Awesome and fun place. Very lively. Free line dance classes on Thursday night. Definitely worth checking out. I wasn't a fan of the food but the drinks were good.

New years dinner, i was very pleased with my choices for dinner. The Rabbit loin was my favorite. The braised beef cheek definitely mouth watering, i had to ask for another bone marrow the first one was overcooked. The manager brought another one out. That one was the creme de creme. Nice work chefs

First time here. They have been open for 8 years. Great food, with matching high prices.

I've never been treated as poorly as when in this dive...sure the place is nice too look at, but, the staff is are very rude. There are not enough seats in the house and those that are not occupied have a "fake" reserved table sign. Standing close to the dance flour will get you a visit from the "staff" saying that standing in the isle is forbidden...and God forbid you attempt to dance something other than what they prescribe as acceptable to a preordained song. If everyone one the floor is doing a waltz or cha-cha you will be asked to leave the flour if you don't conform. Individualism is not okay. I had very short stay at the ranch...it's over priced, over advertised, over priced, and over rated!

First class place. Food, service and ambiance all top shelf. Had a group of 18 for a business function and everything was handled perfectly. Can't wait to go back.

Pre Covid: This review pertains to their event catering. Food was delectable. Steak and chicken cooked to perfection and oh soooo good!

What a nice eating place in the area! All of their foods are quickly prepared and looked very delicious. The ambiance is great especially for any family occasions or any special occasions that you want to do. Their staves were also very helpful and kind. I want to come back there again! Keep up the awesome work, guys! Very strongly recommended to everyone!

Delicious food , very good service, patio was nice needs a bit more effort to get food quicker.... the patio seems like an afterthought. Valet is nice, why are you charging me 6$ for it? It should be complimentary after the cost of the meal.

This place is an excellent find for CA. Known for being one of the most romantic dinner settings. I thought it had a very cool vibe! It is a bit pricey, but expected for the place and the quality of food.

Had an awesome time here last night. Rob was our server and extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The prime rib was great but the real star of the show was the cowboy ribeye. Beef carpaccio was also a hit, and immediately made our table smell like truffle. Highly recommend.

Our waiter was happy to make recommendations since it was our first visit and every single thing we had was delicious. Everything was expertly prepared and plated, well seasoned, and so very flavorful. This is one of our top 3 anniversary dinners we have ever had, hands down. highly recommend

The restaurant has a nice dim light ambience, great for romantic dinners yet there are other seating sections as well with warm light for regular occasions.

Everything came SUPER HOT! The bread was fresh soft and delicious. The lobster Mac was to die for! Super flavorful super creamy super piping HOT! Even though it was a delivery togo order everything came HOT. Thank you for setting the BAR so damn high! Will be the only steakhouse we frequent from now on.

Wife and I have never been to the Ranch and decided to try this place for our 10 year anniversary. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance as we were worried about how busy this place could get. When we arrived we were promptly taken to our table. We didn't order any appetizers but there bread wheel was amazing.

For the main course we ordered the cowboy ribeye and the salmon. The food came out in a reasonable time and was cooked to perfection. This place is pretty pricey but is a great place to go for special occasions.

I decided to take my husband to The Ranch for his birthday. I was so excited, I thought it would be great. We ordered the popovers for appetizer, they were burnt. So we sent them back. The manager apologised and told us they bring us more on the house. They never came. My husband ordered the prime rib. He loved it. I first orederd the short rib, very greasy, sent it back and had filet minon. It was dry and small on a huge plate served with nothing else. I was Very disappointed with the service. It was loud with the bar guest facing your table. It did not feel like a five star restaurant. We will not be back.

Highly recommended restaurant! My family had a great family dinner in this restaurant. The whole family really enjoyed the food. My mom loves carbonara and the Brussels sprout that she ordered. We loved the place because it was so cozy and relaxing. The staves were so friendly. They made sure that we had everything that we needed.

The Ranch never disappoints. I come here at least 3 times a year and it's like it gets better everytime I go. The ribeye steak is probably the best thing on the menu. The ambiance is nice and quiet, and I love the dark setting. Perfect for a dinner date.

If nothing else, come for the patio / garden during sunset for a chill and calm vibe. AND absolutely get the Vegan Vindaloo. I am NOT a strict vegan by any means, but this dish could convert me. Just incredible. This place reminds me of some of the great rustic farm to table places in Napa / Sonoma.

My husband and I came here this evening, and really enjoyed ourselves. Our prime rib was great, and our waitress Tina was very informative, and super friendly! We will be back for more!

It was amazing. The food was great and so was the service we never felt like we were alone nor crowded. Dont let the 3$ fool you. It's closer to 4$-5$ but worth it if you have the money.

The service and good were amazing! We went on a Tuesday night for my birthday and it was very special. Each of us ordered a French onion soup and we split the dry age steak and a twice baked potato. Took half of it home! It was so good.

Restaurant.was fine but the saloon a dreadful place. 10.00 cover no place to sit unless you paid large amount of money to reserve a table. If your single forget it, they jump on you if you walk up and ask a woman to dance. If your a couple you get thrown off the dance floor by a bouncer who monitors your dancing. If you and your dance partner do the 3 boring basic country dances perfectly at the same time everyone else dances, the guy embarrasses you in front of everyone and escorts you and your partner to get off the floor. Even when there was even 3 other couples on the floor and tons of room, no fancy dancing or newbies allowed on the floor. You get bullied. Terrible place to have fun. I watched couples off away from other couples laughing dancing and a minute later a dance monitor walks up to them and tells them leave the floor. As a professional dancer, being told every song how to dance, limited to three dances that are basic, it was not a date night place with your spouse. Came across fake, not a romantic night kind of place.

Delicious food! Had Shrimp Scampi, spinach salad, butternut squash ravioli, creme brulee. Amazing service!

For my entree I got the Prime Rib Special and that came with White Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes that were just amazing. The Prime Rib was absolutely THE BEST Prime Rib that I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and when paired with their horseradish sauce...it was just perfect.

Not a dancing guy, but the food, drinks, and sights make this a cool place

Wanted to do something unique to friends 50th anniversary and also visit the ranch. Fantastic food and service. Enough for two people but not we obtained two. Brought home the leftovers and needed for lunch another two weeks. Fantastic night. Very pricey but worthwhile.

Can I just start with Oh My Goodness! I'm not sure how I never found this when searching for steakhouses in Anaheim

This definitely out does Morton's and Ruth Chris's Steakhouse. There's a reason why it was voted Best Restaurant of the Year 2020. Everything we had was delicious and amazing.

Here's a list of what we had:
1. 50 oz. Porterhouse - cooked medium to perfection. Literally melts in your mouth and seasoning was on point that you didn't need sauces they provided.
2. Lobster mac n cheese- So creamy and flavorful
3. Creme Brulee with madelines- The madelines were so cute and I believe it was like a lemon poppyseed. Creme brulee was nice and creamy.
4. PB bar with Concord Grape ice cream - Peanut butter bar was heavenly and creamy, the ice cream was a nice twist. Definitely not your average dessert.
5. Bread wheel- complimentary but it was so fresh and delicious. Each roll was different.

I definitely look forward to coming back. Staff was super friendly and made sure I had silverware and napkins, since I ordered takeout and wasn't from around here.

The service was top notch. We were seated right at the time of our reservation. My husband's new York strip was cook and seasoned absolutely perfectly. The waitress was so good at telling us about each drink, appetizer, main course, and dessert that she thought we might enjoy and we loved it all. The atmosphere was perfect and not too pretentious which my husband and I appreciated. Would go back

A+ service to go along with some of the best tasting steaks ever. If you are in the mood for great food look no further.

Overall everything was eh I had the salmon and ceviche it was all eh. Mid meal 2 fat roaches crawled up the wall, the staff did nothing but laugh it off.

First time coming here and it was GREAT. The food was great and the customer service. The complimantry birthday ice cream was incredible one of a kind. At the end of our dinner we asked if we could see the dancing salon and they showed it to us, that was very nice. Can't wait for it to open so we could come check it out.

Great food! Best 15 dollar burger I ever had the new York steak was good to but dang that prime rib was even better oh all so good there sauces are very good too, made to perfection with all the spices they needed in there

I love this place! Definitely located in an odd area of Anacrime! lol! The restaurant is located on the lower level of the Extron Electronics building. The ambiance inside is great. The attire here I feel is dressy or at least dress up your jeans or something! It's a great place for a romantic dinner, a business meeting, or even some sort of celebration. They had this for restaurant week, but unfortunately I missed it due to a busy schedule.

However the food there is amazing and the service was great! We ordered the Rabbit Gnocchi, Roasted Vegetables, 58oz Cowboy Ribeye with potatoes, and Milky Way dessert! For the Cowboy Ribeye steak, you will definitely need to share it! It is really good and definitely recommended to try it at least once! If you can't finish it take it to go, and trust me, it still tastes great the next day! All the other dishes were just as good! Will be coming back to try other greatness here!

I visit this spot a lot since I work nearby. I like how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place clean regularly. Rates are convenient and they serve generous portions.

It is a place of great proportions, with live bands playing American Folk and in the middle a very large wooden dance floor and the "cowboys" dance folk with very synchronized steps. Fun to go at least once.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is appetizing and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a pleasant time. warmly recommended.

We made reservations, and were seated promptyl. This place is going above and beyond with safety precautions and we felt 100% safe the entire time. Our waiter was happy to make recommendations since it was our first visit and every single thing we had was delicious. This restaurant really cannot be rated. It stands ALONE! There is fine dining, then there is extraordinary dining. The Ranch is extraordinary beyond words. From the time you hit the parking lot until you leave, extraordinary is what you will receive. The food cannot be compared to any restaurant in its category. Its what's not on the menu that is the most impressive. I mean from the starters to dessert it's phenomenal. The caesar salad and kale salad was unbelievable. The main courses will blow you away. Find out what's not on the menu. My wife had the Delmonico and ot was butter. The prime rub, OMG! The Chilean sea bass, lamb chops spectacular. It's expensive but the best money I've spent all year. Please call and make it a bucket list item! If you want to impress your date or business associates, the Ranch is it! A real big shout to the management, Steen Green, our waiter, Jason, who just killed it! and our table server, Pablo who was just awesome! Customer service has a new face! It's the Ranch.

Our favorite place to eat in Orange Co. service & food is always excellent, only negative; last visit we walked in not looking above average as we usually come in after work, was completely ignored by the manager at check in, after a few minutes of silence the hostess spoke up & checked us in. After that as usual everything was excellent

I loved visiting this place for a great time with great food. Great service. The tomahawk was my favorite item. Loved eating, drinking and going dancing next door. Can't wait for Covid to go away

I never, EVER give 5-star reviews ... but The Ranch Restaurant definitely deserves one! The food was simply SUBLIME. My husband and I had a course of the Mexican Prawn Cocktail and Lobster Macaroni and Cheese and it was magnificent! And the Butternut Squash Soup? Beyond delicious. We also split the Porterhouse (which was a little on the pricey end at $150, but well worth it) and were so glad we did. It was quite possibly the BEST STEAK we have ever eaten. And we've eaten a lot of steak! If you have a special occasion dinner coming up, you definitely need to try The Ranch. PS: Our server Michael was a treat! He recommended the popcorn ice cream (yes, I said it!), and then had caramel sauce poured over the top, and it tasted just like caramel corn. I've never experienced anything like it!

The food was way over priced for the amount and quality. We've been there several times in year's past, but the food is not the same! Has really gone down hill and the inside is looking really worn and needs some deep cleaning

First time here .. atmosphere is pleasant but a little noisy but still allows for intimacy..seating is good. The food is excellent and filling! Had the Seabass and it was very light but perfectly cooked. The steaks are amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable about menu items and checked often on us. I would probably make the tables a little bigger but it works. Reservations are a must! Pricey but worth it. Would definitely eat here again.

Everyone is really nice here and you can feel very comfortable dancing with people even if you don't like to be touched (mostly line dancing).

Had an excellent evening (as always) at The Ranch. Kenter Canyon Organic Mixed green salad was so great as was BLT wedge salad. The massive Aspen Ridge New York steaks are cooked to perfection and accompanied by delicious Sweet Potatoes, Blue Cheese, Arugula and House-Made Pancetta. Would have loved to try the deserts but we were too full. Plan ahead it books up. We ll be back.

This restaurant had amazing service and the food was amazing. Our server was able to help us with our alcohol choices as well as our steak. Definitely recommend and will visit The Ranch again. I think his name was walley?(:

This place was beyond amazing. The service in every department was great. Our head waiter James was very professional, gave us wonderful recommendations and let us know of any inconveniences right away. The food was a bar above the rest. From the starters, the entrees, and our complimentary dessert, this place was a KO!

That was an satisfying service and food. Always top notch, consistent, food is tremendous, service excellent we go a handful of times annually for business and pleasure. Last night was our friends first time they were blown away.

Everything we had tasted good. Drinks were good too. I dont line dance but it was entertaining to watch. The only issue was the cover charge at the saloon.

They offer a large range of delicious food. I enjoyed dining here. Staff members are always very welcoming, prices are convenient and the place is always well organised.

The outside and the surrounding area do not do the inside justice. I bought the rib eye and it was delicious, a bit more fat than I prefer, but that's just preference. The lobster mac and cheese is amazing i wish it was a main dish, as i wanted more. The candied bacon whiskey is good as well. The bacon was some of the best i had, the whiskey itself tasted like jack Daniel's, so if you like it, like I did then you will be fine. Do expect to spend some money here

Amazing service, outstanding food but consider sharing a meal...huge portions! Be sure to step out of your comfort zone & try new things, we did & were amazed!

I can't attest to the food qlty, ambience, or service. Made reservations to go but when the day arrived and my wife and I were set to go we found a very sick pet at home. So we called before the reservation time as soon as we could and explained our situation to only be told we would be charged $50 for cancelling. Shame on you Ranch. I will never recommend nor endorse a restraunt that acts in this manner.
