The Plaza Hotel Reviews

Many of the staff, receptionist particularly are under the impression that they are doing paying guest a favour by serving them. They are driven by tips and perhaps a crash course in customer service will serve them well. If they are unhappy in the jobs they should leave. Paying USD800++ per night deserves a decent service at the least.

The dining hall below the hotel is awesome. Great good and drinks. Check it out when you're around

The lobby is really nice place to meet and relax. Sometimes live music in lobby. Bar upstairs and downstairs.

Great food court at the Plaza to catch a bite to eat in the area or meet friends for drinks after work.

The plaza food court is a lot of fun. There is a ton of options. You can get anything from a small snack to a full meal. The macaroons were really good. Also the Eliouse at the plaza store is great if you have a young girl!

Just can't beat the Plaza ... They are very kind and considerate to the disabled. They go above and beyond to serve. Yes they charge more however you get more. The food is super fresh and very reasonable... You can't get five star meals and service and not pay more...

You MUST dine in the lower level and get the lobster rolls. OMG to DIE FOR!

After arriving I took the elevator to the 3rd floor and got chased away by security. No signs were posted that the floor was off limits.

We visited The Plaza's food hall for lunch. The entrance is so hidden you would have never known it was there, even if you've lived in New York all of your life. There were good options to choose from, no matter what your budget. My husband and I got crepes at Vive le Crepe and cupcakes at Billy's. I've will definitely be bringing my out of town friends here.

There are a good amount of Cafe, and nice sitting spot.

Beautiful, iconic hotel. Situated next to central park, I usually come here for the Todd English Food hall in the basement,which has offerings from Lady M crepe cakes, as well as some other food hall standards. The selection is all right, but the ambiance is unparalleled.

A definite landmark, but dear God how many people can afford such an ultra expensive hotel? Well if you can afford it, enjoy it to the full.

I visited the shops at the Plaza hotel with friends. We were just window shopping and walking through. The lower level does have quite a few places to eat.

A must try for the afternoon tea, pretty expensive though. Need to reserve well in advance (two weeks at least)

For having stayed in this hotel, I think they are the best in their area. Not only the dishes served are delicious, but also the staff demonstrates outstanding professionalism.

The plaza hotel food hall was a fantastic experience.

Wow, such a nice hotel with an amazing food hall. Didn t get the chance to stay here but would have absolutely loved the chance to. I went to the food hall with my family and it had some great choices. I especially loved the desserts - my chocolate cake was delicious!

The bar area in the Lobby is beautiful and worth checking out.

Nice lobby, I didn't get the chance to stay in, but I went there for lunch. The place to eat is underground and it's a little expensive as I thought. But the food is really good and there's a lot of variety.

We bought pasta in the food court, but we didn't find a table, so we had to take out and eat in Central Park, which turned out to be a nice experience.

Nice marble counter tops in the food plaza. Definitely a step up from a regular food court like the Urbanspace Vanderbilt or Hudson Eats.

Me and my family just finished our 3rd stay at the plaza and what can I say it just gets better and better. Had a slight issue which the hotel manager Andrew dealt with personally and made sure everything was sorted promptly. We stay at many 5* hotels and resorts across the world but the service this hotel offers is second to none, every guest is made to feel important and special. Well done again the plaza and a personal thank you again to Andrew. See you again soon

I went to eat and the food was very good with a lot of options to choose.

Landmark hotel in midtown Manhattan, located conveniently close to central park. The food court is amazing, lots of options for snacks. The winter decorations are fabulous.

Fantastic! We unexpectedly went to the champagne bar and had a fun experience!. Although the drinks are expensive they are also very generously sized. You're really getting 2 cocktails in 1 glass! Lovely atmosphere!

Cozy, lay back and dreamy. I love New York City having been born, raised and educated there. So when I go back to visit I spoil myself by staying at the Plaza. Central Park and all its wonders is right there at the front door. Fifth Avenue shops within walking distance. I prefer room service for my meals and consider the restaurants here the best. If you like to be spoiled the Plaza will do just that for you. They love doing that and are the best at doing just that.

Lots of variety, seating can be difficult to find. Has a little something for everyone.

The staff were great! The filet minion was excellent. I never eat medium rare steak, but their's is excellent!
