Never expected such a poor service from the so called "Five Star" hotel. I wanted to make a meeting room reservation and been calling them since morning... I just got one standard reply.. "Mam, give me your number... we will check and get back to you or someone will call you".. but no response at all.

Frustrating response from the hotel staff. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone for business purposes.

Food - I felt the food here was bland here. Since I am veg I'm not sure about non-veg but vegetarian food was pretty basic.

Value for money - Well it's a luxury hotel so the prices are supposed to be high but even then I felt it was over-priced even compared to JW Marriott in some respects.

Amazing hotel and excellent service is how I'd sum up our 1 night stay at the Ritz. My wife and I like to try out different hotels in the city, and we were in Bangalore to party with some friends, so decided to stay at the Ritz for one night.

Slightly on the expensive end, as compared to our desi brands, the Ritz-Carlton has a very brand new feel to it. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, and we were put on the 14th floor of this beautiful designed hotel.

Western countries have so much to learn from Indian hospitality and service at the Ritz is no exception. We were given a top notch check-in experience with staff greeting us at the lobby itself and escorting us to our room on the 14th floor.

Rooms are extremely well appointed with amazing furniture, and a great bathroom.

The service again deserves a special shout out to Shubham Thakur, who made my wife's birthday extra special, when he surprised us by delivering a beautiful cake to our room 3 days before her birthday (since we weren't going to be around at the hotel).

Breakfast buffet and service at their restaurant is again, absolutely fabulous. One feels like royalty when at the Ritz, and yes, they are expensive, but they also provide amazing service.

Our stay at Ritz was followed by a 1 night at stay at the JW, which is no where close in their service as compared to the Ritz. I'd recommend Ritz over JW any day!

Had a very good experience. The hotel staff were very warm and attentive and they give you personalized service. The hotel is beautiful and grand. The lunch buffet spread at the market was very nice. The food was very good. The desserts were great too.

Fantastic hotel! Everyone was very courteous and accommodating, especially Mr. Arun and Mr. Sagar at the Concierge desk and the head chef Mr. Arup Kali Dutta at the Market Restaurant. It is a beautiful hotel which is also very centrally located with some of the historic sites nearby and the shopping areas just down the road. Highly, highly recommended!

The Lantern -ritz Carlton...serves chinese food

The Lantern -ritz Carlton...serves chinese food

Nothing grand about this place.

We were family of three. We could locate ritz easily. The lantern restaurant is not located in the main building of ritz carlton.

Ambience 2/5
The place has a bad decor. Too many chinese crockery on display...too many vacant colorful bottles.. Looked very very cluttered and goddy.. The restaurant is located at the basement and it misses a chic ambience of a star hotel. Seating looks like a series of the train compartments. And it just doesnt do justice to the name of restaurant

Service 2/5
We were greeted the asian way. But when it came to changing of table request by me to a vacant table, i was plainly denied without even checking on the table booking. Just a few mins after i was denied, a lady(unaware of my precious table request ) comes up offering me to get shifted to that same table...why? So i bluntly said no to table change offer. The person who denied table doesnt even turn up later to take orders.. See their attitude!!

Food 2/5
Not much vegeterian options to choose from. Main course just is tooo too narrow.
So yday we werent in mood of any dimsums or starters. We ordered a soup. It was ok. Main course we ordered a noodle n a rice. Noodle tatsted bad.. Rice looked ok compared to noodle.. So it was just fine. All in all not justice to money we paid.

To cut it short.. Go there not for ambience.. And not for good food.. But.. . Just to burn hole in your pocket

Amazing hotel for a stay. Was there for one day but worthwhile stay. Started with my day with breakfast which had wide spread of South Indian, Continental spread in their market restaurant. French toast is must try. We tried alu parantha too which was yummy too along with dosas. They had many options including oats, fruit platters, different kind of cheese with all Continental non-veg food range. After this sumptuous breakfast, we went to gym after one hour. I was personally trained for 15 mins by their trainer, Subham, whom I found to be very good in giving training on stretching and light workouts. After gym we went to take jacuzzi bath to enjoy some time talking while enjoying water therapy. Later we had lunch in their Lantern Restaurant serving Chinese dishes where my best out of our three selections of Chicken Shumai Steamed Dim Sum, Almond Prawn roll fried Dim Sum & Atlantic Salmon was Chicken Shumai though my other relative liked more Almond Prawn Roll. We both were okay with Atlantic Salmon as it was too sweet due to more teryaki sauce on small salmon piece. We had massage appointment in afternoon which I took deep tissue massage. Though it is expensive massage, it was worth to spend 90 mins with masseuse while she identified painful nerves or areas and trying to take away that pain which she was successful though left with pinching light pain afterwards. Pain exposed more after massage on earlier painful nerves unidentified before specially calf areas. I wish they had more options for oil. After massage, we relaxed in their massage lounge & later took steam sauna. Once we took bath, we headed for high tea where we were served with delicious cakes and cookies along with coffee and green tea. As evening approached, we headed for outdoor pool which is long but short in breadth enjoying bar next to it serving Bacardi Rum and Scottish single malt whiskey. As evening became night, we headed to their 15th floor lounge by name Bang were we had nice long island drinks and chicken starters with panoramic view of sky and surrounding of hotel. It was well spent enjoyable day in hotel.

I was at The Ritz for an professional event. The Ritz is a fine place to host an event of medium size. The ambiance is just out of this world. The food was amazing and had a lot of variety that I enjoyed a lot. The servicing was executed very well and I faced no issues whatsoever. You will definitely have a luxurious experience being at The Ritz.
