Great Cowboy ribeye steak. Perfect for a 17 year old.

I always have a great experience here at the Ranch. My glass is always full, the food is perfectly prepared and set in front of me. The staff is friendly and managers even check in on us to make sure that we are having a perfect time. Even if the restaurant is busy, we never feel like we've been forgotten or unattended. It's always a treat and we leave feeling full and pampered.

Best steaks are really amazing. the service is very slow. The vegetable platter I didn't like at all I do not recommend.

Was here for a family birthday dinner and got seated in a quiet sealed off area in the back. Service was very attentive for our large group size and mix of ages (8 adults and 6 kids). Food was all delicious and great pairings of wine and mixed drinks. Even the steak dish for children was well proportioned. Pictured is the Cowboy Ribeye, which cut up to share between two people. Probably on the fatter side but so delicious

The food is just amazing . The staff was really friendly you have to try the boneless chicken and the salmon is really good . Healthy fresh and prices are really great ... must try the garlic sauce it was soo good that I asked to take some to go

If you don't know how to line dance do not come here, so sad to know you are not welcomed if you aren't a certain race..asked by security not to dance if you don't know how to line dance..

As a professional business traveler who has visited many of the best resturants in every major city I will have to say the food at the ranch was spectacular. The service was over the top, the lamb chops were the best I have ever had. without hesitation, I would recommend the ranch. I was there with a group of 16 and we all felt the same way. I look forward to another chance to visit.

We had an amazing and lively experience! The Veal Cheek Stroganoff was the best i've ever had, and the Brussel Sprouts were delicious. Your waiter might offer a Buttered Popcorn ice cream and trust me when I say do it. It sounds gross but we destroyed the whole bowl, it's out of this world.

What a beautiful venue! A must see and do new in OC!

Great food, excellent service, and a fun environment!

One of the best filet mignons I have had in years. It was so flavorful and juicy that I thought I was going to do the happy dance right in the middle of the restaurant! The mashed potatoes were excellent, and so were the roasted vegetables. The service was exemplary. This restaurant far exceeded my expectations and I would give my highest recommendation for it to anyone who asks.

Looking for something a cut above? You shall find it here! Hungry for steak? A lot of it?!! They'll round up a 58oz Cowboy steak for ya. It's tender, juicy and well seasoned. This place also has one of the most heavenly dishes I've had the pleasure of placing in my mouth: Chilean Sea bass with Jambalaya. A - MA - ZING! Finally, our waiter, Wally, was one of the best! The barkeep, Buckets, was totally on point!

I will start by saying I don't believe our experience was normal, but it is the 2nd time I have dined here and neither was good.

Our party of 6 arrived on time for our reservations. It is a busy time of year for large groups. It took more than 10 minutes to seat us as they were "just placing some items on the table" weren't ready. Personally I do not like the main dining area. It's open, loud, not very private.

Our waitress was nice and personable. Our first drink orders came out quickly, our appetizers came out at a decent rate. We had 2 popover orders, scallops (off menu) and shrimp cocktail.

We put in our dinner orders (2 filets, chicken, prime rib, a 50oz bonein and a few sides). About 75 minutes later (after asking where our food was) my chicken came, and within a few minutes the rest of the food. Except, my veggies were cold, my chicken overly salted and dry - one filet tough and cool, the prime rib cold, the 50 oz steak cold and one filet didn't even appear. We mentioned all of it. So, they made the missing filet fresh and 10 minutes later brought it around and offered to warm the prime rib and 50 oz. Unfortunately...reheating a steak means..overcooking it. After 20 more minutes a bus boy finally asked if I needed anything and I explained he could just take my food since it was cold, dry and salty. Only then did they offer to replace it. It was complete chaos. The manager was extremely defensive citing they were busy (orders went in around 9pm). Eventually they apologized and removed all of the food from the bill. But, for our company Christmas party..it completely killed the mood. We had planned to go to the saloon..but we were all disappointed and hungry.

There were so many things they could've done differently to change our experience..but clearly they stay busy and our revenue wasn't a loss.

The scallops were nice but also very salty. The shrimp was tasty and fresh with a nice cocktail sauce with a kick. Lobster mac n cheese very good when warm, the filet was good but not the best I have had, the mashed potatoes were okay. I don't recommend the chicken or prime rib.

We had been at the Blind Rabbit before and had amazing cocktails including pappy 15 year. Typically ordering a $180+ shot gets you decent service. At the Rabbit ...it was amazing. At the Ranch where we ordered the 23 year... nothing and it was under poured.

I hope others have much better experiences but I say..lower your expectations and save your money.

Going here for many years, loads of books to choose from. Helpful & courteous owner. Extremely low prices.

The departure day of our annual Disneyland trip was to treat the kids to Goofy's kitchen and let them interact with all of the various Disney Characters. They had a blast and the food was very good.

My girl and I had a terrific time. Fantastic atmosphere and food.

I ve been traveling to OC almost yearly for the last 11 years and each year make it a point build on my list of repeat visit restaurants. The Ranch rocketed to the top of my list. I had an amazing meal here. The dining room and entry are beautiful. The service was top notch and a cut above the rest in Anaheim. The food was great! I think the poppers and steak could be seasoned a little bit more with salt but the meal was expertly constructed otherwise. See you next year Ranch!

An amazing meal from start to finish....That is what I remember from dining there almost a month ago...

The beet salad, is divinely.... Make sure to get it! Even if you hate beets, still get it. It will change your mind forever.

The prime rib, is fit for king or a queen or both.... Regardless, it was sooo tender and juicy that would melt in your mouth.

The lamb chops, no words can describe it.... Cooked to perfection (medium-well), yes the way I like it....

The bar area is beautiful.... Get a drink or 2 while waiting for your table. Making a reservation via open table was a breeze one week in advance though.... It is a popular upscale restaurant close to Disneyland, so plan accordingly!

Christina did a great job at the bar.. she revealed a couple of her specialty drink recipes that were... yes.. published in the LA Times.. GO Christina.. Our meal was fantastic. Farm fresh organic produce in a charming and classy environment.. followed by an amazing protein delivered in a way far exceeding my expeditions.. well done chef.. Do not skip a chance to experience The Ranch..

One of my favorite steakhouses in the OC. Elegant ambience, attentive staff, great food.

Everything from appetizers to steaks to desserts are well crafted. Their Cowboy Ribeye is huge!

Definitely recommended for a date night or a special occassion. There's even a nice saloon next door to take the edge off before or after!

And they're finally open for indoor dining after a long pandemic closure! Can't wait to go back when I'm in LA again

Not your every day dining kind of place, The Ranch is special. Everything from the environment to the food presentation has been crafted to perfection!

Amazing! but it was my first time at a fancy place when the waiter placed my napkin on my lap i low key almost punched him but i have ptsd from sexual assault all throughout my childhood and hey caught me off guard..but everything from the service to the food dessert and drinks was awesome!

The food and service here is excellent. The wine list is extensive. There was a good selection of Italian reds something not very common for a steakhouse. I tried the salmon and New York steak. Both were excellent.

The food deserves negative ratings, the ambiance is great! Perfect after work spot to hangout. The service is amazing as well.

As far as the food goes :
I went to The Ranch with high hopes. Got the chef menu in addition to the popovers and Lobster mac and cheese and many deserts..
BAJA STONE CRAB GAZPACHO - Not Fresh. WAY TOO SALTY! I had to use all the blood orange just to be able to swallow it

WILD HARVESTED MANO DE LEON SEA SCALLOPS - I was very excited about this, since I love scallops. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! The scallops were chewy and salty.

MEYER RANCH PRIME FLAT IRON STEAK - Oh boy they messed this one up! This dish was not even cut the right way. The steak was drenched in sauce! Def not a good dish. I almost had to force myself to finish every single dish.
STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE - The best dish of the night.. Truly enjoyed this

POPOVERS- they were good
PBJ & MILK CHOCOLATE BAR - Almost a bit too dense, but def a good one

Overall I was very disappointed in the food

I was at the sandals event had the most fabulous beef really good service excellent place I give it five stars!

Out of the park ! This is one of the top steakhouses in the country. Everything my dinner mates and me ordered was fabulous ! I had the lamb and it was prepared perfectly. Contemporary yet traditional this place will be a must go when I am in town. The server was excellent firendlyand with a great understanding and ability to describe the e menu in great detail.

Got a chance to go there tonight. Great meal, even better drinks and great service!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Orange County. The quality of the food and ambiance has never disappointed me. The bar is exceptionally well stocked and the drinks are expertly mixed. The main courses are great but I usually prefer making a meal out of multiple appetizers for the variety. Don't skip the soup and leave room for dessert, even if it's just a glass of port.

From beginning to end it was simply perfect! The waitress was Tina and she did an awesome job explaining the process of how the dishes are made! It was my birthday celebration with a very close friend and I absolutely loved everything! Will definitely come back for more!! So happy this place is open!!

I just enjoy the taste of steak served in this restaurant. It has a perfect flavor that will definitely please your taste buds. The support crews were very neat and hospitable. I strongly recommend this place to you.

Had a wonderful evening at the Ranch. This will always be on my top 5 restaurants. Aaron was amazing as always and it was good seeing everyone being safe. A bit stuffy & pretentious. Very little standing room. I've noticed that if you don't know the security staff they can be rude. On the plus side, the security keeps a good eye on female guests.

Thank you Megan for taking care of my special lady for Mother's Day. We had a great time. Matt even performed a magic trick for our daughter, Clark Kent was there as was the lady in the red dress. The night is complete five stars easy thank you for a memorable evening.

Clean & friendly environment for a good time to country dance. Sundays are family days.

Service so bad it doesn't matter how great the food and ambiance are, and they are world class.

This place is too expensive to pay for the privilege of being treated like dirt by the front staff.

There are too many other options where my patronage is appreciated for me to want to waste my time, frustration and money here ever again.

Don't forget to read the dance floor rules before you put your feet in.

The Cowboy Rib Steak is Awesome!!! The Staff and all the Crews are all great!... This place is really nice...A must visit when you're in Anaheim!...

The New York Steak, the Ribeye are delicious! They have a great selection of wines too.

The steak was astounding...Not even kidding, the meat was tender, and when they brought it out it was the size of a loaf of bread! And, to top it all off they did rare the right way! It wasn't a pathetic pink medium well that they called rare, the steak was exactly what I wanted.

Next comes the service, our server did a fantastic job, he wasn't overbearing and was always available when we wanted, not just when we were ordering the meal. He made himself available throughout the entire dinner, provided us with information regarding every dish we inquired about, and even volunteered to escort us to the country club version of The Ranch next door.

The only thing that was remotely less than perfect about the experience was the bar. Perhaps it is because I ordered a holiday special beverage, but seeing the bartender having to go back to his notes multiple times was a bit of a disappointment. The drink was quite good, it was a whiskey based holiday drink called La Joyeaux Scotsman, and it had that strong flavor that I was looking for with minimal sweetness for a holiday drink.

Had dinner here once during our stay in Disneyland. The food was great and will not disappoint. The only negative thing was the wait. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food to be ready and the place wasn't that busy.

Food, excellent; service, not so much. Especially for the price point this place comes in at. I thought the greeter was going to fade away when I expected get to carry my cocktail to the table. And my waiter was much more knowledge than listening. He didn't have a lot of time for questions.

Food looked better than it tasted. We searched around for a couple hours and choose this place based on the reviews and pictures. We ordered the lamb chops and the new York strip with lobster mac and twice baked potatoes and finished with the sticky toffee pudding. The main courses we ok, mine was under seasoned and my fiance was pretty good(lamb chops) the monster Mac was Gross and twice baked potatoes were just ok. The star of the night was the sticky toffee pudding, it was delicious! Service and staff were top notch which is why we have 3 stars. Oh also ordered the 5 onion soup, which is a French onion soup, it was VERY sweet.

Had a bad experience with one of the staff members. I was at a company party about 2 weeks ago and me and my friend had got there a little after they served the food. When we sat down waiting for our plates. No one served us. So then we ask one of the waiters for our food. Then tells us they served everyone already and that they were going to clear the tables. I told him thst we just got here and other people were still eating. He told me that downstsdow they will be serving sliders in a bit. So then we go downstairs and they didn't have anything. I asked a server downstairs if they had any sliders and they said they weren't gonna serve anyone for 2 hours. We were starving and upset.

Didn't go to the restaurant, but the bar and line dancing after hours is super fun. Two huge bars, a variety of people, everyone having a good time. Check it out!

Where do I begin?
1. The manager (I assume because he was in a full suit) was so nice. My mother in law wanted a different seat because it was her birthday and we couldn't see the inside of the restaurant. He brought us to a new table and made sure we all set.

2.Aaron(Erin) I dont know how to spell his name. He was amazing! I have over 10 years of serving experience and over 7 years of customer service management experience. He was perfect! He was patience with my 4 year old daughter. He engaged with everyone at the table and made us laugh the entire time. He took the time to explain every piece of the menu and gave us his favorites. Star of the show.

3. The food was hands down amazing. The New York steak was made perfectly medium rare! All of our food was great! My wife ordered the lamb chops and the only thing she could say was Oh My God!

Overall the entire experience was great!

Friendly customer service, great selection of beer! If it's your first time here, I highly recommend the behemoth. Two Texas size toast grilled cheese as the bun for burger.

Fun experience, line dancing tops the evening with cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating. Definitely trying this place again!

Excellent scene for quality American food. The food was amazing. Nothing but great experiences here. This place has an awesome feel to it.

Food took forever and my salmon was delivered Raw in the middle. This is the second time I've been there and someone in my part had am issue with the food. Probably not returning unfortunately.

Food was great. Brian our server was not at all.
Reasons: Felt rushed, felt pressured to order "add ons"no service considering this place is very expensive. This is our 4th time and we enjoy the food. This Brian needs to learn customer service skills,. We had Avian water and finished the bottle. Another Avian bottle shows up without even asking us if we wanted another. Of course he wants his check to be as high as it can get. This was the feel about our server. He didnt want to even talk, baring in mind its a Monday night, not a weekend.
After this experience, I don't think I will be back for our 5th visit.

Best service I have ever had at a restaurant. The food was fantastic with more than I should have eaten. Normally the places that have 50 dollar entrees serve food that looks good and the micro amount you eat tastes good. Had a lamb shank that the waitress compared to a Flintstone bone she was right . The desert a Twisted Milkyway looked fantastic and was very good also . After we were done eating the manager escorted us over to the Saloon. Live country band with lots of people dancing

The food was amazing! I tried the short beef and it came off with the back of my fork. No knife required. The Cowboy Rib Eye was ordered as well and it was super juicy, and tasty. The potatoes served with it was to die for! They stated warm the whole time we were there. 10/10 would go again!

Couldn't rate more than the service since I couldn't get in. I arrived wearing shorts and didn't pass the dresscode enforcer outside the front door. I don't mind a dress code, but the enforcer was an overweight unshaven guy wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

First time here .. atmosphere is pleasant but a little noisy but still allows for intimacy..seating is good. The food is excellent and filling! Had the Seabass and it was very light but perfectly cooked. The steaks are amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable about menu items and checked often on us. I would probably make the tables a little bigger but it works. Reservations are a must! Pricey but worth it. Would definitely eat here again.

Finest food, friendly staff members, consistently good vibes. They charge reasonable pricing and the food quality is good. 5 stars.

Arriving with a party of six can mean a two hour wait since they don't take reservations. Food decent, but not sure it was worth it. There's better Pappardelle Chinghiale in CA. and those place will allow you to make a reservation.

To add salt to the wound, once we finally got seated, service was slow.

First off, my Wife and I have been here quite a bit over the past few years and have spent a lot of money here.
If it weren't for the rude DJ that cares more about taking pictures of the girls (creepy) and playing the opposite of what people request, then this place may get a few more stars.
I didn't even mind paying for the over priced drinks and tiny pour shots...heck, even the dance floor nazi security can be put up with, but isn't hearing the music that gets the dance floor packed what it's all about at a "Country Night Club"...?
As the night goes on, the place thins out fast and I believe the music has much to do with it.
Seriously, make the extra drive to Montana's...great DJ, affordable drinks, fun atmosphere and people don't leave as the night goes on.

The experience of dining at The Ranch was delightful. The staff was friendly, everyone eating was spaced apart and the environment was comfortable. The food was delicious and the Porterhouse we ordered was tender, juicy and had alot of flavor in every bite. Our server, helped us with her suggestions when ordering and everything came out fairly quick. I will definitely come back again.

Great hospitality and the steaks melt in your mouth. I had the bacon old fashioned to drink, pretty good. Atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.

I gave this place a try today with my husband was very disappointed the cowboy rib eye that was mind you 120 was totally raw waited for over an hour was burned from the outside and raw inside. The only reason we didnt get up and leave was the waitress she was amazing. We felt so bad for her because she went above and beyond to try and make us happy but the food was a major disappointment I can honestly say the most expensive isnt always good.

I've been going there for lunch for a while. The food is very good and you can get it half price for lunch which makes it very good value.
