Hotel or motel? There are rooms with access only from this the outside. Those rooms are motel rooms. "Hotel and Motel" applies to the name more so than "Resort and Spa".

Nice place, staff is attentive and the building is well maintained.

Food is always great. Good service and a nice dining room with fireplace.

Tranquil setting, Theresa provided me with an excellent massage just the right amount of pressure and some helpful tips to help keep me relaxed I will be going back again

Unsatisfactory, limited breakfast for our group. The hotel is located next to a highway. Choose somewhere else.

Good value for the money. Currently there is a promotion to include breakfast with the cost of accommodation which was a bonus. Our room #209 had a wonderful view of the valley and Blomidin. The room itself was a little dark and dated but very, very clean. My only issue was I believe the bath tub should have a grip bar.....a safety issue that I think all hotels/motels should address. The breakfast provided was certainly a lot more than I expected....I thought it would be coffee and a muffin, instead you had the option of a full meal of eggs, home fries, bacon, etc.
Due to covid 19 I wasn't comfortable doing a bread & breakfast as I usually do and for this reason I found the Old Orchard very comfortable experience.

This was our first time here..It was a Valentines gift from my husband ..We had to call the front desk in the middle of the night as the ppl next to us were so noisy and drunk we could not sleep ..And funny thing when we booked in the person said IF it gets loud call us cause if you don't we don't know ...Thought that may have been a red flag and it was..Even normal talking from the room in the adjoining room I could hear everything they said...Very annoying! Staff in restaurant were awesome but food over priced ..A 5 oz glass of wine was $9.75! Only one accessible outlet to plug in our phones...We will be going to our very favorite place next time The Victorian Inn...Its a very quiet and relaxing inn and staff is always awesome ...Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place as we were very disappointed to say the least .. Also for some reason the halls smelled musty Think it might be time to change or get rid of the carpets. .

We were there for a wedding reception. Meal was great. Service was great. Location was fantastic with absolutely stunning views.

I was going to give 4 stars just because 5 means perfect and then I thought nothing is perfect ... but my stay here pretty much was!
Our room was so clean the cleaning staff deserves an award. All the staff was super friendly but not fake friendly. Dining room was beautiful and the meal we had (clubhouse and potato skins was fantastic!) prices were average. The waiter who was an older gentlemen (can t remember the name) was very helpful and friendly as well but not pushy.

The pool and hot tub area is open daily from 8am to 10 pm which was very nice. Sauna as well but didn t use it.
Ice machine and vending machine in the hall way.
Board games and cards available at the front desk was a nice touch.
We had a room with a queen bed and sofa. Bed was comfy. It was a bit soft for my liking but my daughter loved it! Cable TV with free HBO and movie network. The free wifi was excellent... no lagging etc.
I will definitely return!

Rooms were nice and clean. Food offered was not enjoyable.

Best view of valley in Nova Scotia in the restaurant, great food. In the summer you can eat on the patio with an even more spectacular panorama. Rooms are a bit dated, and some of them need a refresh. Quite comfortable. Close to wolfville, new Minas and Kent.

Thanks for the great service! Kids loved the staycation. We'll be back.

The service is excellent and the view alone is worth the stop

we stayed there for a basketball tournament in april and our room wasn t very clean and had a big problem, by little brother was down swimming in the pool and got bit by a beetle. the staff was nice during check in but got rude through out our stay i wouldn t go again

Stayed here for work related travel. Nice and spacious rooms. The staff were friendly. I really enjoyed the food at the restaurant.

Great meal. Nice atmosphere. Our server did a excellent job.

The rooms were pefrect and we had more than enough hot water for the 4 of us in the cabin. The wifi does not work and if you are lucky enough to establish a connection it is not strong enough to do anything. Luckily, my fellow guests and me were not too picky with the cleanliness of the room as we found some old candy bar wrappers behind an endtable and it was a little dirty

We were there for a wedding and it was lovely! Our room was clean and tidy, the front desk staff was very friendly and the reception area in the barn was great! Would definitely come back.

Nice comfortable room. Building has a restaurant and bar area. The whirlpool was closed, but pool was open to prebooking. Picture shows the outside deck over the pool which is great, calm area to relax with a drink and a wonderful view. About 5 minutes from Wolfville .

The rooms are clean people are friendly there's two pools a spa hairdresser workout gym a beautiful balcony that overlooks the valley and a great dining room

Staff was friendly and courteous. Bathrooms clean and spacious. Rooms very nice. Plenty of parking. Could use better signage for main entrance as you drive in and park.

Attended a fundraising dinner here recently. The s service was wonderful....very friendly. Rooms are spacious and there was space to move around. Food was hot and delicious!

Great hotel I barely have a complaint! The only part of my experience yesterday was an slight unpleasant oder. Very well could of came from the spay/pool although the smell was apparent from the entrance. Normally when visiting the hotel this is not a complaint

Joanna Hills at the Eau Spa provided one of the most relaxing massages that I have ever recieved.

Beautiful site. Big room. Kindness of the staff. Nauseating odor of the carpet.

Pool was very clean an relaxing. The Supper was good with friendly staff...the breakfast was blah and the rooms could have been a little cleaner but the bed was comfy...enjoyed my staff

I went for a massage date with my significant other and we loved it.

A girlfriends night away. Just what we needed during CoVid. We got adjoining rooms which made it easy to go between. Booked a swim and had a delicious supper and a takeaway breakfast in the morning. Property is doing a great job of following CoVid protocols . Menu is limited and restaurant is only open for supper as guest numbers are unpredictable. Would prefer everything open but that will happen I am sure once Covid restrictions drop . It was exactly what we Were told prior to booking . Had Great choices and fantastic service. We can t wait to come back when restrictions are not so tight

We were there for Valentine's weekend, there was no room service, little to no delivery services around.

We did book late so we're unable to attend the valentines dinner (our fault).

Overall, not bad, likely won't go back though.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Kid's meals are reasonably priced with good sized portions.

The lobby and restaurant had a unique lodge vibe. The rest of the hotel unfortunately seemed fairly tired from the unenergized staff to the pool that I made a point to skip, sadly. The rooms were decent enough but nothing special. "Inn and spa" came off deceiving.

Nice stay. Beautiful apple orchard and views from the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated. Restaurant staff was very service oriented with the seats offering excellent scenic views.

Room is clean. Location is good and view is nice. Receptionist was nice. Kitchen service was rude and food has poor quality. In their opinion, room service is come down to the kitchen when food is cooked and pick it up yourself...

Im a big review reader, reading all the reviews after I booked to say I was nervous would be an understatement. If this is you too don't be. This place is like a walk back in time, its well kept, clean and the staff are fantastic.

Check in was quick, and painless, we were met with a nice lady who told us everything we needed to know. Made our reservations for dinner, and the pool. The lobby is beautiful, and rustic. We stayed in the king palor room which was spacious, consisted of a king bed, sectional, and updated bathroom with a jacuzzi tub for 2. My only complaint about the room would be that the sectional is just old. The room is filled with beautiful antiques. The sectional just doesn't fit. Any how none the less the room was clean , and the veiw was gorgeous.

The pool area serves its purpose. It's an old pool, and honestly could have been a bit cleaner. However it was nice to have the pool to ourselves, and the water was relatively warm.

The restaurant was beautiful, like seriously beautiful. The food was great we had the meddditraian chicken, shrimp and lobster penne , and spring rolls. All the food was delicious, the spring rolls were amazing . The chef there clearly cares a great deal about putting out quality food, and it shows.

Now for the best part of our stay. Our waiter, the older gentleman who served us in the dining room. He is a gem which i am sure the Inn is aware. He is personable, attentive, professional, and most of all knowledgeable. I've never met someone who knew so much about spirits. He really is fantastic, and leaves a lasting impression. The Inn truly is lucky to have him.

All in all the stay was great, we would definitely return again.

We rented a cabin for a small bachelor party get-together. The amenities were excellent, as was the service we received. Breakfast the following morning was also excellent, and prices were fair across the board. I fully plan on using this venue again.

Avoid this place at all cost. Paper thin walls where you hear everything, moody staff and old/dated rooms......seriously go somewhere else.

Noce room, beautiful view. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Breakfast on site is reasonably priced. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. This place is right off the highway at Exit 11 in the Annapolis Valley making it a perfect spot to stay while exploring this beautiful part of NS.

The staff were wonderful, the food excellent, but the queen bed was so uncomfortable.

Lovely venue for a wedding. The little cottages are very cute! The view is amazing.

Attended the Old Orchard Inn for a Lunch and Learn Information Session. This Annapolis Valley location always provides quality food(delicious cinnamon pastry) and an accessible site for events like these.

We're staying in one of the kitchenette cottages as part of a family reunion and it is everything we need it to be! Beds are comfy and the staff have been so friendly and helpful with our group of 25 people!!!

Booked the March break special and it exceeded our expectations. The pizza party was so fun, the activities were well planned and safely done, and the kids loved the "towel animals" and goodies waiting for us upon arrival.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The spa staff were pleasant and did a great job. We enjoyed the hot tub had a nice swim in the pool. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly and was well paired with a local wine. The room was comfortable and we were fortunate enough to be able to have our dog stay with us. This really helps when trying to plan a trip away. We look forward to our next stay.

We had arrived hoping to have a quick lunch. Instead, as it was Sunday, the Sunday brunch was being served and the regular menu was not available. We did not have time to go elsewhere so we had a mediocre $24.00 buffet.

Great view from the room but no Microwave. I stayed in a room with direct access to outside and sitting on their provided chairs was very peaceful.

Have our work Christmas party here every year, and we are never let down. Always a good time!

Food was delicious. Loved the horseshoes and washer toss. It was a great atmosphere.
