This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! What an INCREDIBLE experience. 5 Star luxury and impeccable service. Located in the hearty of Zagreb within walking distance from everything you could want to enjoy in this beautiful city. Even Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles have stayed there! If you are planning to visit Zagreb, you have to treat yourself and spend 2 nights. THANK YOU for a truly memorable experience (Looking forward to the next visit).

It is excellent because of the exterior of the interior, the cleanliness of the staff, which is a courtesy of the quality location of all the wine selection services, and the highest dinner prepared by our Ana Grgic, which in itself is ultimately the reason for choosing this wonderful hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast was plentiful and good. I was planning to go to Plitvice National Park, so when I asked if I wanted to take some bread, I brought in a plastic container!
We used LeBistro attached, but it was delicious without surprisingly high!
I asked the Concierge for dinner, but it was a rather young Concierge and the attitude was bad. It was not a first-class hotel concierge.
Room was clean and shower and bath were good by another!

I just got through staying there a few nights last week with my daughter and wife. I do believe it is likely the best hotel in Zagreb...but with that said...don't stay in the summer months, because the AC is simply terrible. Also - while most of the staff was very nice, one of their concierges (one of the slightly older ones) was as rude as they come. He acted like he was always doing you a massive favor just speaking with you. For the money, I'd expect a lot better.

A spectacular hotel built for passengers on the Orient express, old world charm and service abounds. Be sure to try the cocktails themed for stops on the railway, they are well presented and constructed.

If you are in Zagreb, and you enjoy a truly luxury experience, this is the place for you. Built in 1920s for he Orient Express passengers when Zagreb was a stop on its route, this still exudes the charm and the class those rich and weary clientele demanded! The rooms are spacious and with a great view (we had a junior suite), the location is perfect and within walking distance to the main square, and a leisurely walk through the Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor early in the morning is a unique experience! Fantastic food in the bistro and the fine dining restaurant.

As always, "the old lady of the Esplanade" every day proves to be the best hotel in Zagreb and beyond. Highly comfortable rooms, well-educated and polite staff, great food, kindness at every turn, this is a hotel to wish for. And that's why it is no wonder when the highest category business meetings are held in the hotel. They justify every asterisk. World ranking.

This Holy Week I spent in the Hotel Esplanade, my experience was quite negative with the Hotel, I do not know many five-star hotels in Prague, but if from the rest of the world and many in Spain, this hotel only has five stars. the living area, the rest is of a three stars, the employees quite dry, the room giving to an interior patio all chipped, the bathroom very old the shower very small and uncomfortable, they did not replace the gels, the towels were not They dried well, and what to say neither bathrobe nor slippers, the room very small that if the correct cleaning, the breakfast very insufficient the orange juice is not natural, and quite bad, also due to the amount of people they added water, the cutlery They folded and paper napkins, only two people to attend breakfast and as they did not have enough space they gave us breakfast in the lobby while breakfast was at the other end, in a very negative experience, in the end you conform yourself thinking that you are only going to sleep.

The hotel is like taken out that the set design for the movie "Grand Budapest Hotel". Five-star conditions. And the restaurant with a Michelin star also matters. However, probably not for ordinary tourists, because the day is almost 400 Euro.

We had a perfect stay in this hotel. A hotel of timeless elegance and modern day efficiency. The staff were excellent, providing a polite, friendly and professoinal service. Special mention to the waiters in the bar and bistro who introduced us to excellent croatian wine and we're so proud and informative about their beautiful city.

Luxury hotel with sumptuous twentieth-century finishes, equipped with services that live up to its fame.
Unfortunately, however, the vote of this historic structure is penalized by the inadequacy of the staff, more precisely concerning the catering services present inside.
The latter even have a Michelin star, in my opinion overrated.
