Although there is no denial this is a very special hotel, please be aware that you may end up being one of the unfortunate guests like myself that booked a nice room with a "King Sized Bed" only to find yourself sleeping on two twin beds pushed together and a cheap foam pad to sleep on. I can not even begin to tell you what a disappointment this was for what would have otherwise been an incredible experience.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in! The service is really the highest you can get, even on small details they are precise enough to satisfy any custumer. I was astonished how the staff is used to very complex demands.

Spacious was used by others to describe their rooms. If this was a stop on the Orient Express, then we got the servant's room. It was so small the bellman suggested that he put the second suitcase on the desk. The bathroom is smaller than ones I've had on cruise ships. If you open the door, it clears the front of the toilet by 1 foot (I measured). My husband was in the shower and I was in front of the sink; when he wanted to get out, I had to step out of the bathroom for him to do the so. Very disappointing stay. As others have mentioned, there is nothing to make tea or coffee with in the room, no complementary water and no iron. There is an old fashion pants press, useful if you only wear pants.

Great hotel that is very close to both the upper and lower towns. There is a shopping mall just minutes away. Hotel is expensive to eat and drink at so consider taking a short walk too places offering much better value for money. Finally the bed was much harder than I am used to.

The bar manager thinks that the customers are part of his staff. He is usually rude to all and is unhappy at work. He really does not know how to deal with people. Carefully when u speak with customers or U could be running a kennel.
