Older workers are very rude and short with you, it's like they are irritated that you came.

I will start off with a positive in saying that the facility is very clean and spacious however I must say that the customer service through the events department is mediocre at best. Prior to booking a pool party through the events department I was informed I would have an hour to set up the room for decorations. In the weeks leading to the party, I was given conflicting information by different staff members that we would only have either 30 min or 15min to set up. I contacted the director of operations who stated I had valid concerns due to the misinformation I was given and connected me with the director of events.She did not contact me until the afternoon before the party (through email by the way) that we would only have 30 min to set up due to the tight party schedules that they have to maintain. This would be understandable if there were another party prior to ours but we were the first party scheduled for that day. On top of that, the director informed me if we wanted to pay an additional fee we could access the room at an earlier time. I find it very telling how they claimed the room wouldn't be available but suddenly it became available when money is involved.

We paid for a total of 8 pizzas but ended up only getting 5. Our party host was nice, although some of her coworkers asked for leftovers which we had no problem giving but it was very unprofessional. All paper products and utensils were supposed to have been provided, but they did not even have forks for for the cake so instead our guests were given spoons. Given the amount of money that we paid for the party, I would have expected better customer service and professionalism. The silver lining in this is that the children enjoyed the pool but I will not return again nor would I recommend booking a pool party at the Kroc Center.

The design is totally unsafe for children under 7 though the life guards do a absolute great job trying to keep little ones safe but the play area for small children is too close to the deep end of the pool causing a nerve recking experience being that you have to keep a TOTALLY eagle eye on your little ones which of course is the right thing to do but not at all a fun and relaxing family friendly experience like other appropriately designed waterparks which allows the attending adults to somewhat relax knowing the play area is safe the pool had to be cleared out twice to remind parents the play area has blind spots and small children can easliy end up in the deep end of the pool as there is NO partition that separates the play area from the danger of the pools deep end

I found the center to be clean and well, This was my first time visiting the center. I did inquire about the center and the programs they offer. it looks like a place I could find things to do. The staff greets you and make you feel welcome when you walk in. When I return I would love to take a walking tour to explore the whole center. This seem like it's my kind of place. I will definitely be returning soon.

Summer camp kids return from Wednesday field trips hours late. Bus service once forgot about the kids return trip.

This is the place for family fun!! Clean environment, security in place and decent prices for activities. There is ample free parking which is a plus!

This is a place that people need to come and just experience what,and how they help these young lost black males. I'm A 56 year old business man from Harvey IL.LA FITNESS ,MELANIE CENTER ,WASTE OF MONEY .EXCELLENT PLACE TO GET A WORKOUT ON OR IN .STATE OF THE ARTS FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT.NO HATS AND PULL THEM FREAKING PANTS,AND SHORTS UP. THEY ENFORCE RULES TOWARDS ALL.

Good place with lots of activities for all ages. My only complaint is some of the front desk staff needs to be a little more professional and less attitudy and more informative when your asking questions about the programs. I shouldn t be told to look in the book if I m standing right inside the place and asking additional more detailed information.

Its k. But the lady that registered my sister was very nasty towards us. And I think its quite a shame that you are not able to view the place because you are not a member but trying to become one. You have to sign up first to look around the facility. And if you are not a member and you are waiting up front for someone, you cannot go to the restroom. That's why ... I will keep the rest of my comments to myself.

My family has a monthly membership for the club. The cost is only $59.00 a month and it allow 5 family member in. My son loves the place. It is very clean and the staff and other members are very friendly. It has something for everyone. I would recommend getting a membership for you and the family.

First time I've gone ,I took my grand kids and nephews and we had a great time. I think the locker area need some attention. Maybe the lockers with locks all ready on the locker, you just have to put your own number in. And the numbers change out with every different use on its on. It beats having to buy a lock. And the area need widen with more lockers and private space to change clothes. For women, men, and children. You need more showers. I never been upstairs but downstairs need work. The pools are just fine. I want to make Kroc a home base where I can come and relax through out the week.. Do you have a line dance and aqua aerobics ?

My daughter takes swim lessons here. Her instructor Mr. Clifford is very patient and passionate about his job. He makes sure that the kids are safe, have fun, and learn! Half and half of the staff are friendly but that doesn't take away from our experience.

I love the Kroc Center! Plenty of classes for the mind, body and soul!

Their representatives are cordial and friendly and the facility is one of the best that I have ever visited

I think it was OK but when I went it was extremely crowded they kept telling us to get out of the pool and it's a little small but it's OK for a little kids birthday party

When I lived w/my stepdad, I volunteered here, but when I moved, it became too difficult to get here.

Good spot, especially for kids. I give it 4 stars because this is a awesome facility, best pool in Southside area, indoor track, basketball courts, and weights. I knocked a star because they do have funny rules and each employee can be different on them. I can't always swim because no employee is at that particular pool, and I had arguments with some of the inexperienced employees about my swimming goggles although the manager said it's no problem. If they could stop this and have normal rules then this place would be 5 stars.

Defiantly a fun space for adults and children...aslo a very safe environment,and on top of that it offers swimming lessons.

This is a great place especially for families. The Kroc Center Staff is polite and professional. The building maintenance is beyond well kept. Its worth trying them out.

They also offer banquet hall rentals and birthday rooms for kids.

Looking for a clean and safe swimming area for my 10 -12 yr old girl this weekend. I found it to be a wonderful pool and extra things to do. Lots of kids on weekend but more than enough space to move around. We are planning to come back again!

The Kroc center provides activities that are satisfactory for the whole family. There is a atmosphere of positivity. Maybe the good spirit is there because it has a Church with kind and considerate members.
