A well-known overseas hotel in Hong Kong, located by Victoria Harbour, many celebrities in the world have also stayed. You can pick up and drop off with a super luxury RV. Many of the restaurants are also famous, with international cuisine. There are many historical buildings. The room is fully equipped and controlled by ipad, which is very convenient.

Pool was clean. Loved the turndown service with bath salts and candles in the bathtub. that confused us a bit was the 5 kiwis that were placed in our room as a welcome fruit basket. Good thing we liked kiwis.

On the anniversary, I got strawberries and champagne wrapped in chocolate. I was puzzled by the five kiwis as a welcome "fruit basket", but it was good not to dislike kiwis!

The local count is OK, there is 90 points, lobby has an employee jason attitude is OK, sincerity, he feels that he has the spirit of dedication

I used a cafe. I went to what kind of coffee the world famous luxury hotel. We did not have afternoon tea, but entered without reservation, but we had pancake and tea, and tasted elegant time while enjoying live music and gorgeous interior.
Because the promenade of the night scene spot is near, I went out when the sun went down, stopped by the adjacent 1881 Heritage, and went to enjoy the wonderful night scene.
I had a good time.

However, the attitude of the staff at the reception desk is very indifferent, and the service of the waiters working inside can be described as a far cry!

Because of the good experience of the first stay, I stayed with my 1-year-old son for two nights. After check-in, I found that the room had a strong smell of cigarettes. I told the hotel to put an air cleaner. After sleeping for the first night, the taste was still very strong, and there was no reaction with the counter. The air cleaner slammed for two nights. Two of the control panel 3 are broken. The coffee machine is also broken. The afternoon tea service staff in the lobby is unevenly professional. If the baby chair does not adjust the height, it will be broken. Asking to change the baby chair also means that there is no last one left. It is even more important to turn around and tell him when he orders. I have to leave now... I have to find another waiter to help us adjust the baby chair and order. Changed to Ritz-Carlton on the third night. I already know where to live next time in Hong Kong, definitely not the peninsula!

great service, traditional mixed with technology rooms

A group of us experienced their high tea. The service was exceptional. The food was good but not something I would pay to experience again.

My favourite hotel in Hong Kong. Great staff, great restaurants, great facilities. The rooms have an amazing attention to detail and are very comfortable. I recommend to stay a minimum of 2 nights to go enjoy the full services and spa facilities. Go for the great services and be pampered like royalty.

The Pen is a Hong Kong institution bar none. Although the tea dance with beautiful people days are long gone, replaced by PRC tourists taking selfies in this palace of decadence. The restaurants at the Pen still offer unsurpassed dining experience hard to copy elsewhere in HK.

Not sure why anyone would come here. We got treated badly. None of the staff spoke English which was very unsettling for a large International Hotel. We all got treated with a scowl - believe me we are courteous people and will never speak rudely to anyone.
We were told there was no reservation possible for the afternoon tea. Why would you pay to queue for hours? We rang Langham Hotel and got a table straight away. And the service and food here is excellent. If you are considering coming here, remember you are paying for them to treat you like a second class citizen. Don t do it for rotten service. You deserve better.

This is our second visit to the hotel and we are once again very happy! By far one our favorite hotels around the world. On the Kowloon side gives you a great view of the harbor and Hong Kong Central. Subway is a quick 5 minute walk getting you almost everywhere in Hong Kong. Plenty of restaurants to select from. Afternoon tea here seems to a big deal so reserve a table! Service here is what it's Ll about. Everyone we encountered was kind and very respectful. We traveled on my birthday and was greeted with a birthday dessert. This made my trip that more memorable. Special shout out to Henry Ho for the amazing personalized service we received during our stay. I'll be coming back to Hong Kong, and I won't stay anywhere else!

Japanese buffet set meal (Japanese style pork cutlet)

love their podium garden. went there for an event before n the view is amazing. good for wedding reception or corporate event that serves snacks n drinks. can cater up to 60 people

the hotel is so classic. I have heard people wanting to work in a hotel because of peninsula. It is of a total different class n is just so gorgeous inside n out! I'd love to try all their restaurants. tried chesa n lobby lounge so far. would love to try verandah n the jap one another time

A hotel with an incredible history and legacy to its name. I've enjoyed numerous visits here just simply to walk inside and show visiting friends around. High tea here is also a treat - certainly an experience to remember. Learn some of the interesting history about The Pen before you go. It's been said that when the British Queen would would visit HK, she would always stay here.

I don't know honestly what the fuss is all about. I have been in better serviced hotels and quality. For one, I had a bug in my morning breakfast meal and on top of the I was even charged for it unapologetically, also typically most of the stuff in breakfast is complimentary but again was charged for them. Only after talking it out with the in-charge during checkout, the charges were removed. But expected a better standard than that. The rooms are ok, yes the linen is top notch and comfortable bed. and rooms have old school charm which is appreciated by few.

In-room dining food is also very average, pizza was almost like home made. I think its time for the hotel to really upgrade and theres only so much they can carry on their heritage and being one of the oldest hotel in HK.

Location is great no doubt, but I would prefer a different hotel anyday.

The lunch buffet is about 500, there is not much food choice, the value is next time.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a deal. Superior Room was huge for Hong Kong and a good size anywhere. Lots of things to explore in the room, lot of fun. We got a tour of the China clipper lounge where people wait for the helicopters. Well worth it. Fruit left everyday and towels everywhere. The pool is great for the evening as you look over the island and the electric skyline. Service was impeccable for us. Apparently only after 20 years working there can you be considered not new. Only thing that could be better is the sandwiches. The club, gruyere and ham, and the jumbo hot dog are over priced for what they are. Will hopefully come again.

A long time ago it was luxury

I always stay at the Peninsula when I go to Hong Kong. Mr. Bell and others are moving and feel long-established. Room is old, but is renovated and is clean and cozy. The scones in the cafe are the best when you have them with bullberry jam.

Beautiful place with incredibly attentive staff. Really enjoyed the dim sum selection on this trip to Spring Moon (Chinese restaurant)

I bought a package which include afternoon high tea, dine in dinner and breakfast for two. A very comfortable stay to celebrate on special occasions. Excellent customer service and comfy bed.

Senior old hotel, unfortunately farther and farther from the sea

I went to the rooftop bar here, very good drinks and service. I had to borrow a pair of trousers from the bar as I initially arrived in shorts, they were happy to accommodate.

I took a coffee ... very nice place ... very chic ... but the rates are at the level of standing !!

Only had breakfast here. Dreadfully out of date overall (food, decor, service) Only congee is good.
