Great hotel. In the middle of Zagreb. Always happy there. Staff very friendly!

Breakfast lobby reception were all excellent and perfect, but it would have been better if room cleaning was a little more careful. There is a feeling that the water slowly falls out when showering because it is old fashioned. Apart from these two points, the rooms and staff were really nice too.

Fine dining, the best hotel in town. Excelent coctails at moderate prices. They are in bussines with same quality for 100 years.

I can't believe this hotel get a 5 stars degree. Staffs are very unkind and not nice. They do just their work, spend the time to get money. I've never seen anyone's smile or kindness for 3 days, except a woman who make the room clean. Breakfast is none of everything delicious. Facilities are insufficient, even there isn't a teapot, tea, and coffee. I should search around the room to turn off all lights, because there's no kind of master button to turn on or off all lights. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed.

The rooms are comfortable and the environment is elegant and the atmosphere is good.

I enter the Esplanade just for a drink at the "1925 lounge and cocktail bar". We were two and we ordered champagne and martini cocktail: the champagne was flat and cocktail martini wishy washy.
There are many others lounge and cocktail bar in Zagreb to join that is not difficult avoiding this place.

A beautiful hotel, the heart of Zagreb, within Lenuzzi's horseshoes. It was built in 1925, close to the Railway Station, for the needs of the Orient Express passenger train, which operated from Paris to Istambul. The name in the translation means "field" where the hotel was built. The style of art deco, given its special glamor and charm, and today the citizens of Zagreb consider it to be their pearl, remained the gathering place of "creams".

Good place for wedding, great janjetina. Would recommend.

Simply one of my favorite hotels in the world. The whole atmosphere in this hotel is just grand and perfect. The restaurant is one if the best in Zagreb for sure and the 1925 bar awesome (especially the terrace in a summer afternoon). The professional and friendly staff completes the good picture.

Excellent hotel with beautiful rooms with old world charm.

A unique and beautiful place, always a pleasure to visit again. Close to transport and city sights. The personnel here is highly professional and pleasant, very high class. Of course everything from my experience and i have been here at least 15 times.

Amazing hotel. Old school cool with great service, beautiful rooms and well situated. If you are staying in Zagreb and are not in the esplanade then you made a huge mistake.

Classic, respectable hotel with high quality service. Delicious, varied breakfasts. Near the botanical garden and the historic center 5 minutes walk. We stop here for the third time.

A charming and elegant hotel with a touch of old Zagreb. It should take a little refreshment of the famous Oleandar terrace to shine like it used to be. Basically, a nice place to visit makat just to have coffee and eat cake. .

Small things and annoying details... we were asking for an additional set of sheets like 3 times... the hotel's restaurant was also a bit disappointing. However, the staff was extremely nice and friendly.

Excellent hotel with a vintage feel attached to it.

Very nice and stylish hotel.. Too bad they are a bit intrusive : a staff members enters the room to check mini bar while still in the room not fully dressed...

Top and fit. Classic style. Was the favorite residence of international journalists during the last war, who did not venture into the field. From there, we offered trips to battle zones for them to see what they were reporting about.

Exactly what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. One of the most expensive hotels in Zagreb but worth every euro. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast good, room service great and also the hotel bar a pleasure. Business center and fitness center as you would expect. Absolute recommendation !!!

A beautiful hotel, where I worked, reminds me of my youth

Ne volim hotel Esplanade, jer me tamo uvijek do eka neugodno iznena enje, unato tomu to se radi o poznatom hotelu na odli noj lokaciji. Prilikom zadnjeg posjeta, kada sam prvi puta u la u sobu, toalet nije bio o i en ( tovi e, bio je prljav od prethodnog gosta).
Osoblje se ispri alo, ali svejedno smatram da se u ovakvom hotelu to ne bi smjelo dogoditi (to nije, takvo to nisam do ivjela u niti jednom hotelu u ivotu, bez obzira na broj zvjezdica).

We dined on the beautiful Oleander terrace with very tasty meals. We got it all in. I congratulate the management of the hotel and staff who are extremely friendly and very kind.

Always on a level from service to product. One of the best hotels in Croatia.
