One of the nicest hotels I have ever been to !! Definitely deserves the 5 stars. Still a very good price-performance ratio. We will come back the next time we visit Zagreb.

Hotel has everything u could want, only down side was there was a wedding on. The wedding went on till 4,30am and could hear music base from room

I spent amazing time in this hotel,a lot of breakfast options you can seat inside or enjoy in a beautifull Oleander terrace in the morning Room was good but I didnt like small windows.. Visited SPA,the girls there was super kind but I have to mention the best one-Jovana, so ask for her she will break all your stress.

A lot of "makeup", to demolish, or to rebuild dramatically. A little cuddle through the windows in the basement, the kitchen, as far as it is, the premises from which coffee and drinks are served ..... A little who would, in any case, eat and drank there.

The food is FINA, the treats cute and almost invisible, which I really like. In the basement they have a nice space for parties.

Location is the best. The atmosphere in the lobby is solid, and the rooms are spacious and service is good, but why are the twin rooms with the same set of slippers and gown as before? It is a recommended hotel.

Old and dark. Perfect service, friendly staff. Hard uneven bed, impossible to sleep. Room is fair to poor.

We have stayed at Esplanade several times. The service is always impeccable. The rooms are also very nice. The location is a great-grandfather a short walk to the main train station, and to the old town (about 10-15 min ).

Wonderful place to relax and sip some kind of drink and toss the cookie and then gently and generously take out the bank notes that pay for the atmosphere, the good tastes of desserts, the drinks for the sake of the palate and the kindly and professional service ... it all has its price

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was pretty sweet. Staff we're all super friendly and served us complimentary champaign as we checked in. Restaurant was amazing and accommodated us after our late arrival.

5star service and location , a large gaffe latte is only 30% more than a very ordinary central town coffee bar . and we'll worth it 22kuna for large with FREE biscuit .

The best hotel in Zagreb. A warm recommendation to anyone looking for a place for prom night. The food is excellent and the generous offer of drinks is to be commended. The toilet is clean and spacious. Every part of the hotel exudes luxury, especially the magical Emerald Hall. In addition, due to the large space, it is possible to adhere to epidemiological measures.

Friendly, spacious and clean, great location for sightseeing. There is a gym (24 hours) and sauna facilities in the basement.

Unfortunately, the gastro / restaurant section is poor.
We as a family decided on December 24th, 2019 to enjoy the 6-course evening menu. With the second course we found a hair in the food - they didn't even apologize.

In the morning of December 26th, 2019 we had breakfast. I ordered from the menu and two completely different dishes were served. From our point of view it was not bad, mistakes can happen. But then came the best. Instead of apologizing, the service employee persuaded me that she had been working there for 4 years and I don't know I ordered. The customer is not king here.
-Afterwards we drank coffee at the bar because we were waiting for more friends. The barista noticed that we had complained about the poor service and bought us all drinks, chapeau!
The catering sector cannot keep up internationally.

I recommend that you train the service department in the catering area. I will definitely not book this hotel again.

Very nice high-end place. Great service and staff. Uaes to be an official stop on the Orient Express route and the hotel kept the old luxury feel from the beginning of the 20th century. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful hotel, amazing food, relaxing spa experience...but not the most comfortable bed.

I think it is a fair restoration of the hotel, although I was not in the rooms so my opinion was fully confirmed.

Great service and great restaurant and bar. Everything priced in euro but when we asked to pay in euro on checkout we were first told they recommend local currency then eventually told they couldn't bill a card in Euros. Bit odd so you end up paying a different price to that shown on bills depending on conversion rate. Would have been five stars if it wasn't for that.
