The hotel lived up to the expectations set by the brand. My stay wasn't quite perfect at first, but the staff resolved my minor issues very quickly. The Ritz-Carlton warm welcome was a little too much as they radio your name between staff, so from the car to check-in, expect to be personally greeted at least five times.
I stayed for two nights in a King Deluxe Room, I was put in a top (16th) floor room facing the front of the hotel. There were a couple of small issues with the room, but the hotel very quickly and professionally resolved them. Service was exceptional across the board, I found the Restaurant Manager - Vishwesh one of the most friendly staff I've met in any hotel, globally.
Notably, the hotel has a 15th floor rooftop bar/club, which is open until 1am and plays music that's audible in your room (particularly if you're 15th/16th floor). If you're looking for an easy night's sleep, or have young children - its worth requesting a room at the back of the hotel. I didn't request a room change, but I have no doubt the hotel would have accommodated that.
The Club lounge is well sized and offers a good selection of snacks and beverages in a comfortable setting.
The gym is larger than most, with a range of equipment (cardio machines, cabled weights machines, and dumbbells up-to 26KGs). The pool environment was generally exceptional for an inner city hotel (with cabanas, loungers and a bar), but I found the pool itself is quite narrow and short. I didn't use the spa facilities.
Status benefits - the hotel offers a series of discounts for Bonvoy status members, primarily on food and beverage. Gold Elite and above members are entitled to free afternoon tea (every day) which is well worth it.
All in all, an excellent stay with very friendly and professional staff. Take a room at the back of the hotel if you'd like extra peace and quiet.
