It was my birthday so my friend arranged for an afternoon tea. It was beautifully presented, lovely and fresh sandwiches and scones and little cakes. Very enjoyable on a snowy afternoon. Would recommend.

Food quality has deteriorated over the past year or two, and the service is very variable. However, it is comfortable and cosy - a great place to catch up with friends.

Afternoon tea is superb with fresh baked scones. The evening meal menu can be a bit hit and miss (cows cheek) and it's a bit expensive for quality you get, no better than some of the local pubs.

The Old Bridge Hotel is a nice place to eat and drink. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The range of drinks they have to offer is great. The food in the restaurant is top quality and definitely worth the price (edges on the side of expensive compared to what's on offer in the close vicinity of Huntingdon but still worth it). They also have a really good wine shop and have a great way of doing wine tasting.

Very nice food, more expensive than your normal steak and chip place but good food, well cooked and well served is worth it.
Not rushed even though the 10pm curfew was on. Thoroughly recommend

We had a lovely lunch today at the Old Bridge. The restaurant staff looked after us well in a relaxed, efficient and friendly way. The surroundings are very comfortable and the food was delicious - I had pork belly which was beautifully cooked with the tastiest crackling. Glad we went.

We chose The Old Bridge for our first date in three years, and we're glad we did. It was an expensive lunch, but it was great quality. The service was great. Although in a relatively casual setting, the service was formal, yet friendly. They provide complimentary filtered still/sparkling water (wonderfully cold). For the wine drinker, there is a plethora of choice. For me, there was a freshly squeezed pint of orange juice.

For mains, I chose the seared tuna topped with tomato and lime, with grilled new potatoes, and a rocket salad. The tuna was nicely seared, and while warm throughout, perfectly rare inside. The accompaniments were well cooked and the salad nicely dressed.

My wife chose the slow-cooked lamb with dauphinoise potatoes. The lamb was soft with a lovely sear on the outside, with a rich (but not overly so) thick sauce that glazed the lamb nicely. The potatoes were wonderfully soft, with many, thin layers, and a crispy bubbly top.

Lovely old building that felt very rustic. Only went to the wine shop to have a look around and buy some wine. Reasonable prices and I liked the dispenser in the middle of the room so I thought the grass was a little overpriced that allows you to use it. The food smelled amazing but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to stay and eat. Not sure about the prices of the food or drinks at the bar.

Great location for meeting socially or commercially. Staff are very efficient always with a smile and friendly. A well run hotel with excellent food and snacks along with warm atmosphere. The steak sandwich is the best I have ever enjoyed and I have enjoyed it numerous times over several years. Highly recommend this place if you like quality without an excessive bill.

We visited this beautiful hotel and building recently for a spot of lunch. Staff are very welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. Very fitting decor and they have a very extensive list of wines. Would visit again.

We visited the tea room and bar at the hotel for afternoon tea with friends.
Nice atmosphere. Great scones. Service was a bit slow and hit and miss when we visited. The staff seemed overwhelmed with the number of customers.
There was a 20 minute wait for hot drinks.

Will put this down to a one off and will visit again when in town, the scones are very very good.

The Old Bridge Hotel has offered a wonderful safe place in which to dine, and have business meetings during the COVID chapter. The staff are so helpful and kind. The food is excellent and the wine list is second to none.

Thank you we can't wait to come back.

Myself and two work colleagues held a business meeting at The Old Bridge this week as we tend to do every other month or so.

A great experience as always, the staff, surrounds, food and whole experience superb as always.

Best place to go in and near Huntingdon, maybe even Cambridgeshire, and I have no issue recommending to anyone

Well done for maintaining the Old Bridge feel/ambience throughout these challenging times.

Thanks

We had a most lovely lunch here. Not wanting a huge cooked meal, we opted for a sandwich. It was amazing, such generous quantities and delicious flavours. Apart from the wonderful food the whole dining area and service was exceptional.Polite, attentive, nothing too much trouble.Just very high standards .

Great food and fantastic wine. Great place to pop in for a drink or for an evening out with dinner. Great selection of wine available, especially in the wine shop. More expensive than the average but well worth it.
