Romantic restaurant to visit. The wine shop with the self service wine tasting is also lovely. Prawn skewers and steak are amazing! Lobster burger is of very delicate taste combining hints of fennel, very rare! Would recommend the expresso ice cream as well. Not as pricy as it looks. Will be a good choice if you want to have some romantic moments with ur loved one.

Was there for a wedding and the place is absolutely STUNNING!!!!! Our room was amazing, with a lot of amenities, even coffee presses for making a proper cup of coffee! The bar has a great atmosphere and the whole interior is very classy and cosy. I loved it.

We went to the Old Bridge Summer ball, an excellent night of entertainment, great food and drink along with awesome company. Book early as they sell out quickly, we will certainly go again. Always like it here but it was good that they put so much effort to organise events like this for customers.

Have been twice to this establishment.

Have been twice to this establishment.
First time round we were extremely disappointed, we had been given a voucher to use there.

My partner was recommended the steak, which he asked to be cooked rare, this arrived burnt to a cinder and when I tasted it, I was unable to chew this, I can only compare it to trying to eat rubber.
Due to this, the waitress said we could have a desert free of charge and so we ordered the apple pie with ice cream, however when this arrived it was uncooked.
It is an extremely beautiful place, with a gorgeous interior, however the food is below any type of expectations we had and if it hadn't been for the fact that we had a voucher I would have refused to pay for anything we had that evening.
Since then we have only been for drinks as I fear we will be disappointed once again.

If you want something that's a little different than normal hotels then The Old Bridge Hotel is the perfect place for you. It offers top quality homely feel hotel services as well as a fantastic dining experience. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, there is ample parking if you bring your car and its right on the edge of the riverbank on one side and town centre on the other. It's very easily accessible as it's literally 2 minute driver from the A14 from Godmanchester exit (junction 24).

Visited for our anniversary. Food, service, location were all exceptional, including the wine shop and the selection available with the meal. A real jewel in town.
Dishes were elegantly balanced in flavour and texture, everything has been delightful and we'll certainly be back.

This is a very nice, quiet hotel. My room was well appointed, my bathroom was amazing, and the service at this hotel is the icing on the cake. From carrying my luggage up stairs for me after a very long 24 hours of travel, to the very kind and attentive ladies that handle breakfast, to the front desk clerk that taught this Texas girl how to use the radiator (heater) in my room, all of the staff are nice, polite and appear to genuinely want to help. It doesn't hurt that the dining room and food are delish.

Excellent. Every year for Christmas party and throughout the year for meals and drinks. Superb wine shop. Warm welcome, great service. Thank you Cyril for great service and looking after us again this year - we enjoyed it immensely.

First visit the the hotel was for an evening meeting.
Very helpful staff, really nice meeting room, good supply of teas and coffees.
When you add easy access from the A1 and plenty of free parking I would rate this an excellent venue.

Stayed for 1 night on dinner b&b in room 25. Room was beautiful with huge ensuite. Before heading for dinner we went to the wine shop and did a little wine tasting. Dinner itself was very good-food was great quality and very well presented. The service was fantastic (professional and attentive but not intrusive). My only gripe (and this is me being very picky)would be that the butter served with the meals we had was over chilled and impossible to spread. Not the end of the world I know! A really fantastic hotel. Would visit again.

We always stop here when traveling on the A14, get off at Godmanchester exit and drive through the village until you see the bridge. Lovely eating area and great snacks plus a wine shop to browse around. Very posh..

Came here for a few drinks with friends on a Saturday evening. It was busy but not overly so, bar staff were quick and friendly, and it's a nice atmosphere. Good for people watching, too.

Good atmosphere and setting

Good atmosphere and setting
Table cloths should be ironed and light should be dusted please.
Plates needs a final check before sending as some finger mark and dribbles can be seen (Especially on black plates)
Good service, not rushed and skilled staff. Food was well executed.
