I was recently attended a bridal luncheon in the Plaza.. the food was absolutely delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
I was recently attended a bridal luncheon in the Plaza.. the food was absolutely delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
This hotel is based on the 1992 release of Home Alone 2. Also close to 5th Avenue-59th Street station.
Lovely hotel with a great food hall. I recommend the Italian place, and make sure to get some cake at one of the bakery counters too!
Went to the food hall for Pizza Rollio, never had such a thin pizza in my life, but it was delicious. With a group of 4 people, the pizza is more of a snack, and there are many great places to try.
Please call ahead to ask which menu they are serving!! We checked the brunch menu and were excited to go relive Eloise to be greeted with a minimum $75 spend afternoon tea when we arrived. We were never alerted that only afternoon tea would be served when making our reservation and the staff was anything but apologetic!!
They did not let us go see the lobby because we wanted to see if it was still similar from Home Alone 2 and there was a line we waited for 10 to then be told no
Lovely venue with second to none service. Had a great time at the last event there.
One of the best hotels in the city.
In him the child of "Solo en casa 2" takes refuge.
Do not forget to visit the lobby. All luxury
Had the most pleasant stay, all staff were fantastic. However, when I asked for a glass of water, the waiter said yes, and quickly brought me down a CUP of water and said he could not find a glass. I held it in shock and he looked at me and said 'don't worry, the faucet does not carry E.coli'.
I am not impressed!
One of NYC's finest hotels that offers terrific dining and shopping right next to Central Park.
The Palm Court is the ultimate spot for drinks or tea. NYC class at its least affordable
A very luxury hotel, that not anyone can afford to spend a night in, but without a doubt the experience is very good, the rooms are wonderful, the attention of the workers is very good, I recommend it
Used the Guerlain Spa at the Plaza and was an amazing one!
Loved the brunch Saturday morning. Planning on having a tee anytime soon
Great location, yet hotel is quite old and big but empty: big lack of furniture which makes it unwelcoming.
To their credit, they booked us last minute Boat House restaurant and we had a VIP service. Upon our departure, they gave me a sweet flower bouquet.
We had a suite with Central Park South view. The suite had high ceilings yet room facilities was old or annoying such as the safe box in a drawer linked only to two cables...and toilette seat bursted back sometimes.
No full mirror in the whole big suite!!
Housekeeping service very lazy: she kept on paying us compliments every time she saw us, yet she would not even pick up trays with tea for 2 days! Or not throwing plastic water bottles.
Overall, fairly good experience.
Restaurants were open on Winter Storm Day, making it easy to buy food and / or drinks in that area of the city.
The plaza food hall has areat selection of food and large variety. Reasonable prices. There's not a lot of room to sit around forever.
we just stayed and ate something in the food court. here's a beautiful and nice place.
Some good high end food food but the majority is not worth it.
Good shops, good places to sit. Great place for afternoon tea.
Spent an afternoon at the Shops at The Plaza. Particularly exploring the caviar section. Definitely spring for the more expensive stuff because salmon caviar is like swallowing beach water. Try Siberian Sturgeon and above. Service was pretty good. The other vendors are great as well.
I went to a bachelorette party that stopped near the Plaza. The place looked very nice and was very walkable
I am in the good service is from the movie my poor little angel
Lots of food options in a food court, plus some fancier restaurants. Elegant and pleasant.
The food hall was beautiful and the food tasted delicious. The staff was super helpful and very courteous all the way up to helping find transportation home.
Jais adored but 7 night at the plaza a very pleasant very chic and luxurious welcome
I went into The Plaza to eat some deserts at Billy's Bakery and La Maison Du Chocolat. The snacks were pricey but the ambiance of everything was upscale. The staff was very friendly and they made sure that I was comfortable with everything. The only minor issue is the place is crowded at times with tourists just like times square, but that's something that can't be helped.
Wi-Fi present ... pasta not height better to eat more
Gentile, wonderful view of Central Park. Very comfortable to do everything or almost on foot
One night costs nearly half a fortune, but it was worth every penny! We enjoyed together with our children very nice days in the hotel and can recommend it.
The Plaza food mall is a wonderful place to get delicious, high quality food without breaking your wallet. Lady M desserts are amazing and the bahn mi at the asian stall was on the money.
Iconic. Very special place to create a special memory while in NYC. Thoroughly recommend. The location is perfection.
A true icon to the city of New York. 5 stars all the way around
Classic but a favorite of New York and without a doubt the best memories and good moments bring me whenever I'm visiting the city. Its proximity to Central Park and 5th Avenue is vital for me because of how much I enjoy in both places. Very spacious rooms, the best, although nowadays already somewhat "outdated".
Great location. Close to everything. Kind of expensive, but it's all first-rate.
Fancy place with an upscale but affordable food hall in the basement.
I have always been a truly loyal fan of The Plaza. No matter what other hotels are out there, I'll always stay here when I am in the city. I have visited a lot of hotels in the world and even tho they re beautiful and magical, still none comes close to The Plaza. It is not about the price or how luxurious, it is just Plaza hotel is the synonym of itself; a living landmark. I wouldn't feel NYC the same way again if Plaza wasn't there.
Do you want to feel like Eloise? Stay here to feelclike a bougie princess. Honestly this hotel is a NYC staple. Nothing can beat it
Worked here in the 80s and love the history the building itself speaks it ...
oh how i loved this hotel. its so fancy. i stayed here for a month and it is so worth it!!
The old Plaza was more endearing. Your Oyster bar unbeatable!
Beautiful place. The food/shops downstairs are a bit magical. You'll gain 5lbs just looking at all the desserts, donuts, cakes!
I'm a huge of fan of service and The Plaza delivers in all aspects - from concierge to check-in to room service - top notch!
Although rooms can be pricey, it is worth the NYC experience of having this hotel as part of your getaway to the Big Apple.
Great iconic midtown NYC hotel located close to Central Park, Fifth Avenue and all things NYC is United for
Bend amazing food court. Went there for pictures with Santa. Great experience.. Highly recommend!!
Very nice Hotel, marvelous restaurants, and the lobby is wonderful.
Their onion soup is devine !!!!
Goodnight! They are so kind to corroborate if they are asking for staff for your hotel since they sent me an email with which I was accepted and that I have to fill out a survey to proceed to be transferred there, I hope your kind response. Thank you.
