The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon Review

Came here with my SO to celebrate our anniversary. From food to service, everything was top notch. Our waiter, Joel, was exceptional and absolutely the best. Since it was our first time at the Ranch, we weren't completely sure what to order. But Joel was very knowledgeable about the foods and the specials and recommended the burrata for appetizer and swordfish risotto for one of our entrees. Both foods did not disappoint. We ordered:
- Going out on a Pimm
- Di Stefano Burrata
- 58oz Cowboy Ribeye
- Swordfish Risotto
- Lobster Mac n' Cheese

I will genuinely give the restaurant I was here the highest rating and strong positive reviews. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is romantic and cozy.

Amazing food and service, be prepared for the price. Really, it s the only reason I can t give 5 stars. Farm to table vegetables were so tasty and excellently prepared. I have never had charred artichokes like that, but my taste buds were blown away. For dessert we elected to have the popcorn ice cream, which we were told only comes out when someone is celebrating something, which we were. I don t know how it s made, and I never thought the idea of popcorn ice cream would sound good, but again, blew my taste buds away. The green bean casserole is better than any I ve ever tasted. Very rich flavors, all worth trying.
The service was also on par for the price, so it was excellent. I ll definitely go back again, but only on special occasions due to the price.

Excellent Service and nice presentations. Our dinner of scallops was yummy as was the delicious beet salad.

The Ranch and The Saloon (its sister bar and dance floor next door) are an OC treasure and once you find out about it, you'll be back. Food is amazing but a little expensive. Learn about the backstory of this place, and you'll understand why it was built to be so perfect.

We continue to love the consistently great food here, and it's our default restaurant for special occassions. We also continue to be disappointed in their wine list. Even Outback offers more than one Sauv Blanc and Pinot Gris by the glass! If I want to have a varietal with an appetizer, and different varietal with the entree, I don't need a bottle. I need selection! Shame on The Ranch for having such great food and such limited wine choices by the glass.

This was one of the best filet mignon that was cooked and seasoned perfect and the sea bass was great with side of twice baked potato LOADED with house smoked bacon & all the fixins

Last week was our first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the generous service, with the great meal and fine drinks and with the decent price. We will definitely visit there soon.
