Lovely ambience, food and service. Definitely going again
Lovely ambience, food and service. Definitely going again
White onion soup and desert were very good. Beefburger could have been better. It was slightly dry.
This is a nice brasserie to have enjoy a nice evening out.
Menu is interesting and service well done
Half chicken roasted is good but too salty for me, courgettes fried as well
Still nice place to have a dinner
If you order a cocktail you might have a huge ice cube but hey still a nice one lol
Reasonably priced for a good time out in soho
My friend and I went to the Ivy Soho for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the roast chicken while my friend had the rump of lamb (special). Although the chicken was on the dry side, the accompanying mushroom sauce and the rich truffle infused mash balanced the dish nicely.
Another noteworthy order was the bread, which was very flavourful.
Amazing..food and service excellent, would def go again
Top Notch. Elegance with a house DJ. Badass. We headed here after Franco Mancas for a night cap. Great wine, service and music.
Service was great, they had forgotten my drink but brought it as soon as I reminded them of it and took it off the bill. Had the fish special, was a bit dry and nothing special. Also I was told there would be one bone in the middle but there were other smaller bones elsewhere which I wasn't expecting. Truffle aranici balls and apple tart were delicious. Would go back but would order a different main.
Decor is beautiful and it's definitely a good spot for a special occasion or romantic meal for two. Our food and drinks were lovely but not spectacular. Service overall was very good. I would come back to try some of their other dishes.
Great tasting breakie. The halloumi was cooked perfectly and the poached eggs a treat.
Service was very efficient and friendly. I would come back as it is very nice inside and a vast menu
I was surprised at how good this was. I expected them to be leaning on the Ivy brand, so it would be poor value for money but it was the opposite. The house champagne was very good, I had the steak tartare to start which was very good, and then the duck curry which was rich, warm and fragrant. The portions were sizeable so I had just enough room to share the ice cream sunday with my GF - this was decadent and creamy. We spent about 120-130 between us and felt like we'd gotten our money's worth for sure.
Another classic of the Ivy range, one of the most exclusive and captivating variations of the English restaurant par excellence.
A lovely experience an top notch food. We always take the parents here for birthdays and anniversaries. Never had a bad meal or service on the numerous visits. Great place to visit and eat and drink plenty!
The vegan menu looks good on paper, but doesn't deliver on taste. It's a very busy brasserie, so expect noisy. Service was great!
Great restaurant, delicious food, nice and friendly staff, excellent value for money. To apologize for a few minutes late they offered us a glass of wine.
Top of my go-to list, great food and drinks. Always love the atmosphere.
.nice environment, good quality of food, rather expensive though. I'd like better service
Great eggs Benedict. Feels very special but not overpriced.
Very disappointing. Food was over cooked and cold when it arrived.
Very tasty, good value for money, great decor and good service! Again at any time
Best service ever. This place aspires to the the vest place in London and gives a 5 stars service. A MUST visit.
Good service and decent food. Tables are extremely tight if you go with a small group.
We had excellent service and food was nice, but I think we got a bit lucky as the couple next to us had to wait much longer for their drinks and food and they were there before us, I think during busy times it can be a bit hit and miss.
Sadly this seems to have become a tourist trap. Arrived today and when the hostess asked someone to show to me to our table she rolled her eyes and acted totally inconvenienced.
The food was mediocre, the didn't have a couple.of things on the menu that we had asked for and the food we did eventually get tasted quite a bit passed its best.
I used to love the ivy but now my friends take the mickey out of me for still thinking it's okay. If you are thinking about going here, reconsider and maybe try the original one in Covent garden or head to kings road where they still take the idea of customer service seriously.
This has essentially become my version of a cheeky nando's. Disappointing.
The food quality is very good, but I'm sorry, the main (shepherd's pie) was the size of a starter. The same holds for the dessert. I would not mind paying a bit more to get a standard portion.
Food good as one would expect, staff wonderful too.
Very noisy, so much so you have to shout over background music and other patrons.
I visited for the first time this weekend and it certainly didn t disappoint, food, drink and service was fantastic. Loved all the artwork too. I will definitely go back again.
Had a function here in the private room at the back. Food was good but service was lacking in some places (speed for example). It seems like an attempt to milk the Ivy name for the sake of covers.
Always a fantastic experience! Great food, cocktails and service!
Nice atmosphere. Service not as good as original restaurant
Very good place, good food, good home, not expensive, to recommend! Top top top!
Surprisingly average food for the price. Would in particular have expected better from their bartenders
Yummy afternoon tea, stunning place and lovely staff. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Would love to go back for lunch or dinner
Great atmosphere and pretty good food. Service was reasonable
Waited a long time to visit, nice food & drinks good staff but found the dj music why too loud to have a conversation without shouting at one another.
Always consistently great food and service. There was even live jazz when we went on a Sunday lunchtime.
Good food but very pricey and we were ushered off our table before finishing.
Horrible experience yesterday. After being sat at the bar for 25 minutes after booking online, I had to complain this was taking too long and needed to know if the table was not going to be available. All I wanted was basic communication and was constantly being fobbed off that the people at our table were still paying. I had a client in town and time was becoming an issue after 25 min. I finally asked to speak with a manager. He was very nice but we still had to wait another another 5 min.
After 30 minutes for a booking I made, we finally sat our table. We ordered drinks and waited for half hour and never received them. As a matter of fact our food arrived before the drinks and we had to remind them to please reorder them.
Food was good, but the service was extremely poor and left a bad impression to the client I brought there. I most likely will not be returning. On top of that, there was no compensation for the wait or missed drinks, but just the full bill thank you (including service!).
You would expect better from the Ivy, but sadly not. This will be the last time for me.
I had linguine and the portion was small and cold. A friend of mine also ordered the linguine and had the same impression. The Chocolate Bombe dessert looked good but the sauce was not warm enough. The ambience and service were good.
Worst staff attitude, very very bad experience I was planning my visit since forever really disappointed, had to walk out soon after seated
Although I asked for window table in my reservation and there were many available but didn't had one even when asking for it
The receptionist was very rude and not welcoming at all
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for sure
Food was okay, service was terrible. My friend had booked dinner for her birthday to make it even worse, when we arrived the booking they had was for 2 hours later but clearly my friends booking confirmation email had the correct time. Then when we ordered our meal, the waiter didn t listen properly and missed out 3 main dishes! (Out of 4). He took the one main dish back but left the side chips so we all had cold chips. Then when we were looking to get the bill, they were trying to rush us out saying they need the table back even though it hadn t even been 1.5 hours yet! Never ever coming back, not to this branch anyways.
Delicious food and great wine selection, interesting decor.
What wonderful food. The lobster linguine is a must. Wonderful service and beautiful vibes
Just brilliant. Great ambience and service. Perfect place for dates, anniversaries and salons.
Great for a girl brunch, but limited pregnancy friendly options cause of runny eggs and felt too bad to send them back but delicious
Love this place. I take all the people I like here. The atmosphere and design is glorious. Such stylish decor, makes me feel like I m in a 1920 s flashy speakeasy. Staff are friendly and proficient.
Good menu choice. I was expecting it all to be a lot more expensive. I loved the decor!
set menu is a bargain, great service from start to finish
Food, staff, service, location and interior is just up there with the best.
Very nice burger with Woodley hole cheddar and parmesan & truffle chips. Would have been 5 stars except the first batch of chips was cold. Quickly sorted out but didn't even get offered a free drink or anything so service not quite up to the reputation of the restaurant.
Really impressive interiors - nice chic parisian Brasserie. Can't fault the food either and very interesting but simple pudding was fab - did it at home too ( frozen berries, ice cream over melted white chocolate...) only thing was the noise level - quite difficult to hold a conversation.
Great atmosphere and very good food but it does not stand up to its reputation. It's just like a very well decorated chain restaurant.
The food was very nice but nothing so special that it was noteworthy.
I would have given it 4 stars but my parmesan and truffle chips were cold.
This was sorted very quickly but nothing, such as a complimentary drink, was offered as an apology which I would expect from an establishment such as this.
I would go again, just to see if the menu changes frequently and if the staff are more attentive next time
Me and a friend decided to go here last minute for brunch and we were not disappointed. We had tried to book, but they said they didn't have any tables until 3pm. We turned up anyway and the ladies on reception managed to seat us at the bar.
She said the bar overlooks the whole restaurant and it does. It's beautiful on the inside and decorated beautifully also on the outside. Although it was really busy the staff were not short on giving you their attention.
My friend can't have anything with gluten in there and they were happy to assist and alter certain things on the menu to suit his dietary requirements. We will defintley be going here again.
Dekicious. Amazing restaurant with lovely decor. Quite bustling and noisy but great atmosphere as we were on a girls night. Great service !!
The restaurant is cold. We ordered 2x Lobster Benedict, one with the sauce on the said (as the waiter recommended me) and when the plates arrived to our table, the sauce was all over. We kindly asked them to please change it and they brought another one which was make obviously very quick, everything wasn t cooked enought.
Very disappointed. Will never come back.
Lovely place, big tables for big companies. The food was ok.
Good brasserie, clean, well laid out venue. Rather expensive compared to my local eateries here in Yorkshire and food not as fresh tasting.
Nice atmosphere and very good food. On a busy day despite having a reservation it took ages to get a table.
Great cocktails and vibe, good service but bland tasteless food.
Good but could be better. Lovely decor, great decor, staff very dapper in their attire. What lets it down is the feeling you are being rushed. They need to be more mindful that eating somewhere like that is a special occasion for most of us, so we want to feel relaxed, not feel you're on conveyor belt.
Superb food as always in a lovely environment with superb staff.
Great food! Service was also good and the food was fantastic. Definitely would return here. Even sitting outside to eat in November with the heater on was still perfect.
Good. With rich and well-prepared food. Friendly waiters
You eat very well, professional waiters, nice environment. Too bad that if they are about to close at midnight on Friday, they will put you out the door practically in an almost rude way. With the prices they have, a minimum of tolerance could add it.
Shepherd's Pie is highly recommended. Although you might need two!
