The Old Orchard Inn Review

Beautiful location. Warm and friendly staff. It was a perfect weekend getaway from the city.

For the price I expected more. The spa was lovely, staff was great and restaurant was decent but room and facility styling is more consistent with a motel. Certainly not a 4 star hotel.

Stayed for one-night in a cabin since the hotel was full.

Checked in for a one-night stay and was lucky to get a cabin (rooms were 100% booked), or so I thought. Checked in and went to cabin 428, door was open, nice first impression?

Tried to adjust the heating, you can have sweat locker or ice chest, nice options.

Made friends with the multitude of bugs and spiders. Some dusting and maybe a nice wipe of the two mirrors? They were abysmal.

Wasted time trying to tune in satellite channels.

Had a good view of the unfinished wall in the bathroom, really, $20 in tongue and groove pine would finish it. The water damage was also attractive.

Finally placed the smell that hit me when I walked in and probably the reason the door was open, urine. Probably in the carpet but prevalent none the less.

Lastly, enjoyed listening to the party on the row behind me until way after midnight.

All in all, not worth the $120 plus tax, far from it and to add insult to injury, Mrs N didn t even bother to ask about my stay which leads me to believe that she couldn t handle another complaint.

Nice old hotel i have been comming here since i was little

Very convenient location we were able to day trip to many of the areas in Annapolis and down the shore all the way to Port Royal many very good restaurants and shopping in the area the room was spacious and clean staff were very friendly and and the pool was refreshing plus

Pretty run down. An alternative to White point or oak island if you're really sick if those places. Not much around to catch your eye either.

Great atmosphere clean rooms and really comfortable bed's

Spent one nite. Expensive, hoped to sleep in but air conditioner was noisy and didn't work well. Mentioned it to desk but no discount. Probably won't go back.

Very nice hotel. Nice and quiet area, big and clean rooms, and nice and helpful staff. Swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were nice and clean, and clean towels were available. The outside playing area was great if it wasn't for mosquitoes.

Great time at the AVR Barn Dance. Way too hot inside though.

Old building...needs some updating. Expensive menu. However, should you stay here, ask for a valley view room...the scenery is Beautiful!! As in the Annapolis Valley.

Rooms are pretty nice, beds are really comfy the free wifi is great aswell and the free breakfast was really well done.

Excellent friendly service, maritime hospitality. Beds and room are standard Hotel fair. But the view of Blomidon beautiful.
Don't worry if your room doesn't have a view, there is a panoramic deck with outstanding views.

Great place for a business event! Lots of room and great accomodations. Easy to find, just take a right off the highway and then you're there. Catering was excellent. Great food served and staff was very friendly.

I had a great room with a huge king size bed and whirlpool tub. Wonderful view from the restaurant and the food was terrific. We complimented the chef twice, once for BBQ chicken breast and once for a divine raspberry salad dressing that had my wife swooning. The conference rooms were huge and service was top-notch.

We had a mini reunion at The Old O. and stayed in 3 of the cabins. It was a wonderful experience... the cabins were spacious, the beds were super comfortable and the rates were reasonable. The staff were all friendly, and the breakfast we had in the restaurant there was tasty... I would definitely stay at The Old Orchard Inn again!

Great place for a seminar. Same meal as last two years though. They need more diversity in their food choices.

Stayed at a ground level room with a private question. Room was clean, and it had all the necessities, bed was comfortable. My complaints, $163 no breakfast included, bed made lots of noise when you moved.

Food was nice and the building is asthetically. Not a bad experience by any means just a very basic one.

Comfortable and quiet, great pool for the family. In fact the pool is bigger than most hotels. Odd smell in the hallways but fortunately it doesn't extend into the rooms. Would definitely stay here again. The cottages are nice too.

I attended for a staff Christmas Party. It was beautifully decorated, staff were very pleasant and professional, and food was delicious.

The resturant is great and the view is awesome! Food is always so yummy cant wait to go back.

My girlfriend had her eyebrows done and i dropped here off, and for good reason

Hotel and room were very clean. My room had a newly renovated bathroom. The internet connection is excellent. I especially appreciated the dedicated business only connection.

It's old and the spa and hot tub were closed and I wasn't told untill after I payed .. very disappointing after I was skiing all day. If that was advertised on the site I wouldn't have went there.

The tub and sink were clogged, and when I called the front desk to ask for a toothbrush, not only do they charge for one even though you're spending atleast $150 per night, the woman at the desk sounded very annoyed that I was asking for it

It was very clean and organized. The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. All the staff were very helpful.

My husband and I were meeting friends and doing the wine tour thing in Wolfville for his birthday. We booked a room at the Old Orchard Inn for a couple of nights. We absolutely loved it there. First impression is the lovely staff who work here, front desk, dining room and the ladies who looked after our room. All left a wonderful impression of what good hospitality is all about.
The dining room arranged a birthday cake for my husbands birthday, brought it to our table with sparklers on it. It was a lovely cake and delicious as well.
They show that they really care about your stay and will accommodate you in every way possible.
The rooms were quite comfortable and very clean. I would gladly stay here again!

Very nice place but disappointed when turned away at dinning room because they had a party of people to take care of in another room and dining room was almost empty, they were short staffed we were told.

Wonderful older lodge, classy place, many amenities great service.

Stayed at the hotel for a work conference. Rooms and conference space is excellent. The restaurant food is very good and the staff are engaging and pleasant.

If you have a view over the bay and hills this place is even more special. Nice rooms, friendly-welcoming staff. Nice restaurant with good prices.

Had a nice stay and got to pick.a few apples in the orchard before leaving!

Very Professional, Convenient and Very Good service

Went to the spa at Old Orchard Inn. Staff was very friendly and the spa was clean and inviting. The experience was relaxing and I was very happy with the manicure I received.

We purchased the Valentine s Day package and it was everything we were hoping for. A bottle of champagne for us in the room, a four course meal of the most delicious foods, and a two night stay that we will never forget. Breakfasts were lacking but that was made up for in every other area. Will definitely be returning!

My experience was good. The beds were comfy and clean along with the room. My morning staff was very friendly st checkout

We chose to elope at The Old O as part of their brand new elopement package. Best decision we ever made. The staff went above and beyond they took care of everything from the flowers to food and a cake to an all inclusive weekend stay. I spent a few hours at the onsite Eau Spa and had my nails, hair, and nails done. The food was exquisite and service impeccable.

If you are thinking of eloping, consider the Old Orchard Inn, you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous views, convenient location, nice pool, good restaurant, and lovely grounds. It can feel a little old compared to a new hotel, but we love the charm.

By far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. Very clean, nice view, helpful staff. My only criticism was my room had no microwave. The front desk thankfully heated up my meal anyway.

Had a work meeting. Room was okay. Food was good. Stayed for supper. Restaurant has a great atmosphere. They had a wood fire in a huge hearth and the view was spectacular.

The apple orchard is amazing in the summer and such a relaxing place to stroll and we even took out a picnic.

I have been to the Old Orchard many times for different occasions , from Christmas parties to weddings and just casual meals , I've always had great experiences with the staff and surroundings and will be going back again .

Didn't stay at the Inn. We celebrated new year's eve with one of the most delicious and imaginative meals we've had the pleasure to enjoy. Four course meal with a glass of bubbly to start. Will return definitely

Perfect central location. Has almost everything you need. No room service delivery but you can order from the restaurant and bring back. Some Rooms have amazing views. Not the most current accommodation but we'll maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices for breakfast side dishes extremely high .... Side order if bacon $4.50 approx. Love the million dollar views.

Beautiful spot for an outdoor wedding. Nice room, comfortable bed. Hallways are showing some age.

Staying here was a terrible experience. The walls are not at all sound proof - so you get to enjoy every door slam, loud tv and conversation. During our first night there the people next door left their tv on while they were out until 1AM. On our third night, there was a group set up in the hallway complete with water and snack supplies - they were louder than the tv in our room. Stay at the Super 8 in Windsor.... it s not that much away and much quieter.

I attended a dance at "the barn"; drinks were very expensive, bar tenders were rude and many people were over served. There were several incidences of people vomiting on the floor, and in the bathroom. Music was decent but I'll never attend another event at the barn.
