Pools Neglected - Mold & Caution Tape. There was black and green mold throughout the pools. They seemed to exceed capacity, as people could barely move in the pools it was so crowded. The staff didn't apologize or raise an eyebrow except to say we could leave if we didn't like it because they had a waiting list. There was caution tape in one area of the pool and the stairs to get in and out of the pool were wobbly, even when children used them. The chlorine was so strong, my kids' eyes were red and swollen. Needless to say, we cut our trip short and will never return. Breakfast at the restaurant was horrible - not enough seating or staff to accommodate the volume of guests, it was really a sad situation.

I have stayed here over 100 times including my honeymoon and I can say it is nothing like what it used to be. Staff was very unfriendly and not accommodating at all. They have lost my business. I am leaving today to go look for another place to stay. RIP Park Vista

Front desk service good 4/5. breakfast buffet was 3/5. Room seemed like it wasn't completely clean. I needed a shower and they forgot to put up the shower curtain! I say overall 4/5 but that's because we got a nice view overlooking Mynatt Park...i would think that's better than overlooking congested Gatlinburg

Could have been better, we were really looking forward to staying here as it is kind of a staple in Gatlinburg, but were let down by the room size. We had to step into the bathtub to close the door to use the toilet. Just a bad situation. Great pool and water slides though!

Great place to stay with a family. Employees are very friendly ans approachable. Warm cookies at checkin helps too. Beautiful lobby, great views and a pool area with 2 slides that the kids love. In house restaurant and bar are good too.

The view from the Park Vista was amazing; we were in the 8th floor, which looked out on all of Gatlinburg as well as the gorgeous mountains. The room was immaculate, and we enjoyed room service two nights in a row. We were glad to see several vegetarian options available. My daughter enjoyed the multi-level swimming pool. She couldn't stay away from the winding water slide! The Park Vista was an amazing experience.

Love the hotel, we've stayed there numerous times. The only issue/complaint that I have is with the poor TV service. Very slow and limited. We received an error message several times while trying to find something to watch (something about access unavailable).
Other than that - we love staying here! The hotel is clean, the rooms are well appointed, the staff is friendly, views are amazing and the pool is great. It's located just off the main drag in Gatlinburg making it easily accessible even when traffic is rough. I would definitely recommend it!

Where to begin.... room was not as clean as it could have been. Hotel is quite old, a bit worn and out dated. This is a Hilton hotel so I expected a higher standard! No USB in room, no HBO as advertised, no Wi-Fi, no Keurig coffee maker, no microwave, only one chair in the room, very poor lighting, no balcony seating (would have been cozy to sit out and enjoy the amazing view of the mountains), over crowded small pools, hot tub out of order, kitchen ran out of shrimp (& service was soooo slow!), only one of our beds were made by house keeping. Asked to get a better room or possibly higher floor and was told there were none available, ok that was understandable but why not ask what you could do to make our stay more enjoyable?
I'm not a regular vacationer but all the hotels I've ever stayed at were 5 stars or more in comparison to Park Vista, this is definitely not worth what we're paying. The view is the only good thing about staying here, definitely would pick a different hotel if I ever come back to Gatlinburg. We have 2 more days here and were thinking of extended another day if we were enjoying it here, nope we'll be leaving on time.

Absolutely beautiful view, interestingly cool cylindrical design, sweet pool area, and overall friendly staff. But there is NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST which sucks and they just want more money. So poo on that part.

The pros: Great location, friendly staff, nice restaurant, beautiful views, AND the best of all- *drum roll* they allowed my very friendly, well behaved blue Staffordshire Terrier to stay here. We have never taken her on vacation, and what a treat this was! Amazing! LOVE how dog friendly the hotel is! All the staff complimented my dog, and said how beautiful she was! A++++ for allowing our pitty! Check in was easy. You can t really walk to any stores, because the incline is pretty steep coming back to hotel (but the tram does come to the hotel so that s a big plus), it s also not a far drive either.

Overall: amazing. The dog part really made our trip. Thanks for everything! Will use again!

If the warm cookies they provided at check in were any indication, I could have told you from the beginning that our stay would be wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the views from our own personal balcony were astonishing.

While it's nice to stay just a little farther away from the crazy busy strip, this hotel's design means it's not so quiet as you'd think. Every room is essentially exposed to nearly every other room in the hotel because of the open circular architecture. However the rooms themselves are lovely with high quality bedding and the pool area is very nice. A nice surprise is the restaurant; their food is actually pretty good and it can be a genuine relief not to have to go down into town for every meal.

Not too helpful when it comes to doing reservations and you figure out a way to stay one more night for the conference, they bump up the rates. Our room with two beds and a balcony had no chairs on the balcony and only one chair inside the room? The second person had to live on the bed. What were they thinking? The room was not clean two standards there was blood on the commode. We were there for a conference but the view was really nice

We felt we stayed at the best hotel in Gatlinburg! We had a few hiccups, but the staff went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were happy.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean with amazing views. The grounds are kept nice and the indoor pool area seemed very nice as well.
A huge thank you to Dave for making sure we were happy with our stay. Miranda at the check in desk was so sweet and extremely helpful! We told her at check in that it was my birthday that weekend and she brought me out a little chocolate bear. She even remembered on the day of, and told me happy birthday and asked how my day was going.
We will definitely be back!

Very neat hotel with wonderful views. We stayed on the 12th floor. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and ventilation was not very good. It was a little dated in the lobby and elevators and nose carries very easily, it was a busy weekend and our sleep was interrupted quite a bit the first night from guests in the hallway. We ordered pizza but they were out of pepperoni but it was still decent. We did not have a chance to swim but the pool was neat looking. The breakfast was like most hotel breakfasts. We ate free as we are diamond members, but beware it does cost (our check was $37 for 2 people). The trolley stops at the hotel but we didn't chose to take advantage and of it this time. Overall it was a nice hotel and we would stay again.

Great views of the mountains and nice rooms. The lobby floor is huge with a bar, restaurant, pool (with a couple slides), small game room, gym, and banquet rooms. The Gatlinburg trolley has stops at the hotel which is nice.

First time staying and it was phenomenal!! Extremely friendly staff! Received us with cookies and water after our long trip. The room and an amazing view of the city! No background noise, comfortable beds and clean room! We loved the location as well!

Wonderful visit! We had a hot water problem but the staff was fantastic. Staying here is a beautiful experience. We stayed here 20 years ago. Today it s even more beautiful. The views are breathtaking. You will not regret it. It s quite during the week this time of year.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days. The one thing that we loved was the view. The food was ok. The staff was alright and the trolley took forever. When we return to Gatlinburg we will stay somewhere else.

Overall, this was a nice stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, the beds were surprisingly comfortable and clean, and the room was nice with a balcony. They even got us into a room with a same day reservation. Docked a star because the showerhead was not installed properly and sprayed every where/flooded the bathroom floor. Maintenance walked in on us around 11pm with barely a knock and then backed out apologizing that he came to the wrong room. Finally, the hotel has a bit of a dated feel and could use some renovations (especially the bathrooms). In a pinch, this place was still much nicer than most hotels nearby and at reasonable rates!

Staff was friendly. Located close to strip yet high enough up for a good view and to where lights don't keep you awake at night. Kids loved the pool and bar carry Sugarland moon shine! HIGHLY recomend the stay.

Beautiful hotel, the pool was breathtaking, the view from the 6th foor of the mountians was breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond, we stayed one night and loved it so much we wanted to last minute book another, the lady said they were packed full due to a sports tournament but they were able to get us a second night same rate and even keep us in the same room. Definitely will be returning!

This hotel has some of the rudest staff I have ever met! If you are going to work in hospitality, you need to be friendly! Cleanliness is also a big issue here. We had stains on our sheets, there was popcorn and all kinds of food in the elevators and hallways. The pool area trash was almost always overflowing during our stay. I wouldn't be suprised to find bed bugs here.

We love this place! We make it a point to stay here every time we are in the area, which is a lot. We have not had a bad experience yet. Rooms are always clean and inviting. They have a wonderful breakfast with indoor or outdoor seating. Guest can ride the trolley to and from downtown Gatlinburg for $1 each way.

I stay at a lot of Hilton s as I am an AMEX Hilton Honors holder, and have stayed at this hotel 4 times. I am done with it! Compared to other local hotels, it is overpriced.

Parking is bad, rates are high, and no free amenities. Not even free coffee. Also, not walking distance to Gatlinburg.

The pros are that it is clean and maintained well. The pool is nice. It is indoor and has two slides. One for small kids and the other for larger kids/adults. Staff is not overly nice, but are not rude. It s just not worth it. Save your points.

Room smelled bad then we discovered wet carpet near the sliding door to the outdoor patio. Girl was bleeding from her knee in the pool, let the pool attendant know, they walked around and did nothing. Girl continued to get into pool and hot tub with drunk parents nearby. Real classy place.

Take me back already! From the front desk to the bar tender they are all 10/10. The fire pit is so fun and we even got to see a little bear, oh my! and the pool has slides better than a water park

Nice hotel with a view. Very poor front desk services. The staffs are not interested in giving quality services and seem to have a bad attitude. Managements should have better quality control than this. Room is decent but could use a make over. My only gripe is with the attitude of the front desk personnel. Hilton is not what it used to be.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at Park Vista. There is an in house restaurant that makes wonderful food (though the portions are a bit large). The main floor has a comfortable lobby, live piano music, and a family pool with two waterslides and a hot tub. The pool was a bit small considering th size of the hotel, but it did have cute forest theme that looks rather impressive. Bear in mind there are no life guards at the pool so make sure to watch your children if you have any. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, with a view of the forest that surrounds the hotel. WiFi there leaves a lot to be desired, as it works just fine in the lobby, but you'd be lucky to open Google in your room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay at Park Vista again.

I booked 3 nights at the Park Vista to celebrate my boyfriend s 22nd birthday and it was wonderful. <- that s an understatement. I called and spoke to a very nice and accommodating woman named Lisa and ordered some things to the room. While speaking to her, I asked if she would be able to decorate the room with birthday decor. AND SHE DID! It was a wonderful surprise. Talk about great service! She hand delivered the alcoholic beverages we ordered and the rest of the staff was friendly as well. Thank you to Daniel and Lisa for making this a great weekend. We will be coming back! :)

We stayed at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg, TN for our 14th wedding anniversary and we were VERY pleased with our stay. The staff was always very nice. The room was albeit the basic room, clean and well-maintained. The sink was a little slow to drain and also the toilet. But, otherwise, no problems. The pool and hot tub were astounding. We especially enjoyed the adult slide. After dark, we took a cup of coffee, along with a warm cookie from the front desk and sat around the fire pit outside on the patio. VERY relaxing! This was our first time staying at this particular Double Tree facility. I was very satisfied and plan on going again in December and taking my three children!

The front desk staff were not very friendly but any time we called the hotel the staff were great. We weren't really able to use the facilities during our stay because of all the conferences and ball teams. Be prepared to park a long way from the entrance. It is all surface parking, no garage, but it is free parking.

The location is spectacular, away from the commercialism of Gatlinburg, but easy access there by way of a trolley if desired. We didn't and stayed at the hotel the whole time, enjoying our amazing views of the mountains from our room, the kids having a blast at the beautiful multi-level pool with 2 slides (and a nice got tub for the grown-ups!), having martinis in the lobby while a pianist played, and then room service for dinner. Reasonable prices and food was delicious, even for our picky eaters. Everyone was kind and helpful...we couldn't have enjoyed our visit more, really special.

This may come as a surprise, but there s something called a pandemic going on but you wouldn t know it by visiting this hotel. Booked to capacity with rooms turned around in short order, this hotel did the minimum to keep guests safe. Guests were rambling about drunk and smoking in the lobby with masks off, tables were all open and packed with little distance between them. I watched an elderly couple get turned away from an early check in because their room hadn t been turned over yet, which is unconscionable. The room should have been cleaned and blocked off for 48 hours before they arrived.
I ve travelled all over the country since the pandemic started and this hotel is the worst I ve experienced. I ve even stayed in Hilton properties that limited capacity, blocked off tables and chairs in public spaces, and constantly sanitized public spaces and fitness areas. Not this hotel.
This dirty hotel has old carpet, broken furniture, not enough parking, bugs in the room, broken tiles, mildew in the showers, and broken elevators that caused my family and I to wait almost an hour to get our luggage cart down to the lobby at check out.
