyed the food but I'm not sure it's better then other cheaper venues elsewhere on the island. I found the room we were in was actually really pretty cold, wished I had a jumper not something I've once felt on the island in 6 months. I arrived just after 7pm so missed the happy hour on cocktails. My fault for not informing myself and not arriving in time. However if your venue is called Seven and you put on a happy hour logic would say it'd be at 7pm!

Anyway, I'm glad we all went, and I enjoyed the steaks we ordered.

From the moment that I booked to stay at the Ritz, I knew that our time at your property was going to be exceptional. I had questions regarding the rooms and accommodations prior to booking and I was fortunate to have Guy (Ghee) answer the phone when I called in. He was so thorough and knowledgeable and offered me great advice about the resort and the amenities. We were traveling with our two kids ages 10 and 2. We were there celebrating their birthdays. He was there to greet me upon our arrival and had drinks and cupcakes for the kids. We were so pleased with our accommodations and amenities that I could not stop raving about them. We travel quite a bit and this was our first time in GC. I honestly, did not know anyone who had visited the island so I was going in blind of recommendations and I had plenty of people at home waiting to hear back about our experience.

I honestly don't know where to start. We met the most pleasant, kind, and caring people who work at this resort. Everyone goes above and beyond for the smallest request and biggest. My vacation started with a VERY WARM greeting from Dana and Guy. They were amazing during the whole check in process and answering questions. The did the sweetest things for my kids and they were so happy and felt so special. I realize how much those little things matter with your stay. Next I want to recognize the pool staff. I really don't know what to say except WOW! From Leslie, to Travis, to Natalia, to Oscar, to Kevin, to Frederick, to Aldo...everyone was on point. They made my kids time at the pool so special. Whether it was paying attention to them, picking up an Iguana for them to see and pet, or just smiling at them in the morning. I could not thank them enough for being with us throughout the day. The staff at Seven for brunch was outstanding! They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied everyday. They even had custom food made for my son. Just fantastic service! So many people we loved there from the hostesses, Yvonne at the omelet station, Ashely as a server and another super amazing server ( I forgot his name) but he helped us on the last day.

I cant say enough how amazing this resort is and how accommodating the staff here are! Great place to stay.

Amazing facilities and even more amazing staff. By far one of the best hotel experiences I ve ever had and it was primarily due to the amazing customer service. Alexis showed us our room and was so incredibly professional, kind and genuine with her knowledge of the island. Pryce and Sabrina took us on our excursion of the surrounding waters and we so knowledgeable and inclusive to ensure everyone enjoyed their time. Will be back and will be staying at the RC in grand cayman again!!!

Just got back yesterday. I've got nothing bad to say about the Ritz. Rooms are nice, Staff is Amazing, Beach is nice and the toys (sailboats, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear) are all part of the resort fee. But, you really need to be prepared for the prices on the Cayman islands before you come. They are beyond ridiculous. For Example. One Pina Colada at Bar Jack (Ocean side pool bar) is $14 KYD. Converted to US that becomes aboud $17.50. If you tip at 20%, that drink comes in at $21. Over the course of the week, we averaged about $600 / day for food and drink for my family of 4. We generally skipped breakfast and ate lunch at the hotel or at one of the restaurants close by. Each of us (all 4 were drinking age) averaged around 4 drinks a day between lunch and dinner. So, if the Cayman Is is in your budget, the Ritz is an excellent choice

Great destination, great property. Overall was a great place to stay. A couple of things I'd like to see improved, 1) the rooms are starting to show a bit of wear and tear. Ours had a furniture cushion that was torn with stuffing falling out and a broken light fixture where half of the glass was missing, 2) the beach and pool chair situation is not well managed. The Ritz allows people to claim and hold chairs all day even if they haven't used them for hours. If you show up at the beach after about 11am you aren't going to get chairs as a bunch of selfish people have claimed them all by leaving their random belongings in them while they are nowhere in sight.

Ritz Carlton has never failed to meet my expectations.
As a first time traveler with a six month old
I was worried about my baby being uncomfortable in a strange place but this wasn t our case.
As we checked in our room I was greeted with a welcome package that included a baby bag.
Diapers, shampoo, lotion ect. So freaking cute!
The hotel also provided swimming diapers, accessible baby floaties and adult swimming beds. What I liked the most was the connivence of the packages available that departed from the hotel beach. Here s a picture of my baby swimming in the beautiful waters of Caymen Islands. Def coming back next year!

People were extremely friendly . Prices were a little inflated but I guess that's what you pay for at the ritz . Smoothies were about $20 bucks , went to the Westin and they were half the price . Same for beers. Resort was actively in construction but overall we enjoyed the stay . We also enjoyed the spa which was included with the resort fees. You also get access to amenities on the beach with that fee. Everything was conveniently located around the resort.

Absolutely the best hotel for kids in the Caribbean. We were treated phenomenally for our entire stay and the views are incredible. They recently opened a kids waterpark and our daughter didn't want to leave. The beach is beautiful....bright sand and crystal clear water. Thank you, Ritz, for taking great care of us. We will definitely be back.

This is a very nice hotel. The thing that really makes it is not just the great location and the view but the people that work there. They are so friendly and always willing to help. I will definitely revisit this hotel.

I WAS VERY SURPRISED UPON ARRIVAL THAT IN ADDITION TO THE ROOM CHARGE THERE WAS AN AMENITY FEE OF $60 PER DAY. THIS GAVE ME THE PRIVILEGE OF USING THE POOL AND THE BEACH. I NOR ANYONE THAT I HAVE EVER TALKED TO HAVE EVER HEARD OF OR PAID AN AMENITY FEE.

Such a special place. The staff are so nice from the front door (bellmen) to the front desk to the lovely ladies taking care of your room. All the staff are pleasant and friendly, we love visiting. Spa treatments (la Prairie) are very indulgent and work for days. Restaurants are so good we don't venture out to others.

From the moment we first arrived through the last when we checked out, the people at the Ritz are fantastic!

Randy from their beach department found and retrieved my prescription sunglasses from the bottom of the ocean which I thought was pretty impressive! And Ana, bartender at Seven, was another customer service all star!. She acted like our own personal concierge.

Note: if you like lower crowds, go after Labor Day and you'll have the place to yourself. However, a lot of restaurants were closed.

Nice atmosphere adjacent to the large pool looking over the beach. We had the breakfast buffet. Sadly the buffet was typical and disappointing. I tried three times to find something delicious.

The first attempt was the breakfast burrito and eggs benedict. The burrito was dry and had no flavor...hard to believe with a burrito. The eggs benedict couldn't be cut with a knife.

My second attempt was pancakes and possibly a waffle. The only choice for the waffle was a smores waffle...obviously for kids. I passed. The pancakes were dry and also very difficult to cut. They did have a coconut flavor at least.

I finally gave up and had fresh fruit which was delicious. Also, I had an oatmeal brulee that was delicious.

The green drink specially made was horrible. I thought I was drinking grass.

The service was excellent and the surroundings were immaculate.

A Review Worth Reading...

A Review Worth Reading...

This review is about Taikun, a wonderful sushi orientated restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman:

I've had the pleasure to be a guest at Taikun many times, and must admit, if I say 15 visits, I'm not exaggerating! Each time it is very good, but yesterday's dinner was simply "SUPERB"; and it was not simply the quality of the food that made it so, but sometimes even more importantly, the service! The Ritz motto: "Ladies and gentlemen taking care of ladies and gentlemen" was exemplified from beginning to end, and at the front of that attitude exemplification was a young, and proudly hailed, Caymanian lady by the name of Christie - what an amazing example of the customer service (and I should know, I'm in the health service - sometimes dealing with people not feeling well)... When I go out for a meal, I can't help but notice service orientation, and I rarely find myself so impressed - WOW, this time I really was! My guest and I had perhaps the most memorable evening I've had in a long time - a credit to the quality of Ritz ingredients and freshness, and, in this case, sincere Cayman and Caymanian hospitality - THANK YOU Ritz Carlton; this kind of attitude is not from just one, but from the support of many, and our dinner really showed what can be accomplished! I can't wait to return!
